To make a new engine design like super charged, ext you have to go to the engine stand when it’s empty and pick the one you want to build from the create new tab then take all the parts to already have and build it onto the stand once you picked it. Then use the crane to put it in the car. If it says swap-able you can build it and insert it into the car
I don't understand stand why this guy has low subs. This guy makes exelent content for car guys and non car guys and it's just amazing compared to others who have like millions of subs.
Bruh man, its not even king. The King was based on real NASCAR driver Richard Petty who's nickname was "The King" he drove blue Plymouth Superbird for some time, not Dodge Charger Daytona, they are a little bit similar but still different cars.
First saw this car on either Jay Leno, or Dennis Gage (MyClassicCarTV). Now here I am watching a virtual build. Gaming has come such a long way since my days of playing car games like 'Outrun' on arcade. When I was a kid back in the early 80's here in the UK, there used to be so many of these little mechanics' garage's dotted around my locality, and it was fascinating seeing these guys deep into their work under those open hoods or dismantled cars. Back then gaming was fairly new, and I wouldn't ever have imagined that this kind of 'work' end up as games; such a great idea. This is such interesting content. I imagine you'll blow up one day.
Just FYI this already exists. The game is called Wrench and its amazing. Bolts have to be done up to torque specs with a manually set wrench - the level of detail is amazing. It blows away all previous mechanic games. Like just the brake are made up of the 15-20 parts that they should be per wheel, instead of just wacking on rotors. Engine builds take hours.
A way to remember the tire size, in this case the old ones were 215/75R14. 215cm is the width of the tread the 75 represents the % of the width in this case 161cm that is the tire wall height (profile) , and then R14 is the rim size.
Just got this game yesterday, I got the same Daytona from a auction (I'm playing on sandbox to learn the game) I stripped out all the parts and I have to order and get all the parts again! The game glitched and it said all the parts are still decayed. So thanks for the play through! It helped me know what parts go where 😅 you for sure got yourself a new subscriber!
Nuclear cookies no they’re not. The Daytona is made from a 69 charger, and the super bird is made from a 70 roadrunner. Just cause they both have wings and nose ones doesn’t mean they’re the same
@@austinmoore4358 Well the superbird was made to be more aestheticly pleasing. While the Daytona pushed more for performance. Thus caused the superbird to lose some horsepower. Both cars are rather different all around, and they should be treated as different vehicles. (Because they are)
I watch your videos because I love car mechanic simulator and I like playing it myself and actually I don’t know much about the game so I watch these types of videos so I know how to play it
joe dirts car was a 1969 dodge daytona, that car is a 1970 plymouth road runner superbird, the super bird was a google copy and paste with a few modifications to give a slightly different look, ford and plymouth teamed up and made the car to compete with Chrysler in 70's in nascar.
I'd say it's a road runner just because it doesn't have the "race fill cap" on the back quarter panel, and the more angled spoiler, then again all the road runners had vinyl tops, where's the little scoops on the front above the wheel wells, idk why I felt compelled to watch this whole video, but I did, and I liked it, I wanna play this game
1969 Daytona was designed for NASCAR. Because of its dominance, NASCAR required that Dodge develop factory cars for production. They built 504 Daytona's to meet requirements for NASCAR.
If only building an old mopar was this simple😂 i have a crate 360 short block comin for my duster, lookin forward to finally finishing my 6 year project
Haha tell me about it! In real life I’m 90% finished restoring a 1961 F100 Unibody Shortbed. In this game there are no stuck fasteners, no grime, no setting timing/tuning carbs, no adjusting and re-adjusting valve lash, no completely loosing your 9/16” socket when you JUST had it......ahhh if only it were that way in real life 😂
It’s based off of a Dodge Daytona. Best guess for the magnum bit is from the name of an engine that was common in Daytona’s and chargers, the magnum 440. They probably just couldn’t get the rights to the full name.
Is this game a good real life education on becoming familiar with car mechanics, terms and the repair process. I'm not trying to become a mechanic but I think knowing how the stuff is fix via gamifying it is cool.
Best bet with regard to the engines is to modify the car's config files. In there, you can pretty change the stock engine to any in game engine once you edit the files and then use the game editor
Yo, why does the car have '71 Mustang taillights. It's a '69 Charger Daytona Plum Crazy Purple (Dodge) In Violet (Plymouth) Hemi Orange Vitamin-C Orange Sublime (Dodge) Sassy Grass Green (Plymouth) B5 Blue (Dodge and Plymouth) Curious Yellow Lemon Twist Yellow F8 Green (dark) F6 Green (like a dark lime.. color is amazing. Must see in person) Petty Blue was actually a ______ Blue. Forgot the color, but it became known as Petty Blue... because of Richard Petty of Nascar. This color was really just used on the Road Runner Superbird and Richard's RR Nascars in the early '70s.
I agree that they should have added it as a Daytona but, maybe it is supposed to be a Plymouth? In addition to the fuel pump inaccuracy, the vehicles that are supposed to be GM have the distributor up front rather than the rear of the engine bay. Another thing, it requires you pour oil in and replace the filter but, where is the oil pump? As a tip: It normally tells you swap options in a box at the top right of the "Car Status" screen. The few I've swapped, it required me to build on the stand for whatever reason. Might be because I'm on the Xbox version.
Thanks for the fix up man!
You bet brother! And you were right, she buffed out 😉
Don’t you have a tricked out Camaro?
i thought u had a hemi

This game needs to be in VR and all those mouse actions need to be replaced by hand action on the Oculus Quest or Rift.
I totally agree with you there! Hopefully it’ll be in the next version of the game

The reason the Tempest Magnum has it's name is that the Dodge and other brands were licensed after the game was finished and released.
Most unrealistic part about this game is that you never loose your bolts and then have to spend half an hour to find 2 fucking bolt
