need a culture fix. thats mike vrabel. but remember when john robinson got rid of aj brown... vrabel's reaction said it all. he wont go if he has some kind of power. like shanahan. he is not the gm but he has the final say. the other guy should be ben johnson. but he stayed with the lions because he will wait for the best situation. i dont think the jets will appeal to him.... plus he is the no.1 hot candidate in the nfl... he will chose a team not the other way around.
Im now fully on board the Aaron Glenn train. I love what i hear about him from players, coaches, former teammates, everything starts checking the boxes. Leader, accountability, respect, everything we're lacking. I get hes a defensive mind but im like JC, i dont care. He could be a ST coach like John Harbaugh. Just get a true leader. Im gonna stay on the Aaron Glenn hype train the entire process. Make it happen.
I remember the one he had before this one. The real OG opening going back to the early days of hundreds of followers , not thousands 👍. Cool watching all these guys covering the Jets evolve over the years
Aaron Glenn or Brian Flores! One played for us and the other is from Brooklyn, NY! Need an experienced OC to come along as well like Daboll if the Giants let him go!
That's certainly a group of candidates. Like most Jets fans, I'd prefer Vrabel, but we shouldn't throw all our eggs into that basket alone. Cogen and Glenn offer intriguing options provided they can put together a solid staff. The gm selection will be the ultimate tell.
As a Lions Fan, I hope the Jets take a long look at AG (Aaron Glenn). He’s been with DET since 2021 and thats when the shift started….and being a former player and now working under Dan, I look forward to seeing him be a great head-coach (just not in the NFC NORTH).
I’m against another rookie D Coordinator for the Jets’ HC position. Vrabel is an exception as he’s already proven himself as a good HC in charge of his team. But please coordinate this move with the new GM.
you make good points but also think you sell short some of what the jets have on the offensive side of the ball. 2 great wrs, 2 good rbs, an average to decent oline(really think our OL coach is holding us back), and a top 10 pick most likely use on OL/QB
Vrabel, Johnson, and Glenn are the only guys I really like on this list tbh. A lot of these other guys aren’t even doing a good job controlling their sides of the ball. Still would be fine with Rex or Gruden too. Thanks for the update 🫡👍
I think if they keep A. Rodgers, next season, they're going for a defensive minded HC. If I had to pick Rex Ryan because players play hard for him. His brother Rob Ryan coaches with the raiders, so I don't think he'll be too outdated with schemes.
The reality is that I'm pretty sure they want to nail down the GM first (understandably) and we still have a whopping FIVE football games left to play under Ulbrich... we're gonna be seeing these videos for months boys lol
If you cannot get Vrabel, Aaron Glenn would be my choice. Played for the Jets for 8 years. One of the best ever Jet defensive backs. Played under Parcells. Just might be the guy to bring the Jets back to relevance.
Liam Coen is a great shout. I thought Dave Canales was great but the Bucs offence has been even better under Coen and he’s developed some really good players this year.
Lions have arguably the Best O-line, RB Tandem and the perfect QB to run Ben Johnsons schemes Watch Goff's ball fakes on pitch outs and play action also Jared Goff is one of the most accurate passers in the NFL I'm in Michigan and see Ben all the time in interviews, as an OC Johnson is a really low key quiet X and O's tactician, his personality and skillset doesn't always translate to HC IMHO
The same Anthony Lynn that underachieved with a talented Chargers roster and did absolutely nothing as the Lions offensive coordinator after that? What games are you watching?
Better question. WHY would many of these Coaches want to work for the JETS? I would HIRE the Person that proves worth it and REALLY wants to be the Coach. Like REX
If Vrabel is actually interested, I hope we get him. He's another defensive guy but compared to Saleh he's also a great leader and game manager. Saleh was a great guy but felt like he was a speech, motivation guy.
Flores & Gruden suing the NFL is probably a turn-off for Woody Johnson. While I disagree with many of Woody Johnson's decisions, I would not blame him if he didn't want to get involved with coaches who are suing the NFL. You raise good points about some of the guys who look good because their team is doing well this year. The Steelers seem to have a system which allows quality coaches to succeed and it may be hard to identify the true reason for their success. My preference runs toward coaches whose teams do not get physically pushed around: Parcells, Belichick, Campbell, Tomlin are examples. The current candidate with that quality is Mike Vrabel.
Vrabel's cool, if you think another defensive guru is the way I'd prefer an established offense guy, but Vrabel brings accountability and strong leadership. I'd take Ben Johnson or Gruden over Vrabel, but those likely aren't happening, so, yeah.
