- Well ladies and gentlemen the time has come the project accord has finally hit the dyno! we ran into a few issues some of which I didn't get a chance to record but the distributor was badd and the vetec solenoid was badd which caused issues tuning but we got everything worked out motor wise and she drives like a champ!

Thank you much! These cars are fun to work on. I'm still having a few issues with the fully built engine but that's expected. Overall you can't beat an H22 in a CB7. Go for it!

You get your no vtec and no speedo figured out? Right after my swap (USDM H22 into 1990 accord completed in 2002) I had the same issue, ended up being a small wire harness on the drivers side by the fire wall was unplugged.

Yeah it was bone stock from head to oil pan! I was pretty surprised too!

@@DG-gr7qf only a few months because my oil pump went out and spun a bearing. The rest of the motor was super healthy when I inspected it.

I have an h swapped EJ1, picking up a turbo kit this weekend. Got a 60mm turbo on the way with a 38mm waste gate.
First time going turbo so my question is does the dyno show bhp or whp? I know I got 220whp N/A rn but dont know if the dyno will show whp or bhp
Nice!!
The DYNO will show you Whatever power you're making to the wheels. Bhp is usually what you make to the crank and some if the power is lost before it actually "makes it to the wheels". Most bone stock h series are in the 300-400whp range when you through a turbo kit on with a good tune.
Damn... I had got my cb7 h22a built & tuned by blueridge motorsports in hickory. Too bad they closed down now

I went with the CX racing Brand. Honestly have to complaints at all.. Not sure what the prices are now but I paid $450 shipped for mine

100% Bone stock H22a engine. Only upgrade was 1000cc injectors and walbro 255 fuel pump. I wouldn't go any higher than 300-350whp if you're gonna keep it stock but its definitely worth it

@@R3TV I will get some more video. My car had a fuel problem on the dyno and melted the pistons. Waiting on my block now, should be back in a few weeks
i mean it's a closed deck h22a, so it isn't that surprising that it holds 400hp, but other open deck models aren't as good
Was this tune on the current setup listed in the description? Just trying to get a ball park on where my numbers can potentially be with my build after tune. My setup is a jdm h23a bluetop precision 1000cc injectors aem fuel rain and fpr. Walboro 255 fuel pump. Skunk2 intake manifold and 70mm throttle body. Skunk2 pro1 cams and cam gears supertech valve train and just a turbo setup pieced together with some ebay parts. Just need to get it all together
Yes this tune was on the bone stock h22a with 1000cc injectors and 255 fuel pump. I ended with about 350-360 on 11psi. So you should definitely be able to hit that no problem with your setup! What manifold and turbo are you running? That's gonna have the most affect.

How much boost? And also how did you get it to rev all the way to redline with outh the speed sensor working?
That was between 8 to 10 psi running off the wastegate and I was able to rev it out all the way without the speed senor I just couldn't setup 2 step

I'm running 2.5. It works great. I may go a little larger when I upgrade my intercooler set up though
