As a writing choice, I find the 1 km boundary very interesting. Why a kilometer? It's a completely irrelevant measurement from a biblical perspective, and for it to be -exactly- 1 kilometer implies that the meter was based on this distance.

i believe 682 would eventually adapt in some way to 001s attacks and it stopped attacking after rendering it immobile so the agents could collect it