Let’s not forget how Mike Singletary ( HoF ) didn’t work out in SF … Glenn was here under different ownership. Not sure if he would like Woody. After all, Belichick was once a Jets coach but once Woody took over, he hated the Jets
So honestly vrabel or someone with experience would be my first choice…out of the list I think cohen would be a good choice he comes from the mcvay tree and i think that could help develop a QB
Why not Vrabel as HC & Glenn as GM? Glenn has history as a player & scout for the Org, then why not start getting homegrown people that know what they are getting into with the org & Owner? Then hire Rex as the DC!!!😉
hey ian , one name for head coach that was a real hot ticket last year ,who seems to be under the radar now is eric bienemy who was fired by ucla after just 1 season. i am not sure if he's up to h.c. status , but how about off. coord. instead of hackett ,granted his ucla bruins weren't good this year, but he spent 8 years under andy reid & knows what it takes to win super bowls
Bienemy as a head coach with this team is a no go, he is another zombie like Saleh and bowles, will be the same zoo. In terms of OC not so sure, he did play with DC, but with KC it is hard to say he was the OC,given Reid does all the game planning.
Glen, Ben, Flores, Vrabel are my top 4 Arthur smith, Matt Nagy, Matt Patricia, Matt Canada, Luke Getsy, Josh McDaniels, Anthony Lynn, Bill O’Brien and Joe Barry, are all hell no (have to cover the whole do not fly list) Stefanski and McDaniel are my 2 that could be fired that i want
Detroit is owned by Ford, they’d be crazy to let their coaches go over $ ! *Jets could have had Sean Payton but didn’t even interview him. duh!! They need to hire an *Offensive minded coach and a great Defensive Co. You can almost count on them screwing this up, especially w/ Tannebaum involved! * They need to hire an entire Team of coaches, from GM on down thru training staff etc. etc. 🏈
Arthur Smith, and Bobby Slowik have Adam Gase 2.0 written ALLL OVER Them. Ben Johnson is going to go somewhere where there is a young QB. Becht and Weaver are hard no's for me. Vrabel i think is going to New Orleans, or the Cowboys. Aaron Glenn makes a ton of sense. So does Liam Coen, with Mike Greenberg as the GM. I could also see Glenn, and Agnew coming in as HC, and GM. When you rank the Openings or potential HC Openings and you list them . I think from best to worst are. 1) Bears, 2)Raiders, 3)Jaguars, 4)Saints, 5)Jets, 6) Cowboys.
The only positions better than the jets are the bears and maybe the jags. Jets are better than everyone else. The raiders have no QB and are in the same division as Reid/Mahomes, Harbaugh/Herbert, and Sean Payton. Good luck winning in that division. The saints and cowboys are in cap hell and the cowboys are stuck with Dak while the saints are flat out bad and have no long term solution at QB.
I like Vrabel, playoff experience which is the goal and rebuild experience which is what we need to reach said goal. I'd prefer a offensive guy but that's unrealistic because the best offensive guys like Ben Johnson wouldn't ever come here.
Im not hung up on offense/ defense. New guy/ retread. Good coaches in all forms. Excited to see how we mess it up though
I doubt Woody Johnson will change his ways. It will be extremely difficult finding a good head coach.
We’re gonna hire A special teams coach!
Woody will tell Tannenbaum and the 33rd Team, "Please help me find a good GM and a good HC that will both work cheap."
need a culture fix. thats mike vrabel. but remember when john robinson got rid of aj brown... vrabel's reaction said it all. he wont go if he has some kind of power. like shanahan. he is not the gm but he has the final say. the other guy should be ben johnson. but he stayed with the lions because he will wait for the best situation. i dont think the jets will appeal to him.... plus he is the no.1 hot candidate in the nfl... he will chose a team not the other way around.
A Patriot being the one to lead the Jets out of the darkness would be hilariously poetic.
I like Aron Glen. Lions are built right.
Ive heard he ranks high among the list especially since hes a former player here
Mike Vrabel is my my guy for the Jets I said it last season when they first mentioned his name
As time goes by I think I personally want Aaron Glenn- former Jet and helped create that turnaround in Detroit.
Rexxxxxxxxxxx!!!!!
Hey Ian I'm glad you brought the old intro back that's a lot better keep up the great work! 🏈🏈🏈
Or Vrabel who knows Daboll from NE days. Good combo.
Vrabel gives us instant credibility! I wanted him last offseason!
As Always... Good Job!
Hope you're okay Ian! Been a couple days since you posted. A break from the media is always needed, for the right reasons anyway!
yoooo my guy brought back the OG theme 🔥
im in on vrabel
@JetsCentral....it doesn't surprise me, you didn't make a video yesterday. I think at this point, all Jets fans are beyond frustrated!
In a crappy time of the seqson. Im sure making a video aint easy. This was a great video.
I can't wait to see what direction we lean towards once we can start interviewing these guys ✈️
Becht going from the radio booth next to Bob to Head Coach would be the most crazy, Jet-like shit ever lol.
