Most groups will naturally have a member with more mainstream appeal who will "sell" the group and many times will eventually go solo to great success. The Supremes-Diana Ross, New Edition-Bobby Brown, N-Sync-Justin Timberlake, Immature-Marques Houston, Jodeci-Kci & JoJo, Dru Hill-Sisqo, B2K-Omarion, Goodie Mob-Cee-lo, Outkast-Andre 3000, the list goes on and on. That's the nature of the business. She mentioned in this interview herself she would not miss a show because "of how much she was getting paid." Even if you are just a back-up singer as part of a major group, you're still making a lot of money from those shows. Based on what I see in this interview, it seems to me she just wasn't built for the business. People have to be careful when they mix business/money with friendship, because one can easily contaminate the other depending on the personalities involved.

Yes she saw them rising to the TOP , singing and preforming like it's nothing since they'd been doing it since she's 9-10. However, the expectation is that you have a job to do and it is your responsibility to do the job. what she didn’t say and what we don’t know is if she ever reached back out to the group. It will be one thing to say she reached out and they no longer responded to her, but if she left and never communicated anything after, that is on her regardless of the situation.

She even had surgery during her renaissance tour and kept it moving. She mentioned in this interview herself she would not miss a show because "of how much she was getting paid." Even if you are just a back-up singer as part of a major group, you're still making a lot of money from those shows. Based on what I see in this interview, it seems to me she just wasn't built for the business.
People have to be careful when they mix business/money with friendship, because one can easily contaminate the other depending on the personalities involved.

What job allows you to walk off the job then calls you and beg you to come back..... she pulled a no call and no show. She missed shows when she didn’t show up to perform. She wanted them to beg her to come back!

I also think she's blaming the group members - who were all young like her at the time - for not going against "management" - not logical - just say it was Matthew - bcz if the girls weren't the ones ganging up on you, who was it? since they weren't even in the meeting that caused you to walk out 🤔 - why isn't she naming who was in that meeting?
I really feel like she's giving mixed messages - and that IF something happened that shouldn't've happened, she's still not really saying what it was
