I forgot to mention the scenes with his sons are the most beautiful thing ever.. You look to be a fabulous father a truly loving good man and the world needs more of those. That sing with the little guy in the beginning and then the end credit credit no it was an accident I even saw that that was happening over there because I don't have peripheral I feel so once I figured out after I watched it about the 15th time and realized that there is a whole other video there I Of course I have to watch it more times just to try to see what was going on. It is just beautiful and that is how it's supposed to be so God-bless you for being a good father and saying that that was their 1st movie in their last movie as children I have to concur with that bless your heart my God keep you strong and safe

One of the most moving, movies I've heard/scene in years(I'm blind in both eyes only see tiny thing far away detail no peripheral. Super blurry Mrs Maggoo)
Personally had everything you need all the way to the talk at the end. Broke my heart Layla the wife died that was heartbreaking unexpected.. And then of course the end where he brings in the picture and says thank you for saving his son being a son. Which solidifies the fact which solidifies the fact that just because you got the old Sullivan name did not change who he was as a human being I'm being. A good human beingood human being. Just again just a good movie I don't care what anybody says I've listened to it and I attempt to watch things It takes me hundreds of times but times but if I like it well enough I do it just like the boondock saints I've seen over 200 I'm blind and both eyes I only see tiny stuff. My copilot's AKA granddaughters are now gone and they used to pause the show and run to the screen and show me where to stare and they'd stay there and then rewind fast forward et cetera.. Just a beautiful movie and personally you didn't get the Iraqi theme song but I tell you what you didn't need it needed I thought it was awesome absolutely awesome

I had no idea that I lived 2 streets away from this man until today. Two weeks ago, I had to call the police on him for aggressive threats and bullying in the street and it was not until this morning that I found out it was 'this' actor. When the police rounded the corner, he ran back to his vehicle, shouting how easily he could "break" me and took off in a cloud of smoke. The police found him from my video of his license plate. Now that I know that guy was the actor that I liked so much in the 90's; I just feel sorry for him. This guy made me cry in Powder and now he is picking fights with passive people in the street? Just like everyone who has fought or tried to fight me, I hold no ill will.

    • @TexZenMaster
      @TexZenMaster 3 года назад

I still hit "Like" on this video because in this interview, he seems like a warm and genuine person; Unlike the sophomoric animal I met in the streets that day. Everyone has their grumpy days and maybe I just brought out the worst in him. Although, in this very talk, he said "I'm not sure I'm a good human being or a decent human being, but what I ended up as is a product of the martial arts mat." I hope he grows up and stops starting fights in the street before someone treats it like combat instead of 'fighting'. (the difference is the intent to kill)

Most people would consider that very bully-ish behavior. After I called the police, he jumped back in his vehicle and took off. I'm still in shock at witnessing such behavior. I've been stabbed for a 99 cent pager... and *THIS* was a shocking level of cowardice.

