  • Institute Chairman Mike Milken sits down with legendary investors Kenneth Griffin of Citadel and Stephen Schwarzman of Blackstone Group to discuss not only their investment outlooks for various asset classes, but also the social and geopolitical trends informing those opinions. Among their many areas of concern and focus are America's competitiveness, education reform, the U.S.-China relationship, corporate governance, political polarization, regulation, taxation and central bank policies. What are the most important lessons they've learned - from both their successes and their failures? What responsibilities come with managing giant asset pools? What keeps these leaders awake at night? What drives their philanthropic initiatives? And what's next for their personal efforts and their firms?

I agree with Ken about the importance of mentorship. It truly is an integral component of success. He seems very intelligent and no nonsense. Excellent video!

Instead of demonizing the rich just join them. I made below 25g's last year and I just bought stock in BX. Even though I've had a miserable last couple of years I'm debt free because I listen to guys like Stephen Schwarzman. Keep grinding... God Bless the USA

Good job on being smart with your money with the concept of finance and investment. Few people figure this out.

Thank you. I would like to see all these liberals go live a day in North Korea and see how much they hate the US. It is not how many times you get knocked down. You got to keep getting up! I don't make a lot of money BUT I still give to the poor. The US gov. needs to lower the corporate tax rate so the companies can bring the jobs back to the US. It's that EZ.

"America is no longer a fair place." When was it ever a fair place?

You and the people that like your comment are obviously losers. America is the fairest, freest, most opportunity-filled place in history of the world. But some people just like being losers.
They embrace nonsense so they can justify their laziness and ignorance.

Ken Griffin you were a white Harvard Student, with the ability to make people money. So people spending 1000's of hours to invest in you, doesnt speak very much.

Schwarzman for President! I don't understand why these guys don't focus more on public policy once they've made ALL the money! They both have great ideas but it's only to gain profit sadly.
