This is the first Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro comparison video on our channel and we will do more and also the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus! From my previous review of the two Xiaomi Redmi mid-range phones, I'm pretty surprised with the camera performance of Redmi "Pro" and "Pro Plus". I feel like they came a long way, and Xiaomi is starting to close the gap with other high-end phones. We are comparing it with the best camera midrange phone, the Google Pixel 7a! We are taking images both indoors and outdoors, everything were shot by default in auto mode, on Xiaomi Redmi note 13 Pro, the AI mode and the HDR are turned off so we will keep it that way! While Pixel 7a is in full auto mode! Let the battle begin!

And have you experienced this nonstop focus hunting issue when recording video in 1080p 30/60 and 4K 30?

should've turned the hdr mode on in redmi since most ppl will turn it on and also cuz pixel has aggressive hdr so redmi without enabling that would not be even close

I think the redmi Note 13 pro is good, but I was negatively surprised by the Xiaomi 12tpro. The low light capabilities, especially with long exposures, were a disaster. Google is miles ahead here when it comes to astrophotography

In my opinion it is quite the opposite. The redmi looks like a phone for girs as it adds heavy layer of make-up on the face :D The issue is evident in sunlight. Even in the comparison video with S23FE the skin colors in sunlight looks like painting to me. Results from indoors are better (skin color / skin tones). In terms of photography the pixel is simply better. The battery and the pricetag are better on xiaomi. I pick now a phone for my sis and I will probably choose the redmi for her.

personally I couldn't care less if a Chinese phone wins
when your Chinese phone stops working call them and see what they tell you. After that you'll never buy another Chinese phone. Seems like a good deal until it breaks and your left with no help.
Aside from that the pixel 7a won this test but even if it didn't I wouldn't buy a Chinese phone no thanks I need support.