@@Dude-ski Sorry, that was a quick, auto-response this morning. I wrote the story down before I knew it was this actor. Here is my post from a self-defense forum the day after:
      "May 9th, 2021 (Yesterday morning)
I am half asleep at 8am walking the dogs and they are doing their business in the drainage ditch. My dog gets done doing his thing and a neighbor yells out to me "Why don't you pick it up?" I wake up a little and once I spot the source of the voice, I responded "It's always in the drainage ditch; It gets washed away with every rain." Her voice gets shrill and then soft "Are you SERIOUSLY..." I couldn't hear the rest, but she was glaring at me. I may have been grumpy and didn't want to engage, so I smiled and said "Have a good day." Perhaps a little rude on my part, but I pick up nearly 4,000 lbs of trash every year from these ditches while I walk my dogs; Poop is natural. I kept walking my dogs, feeding strays, giving carrots to horses, and after a quarter mile, an expensive SUV pulls up to a stop next to me. As always, I get off the road for every vehicle; There are no sidewalks.
The vehicle came to a halt quickly and I was already wary of this encounter for that reason. A man in his mid 40's hopped out quickly wearing MMA-style shorts and shirt. He took a step quickly towards me and said "Are you really not gonna pick up that poop?" He was about 10ft from my 4 dogs and I at this point. I smiled and said "Well I have been doing this for years and it isn't on your property..." He interrupted me. "Cause we might have a problem. Are you gonna pick up that poop?" He takes another large step forward in an obvious attempt to intimidate me. I looked him in the eye and said "No sir, and I am not required to." He reaches down and ties the drawstring on his MMA-shorts while he takes another big step towards me and says "Then we're gonna have a problem."
I was expecting this sort of response when I saw the car stop so violently and here is where my mind went in the moments adrenaline began to flow: Facts-This man has BJJ instructors come to his expensive home every Sunday morning. BJJ and MMA fans think that choking someone is a fighting move; It is mortal combat. I am much larger than this man, but I have no wish to fight anyone for any reason. I have seen too much of that already; No more. If arms are wrapped around my neck on the street and I cannot escape, weapons get used, chunks of flesh get taken by teeth, and most people would say that is not an inappropriate response to this potential attack. This man might die over dog poop... This is too silly. I had to be careful of this guy; This is dangerous stupidity.
I put one arm outstretched towards him with all fingers outstretched and assertively said "Stay back, sir. I have no wish to fight you." In my other hand was four dog leashes and 130 lbs of dog at the other end of them. The dogs were not aggressive, they sit when I stop like good dogs. The man stops in his tracks, smiles, and says "Who said anything about a fight. That was you." as he takes one more step and chuckles. He is now ~5 feet from me. My voice raises and I shout "STOP! This is the last time I will tell you!" He stops and says "Or what?" I lowered my head into a glare and said "I will contact the authorities and report your aggressive behavior." I don't have it on tape, but I know me and I know my voice; These words, although rational and calm, had 10% growl behind the words to insinuate my serious attitude. His shoulders slumped a little and he said "Anything else you wanna do?" I quickly smiled and replied "Yes, actually. I would love to continue my walk without impediment or fear of danger. If you'll keep your distance, I'll..." He interrupts "Nah, you're not done here."
My fear surfaced once again and my smile disappeared. I interrupted the next thing he said by loudly saying "Sir, you are not being friendly and at this point, I have no wish to be your friend; So if you step aside, we can both get on with our days." When I get scared, I can be exceptionally polite. It helps avoid fights sometimes, but can be seen as weakness if not delivered correctly. He starts to argue and I interrupt him again, even louder with "Are you willing to back up and let me pass?" He crosses his arms, doesn't move, and says "Go ahead" I held the leashes out, which tells the dogs it is time to move and said "If you will just keep your distance please, sir." as I stepped wide around him towards my original direction. Once my shoulders began to pass his, he took a step towards me and started to say "What you need to do is..." I interrupted him again; I want to be done with this person and I feel threatened. "What you need to do is back up, sir." Again, he stops in his tracks and says "Or what" I giggle because I feel like we have been over this before and softly said "Or I'll call the cops" He says "Do it, then."
I was just frustrated at this point and wanted it done, so I hit the emergency button on my phone and began explaining the situation to the 911 operator. Every few words, the man would come closer to me, seemingly trying to give 'his side' to the police, but I kept shouting "Stay back, sir" and informing the operator that he is still advancing towards me. I didn't want to turn my back on this irascible and unhinged person; Even though the way was clear in front of me. After the call ended, he began telling me how easily he would have defeated me and I would have stood no chance. I just nodded and said "Alright, as long as it's over; You can tell everyone you won and you defeated a bad guy. I don't care." He rocked back on his back foot with his arms folded, smiled, and said "I would break you like that (snaps fingers). I know what I'm doing." I was not feeling threatened anymore, so I tactfully tried to give him some knowledge and perspective. It is obvious that this man has either never been in a street fight and/or was just a bully to those weaker. In his mind, he would choke me til I tapped and I would stagger back to his property defeated and scoop up the feces with my bare hands. That was all he was fighting for: Ego. So I chose my words carefully when I spoke next. "What do you think fighting is, man? Have you ever bitten a chunk off one one person to spit it at the others to scare them? Fighting is ugly and disgusting and no mature adult wants any part of it." He had started to say something while I was talking, but trailed of to zero volume as my words and brief anecdote intensified. For the first time since he exited the car, he was looking at his feet and mumbling... A sign of defeat. So I continued "You don't know where I've been and I don't know where you've been, man. You could be a navy seal with over a hundred kills, but you don't know me either. The best thing for everyone is if no one gets injured, don't you agree?" He was looking down almost entirely now; I think the reality of his own behavior was settling in and the cops were drawing closer to his abandoned vehicle. With head low and voice quiet, starts walking back to his car. This got on my nerves; I'll admit.
I loudly said "What are you doing motherf^cker? You asked me to call the cops; Don't you want to stay and tell them how righteous you are?" My words were rude and uncalled for; I won't sugar coat it. His pace quickens as he nears his vehicle and he turns raises his hand again and says "I could break you like that (gently snaps his fingers)" He jumps into his car and takes off quickly, I video recorded the vehicle and plates for the police as he left. His window was down slightly and I said "Why are you running from the light, big man? Don't you wanna be seen?" He took off before I finished my sentence. Less than 30 seconds later, the police round the corner and I flag them down for the synopsis. The first thing I did was announce my concealed weapon, then gave them the details and address. They looked at me the same way I would look at anyone in this situation "You really bothering us for this BS" I cannot argue with that, but there needs to be a record of this man's behavior towards me for the future. The deputy called me on my cell a while later and told me that they had "talked with him and told him to leave you alone". I know the neighborhood and went to the stop sign to see the cops out. They were chatting with the supervisor 3 houses down from me; Likely telling him about the BS call so early on a Sunday. I spoke with them for a few minutes and apologized. They said that I did the right thing. I thanked them for their service and for their quick response, and went to eat breakfast.
I was rude at the end when the intimidation tables had turned, but I was in no way violent and never took a step towards him until I was videoing his car leave. This man almost lost his life over dog poop and hubris. That man's son almost lost a father because daddy wanted to play 'street fighter' for real. Anybody, everybody, tame your ego; The only thing that separates a superhero from a prison inmate is self control."
It was only a couple of weeks later that I found out who he was after a neighbor asked why the police were called and I told her this story. When she finally stopped laughing, she finally told me who he was. I just thought it was some random meth head.
This neighbor thanked me for picking up trash around the neighborhood on multiple occasions over the last few years and then explodes out of the house with the intent to cause violence over dog doo?? It sounded like substance abuse and still does; However, I wouldn't judge him for a problem like that and would encourage him to get help if that's the case.

@@TexZenMaster It typically takes 9 weeks for dog feces to be broken down. Les time in hot humid environments. That being said the bacteria and deadly pathogens can be transferred into the soil, water, and wind. By you saying the rain washes it away doesn’t make it ok. The bacteria is still being released into the environment. I appreciate you picking up trash as you say you do. That is a good thing. But it doesn’t make it fine to let more feces be released into a drainage system in my opinion. Anyways that’s my two cents. I don’t know you or him. I just know some of his movies and have learned about him teaching jiu jitsu. Any legitimate martial arts teacher can do a lot of good for the world. So I appreciate him for that. I appreciate you if you really do pick up trash in the neighborhood to make it cleaner. Anyways, have a good day man.