That's certainly a group of candidates. Like most Jets fans, I'd prefer Vrabel, but we shouldn't throw all our eggs into that basket alone. Cogen and Glenn offer intriguing options provided they can put together a solid staff. The gm selection will be the ultimate tell.

I’m against another rookie D Coordinator for the Jets’ HC position. Vrabel is an exception as he’s already proven himself as a good HC in charge of his team. But please coordinate this move with the new GM.
Fans hate Arthur Smith, but I think he will cook with this roster, especially if he brings in Fields as a bridge.
Fields would be an excellent bridge.
Aaron Glenn was one of my favorite Jets growing up. So I have a lot of bias in wanted him to be the Jets Next Head coach!
Mike vrabel is my 2nd favourite head coach in the nfl
you make good points but also think you sell short some of what the jets have on the offensive side of the ball.
Thanks for the update 🫡👍
who was the last jets coach who wasn't previously a hc or coordinator?
herm i believe in 01. he was tampa secondary coach i believe
I think if they keep A. Rodgers, next season, they're going for a defensive minded HC. If I had to pick Rex Ryan because players play hard for him. His brother Rob Ryan coaches with the raiders, so I don't think he'll be too outdated with schemes.
Ben Johnson 😊
He ain’t coming over here 😂 he ain’t that stupid
Nobody loves the New York Jets like Rex!
The reality is that I'm pretty sure they want to nail down the GM first (understandably) and we still have a whopping FIVE football games left to play under Ulbrich... we're gonna be seeing these videos for months boys lol
good intro music for news like this
I think Vrable or Flores is a no brainer. They had bad teams playing good for them and the Jets fit that discription.
Vrabel is the obvious choice, but surprised Brian Flores was not mentioned!
If you cannot get Vrabel, Aaron Glenn would be my choice. Played for the Jets for 8 years. One of the best ever Jet defensive backs. Played under Parcells. Just might be the guy to bring the Jets back to relevance.
It should be Vrabel, Rex or Ben Johnson in that order
Brian Flores , Vrabel or Rex. Top 3 choices for me
Liam Coen is a great shout. I thought Dave Canales was great but the Bucs offence has been even better under Coen and he’s developed some really good players this year.
Eric bienemy got fired today… would you want him to join the jets offensive staff?
Todd Monken should be a high priority on the list too
#1 Vrabel
#2 Glenn
#3
#4
#5
#6
#7 Everybody Else
Mike Vrabel!
that opening theme is like the white helmet jets 🤌
Aaron Glenn or Brian Flores would be great!
Flores yes, Glenn no way
Lions have arguably the Best O-line,
RB Tandem and the perfect QB to run Ben Johnsons schemes
Watch Goff's ball fakes on pitch outs and play action
also Jared Goff is one of the most accurate passers in the NFL
I'm in Michigan and see Ben all the time in interviews,
as an OC Johnson is a really low key quiet X and O's tactician,
his personality and skillset doesn't always translate to HC IMHO
The Jet fan base has checked out. Literally no mention of Jets Dolphins this week. I've never seen so little talk on jets dolphins.
Why? Season is over..win or lose.. I’ll be rooting hard on Sunday while lowkey hoping we lose 🤷🏻♂️
That’s because we are gonna lose. No sauce. Why should I think we will win this game?
I, for one, am excited about this game. Will this be the fake injury game for AR, or do we have more hijinks and shenanigans to come?
Who will jets bring in as GM. ?
Vrabel, Aaron Glenn and Anthony Lynn is intriguing
U obviously don’t know football look at Lynn’s history
The same Anthony Lynn that underachieved with a talented Chargers roster and did absolutely nothing as the Lions offensive coordinator after that? What games are you watching?
Anthony Lynn? Good god no, he makes Saleh look like lombardi
1. Vrabel
2. Johnson
3. Rex
4. Flores
5. Kirby Smart (UGA)
Better question. WHY would many of these Coaches want to work for the JETS? I would HIRE the Person that proves worth it and REALLY wants to be the Coach. Like REX
@chickgeorge2341
Im not against Rex at all.
That's why he's on my list.
Just as long as the new GM has say in the offensive coordinator.
If Vrabel is actually interested, I hope we get him. He's another defensive guy but compared to Saleh he's also a great leader and game manager. Saleh was a great guy but felt like he was a speech, motivation guy.
I'd like a proven HC for the Jets. I would want Joe Johnson but, I think Jets job would be tough. Gruden and Vrabel if available
GM hires the coach.
Any potential coaches list is absolutely meaningless without first hiring a qualified competent GM.
I prefer to wait until the end of the season ...before any speculation.
Out of Those Candidates Vrabel would be my prefered Option. And some Part of me would like to see Rex Ryan again. 😆
I'm all in for bringing back Rex but I wouldn't be mad if we hired Mike vrabel
All great candidates, I'm open to any of these honestly
Vrabel
With our lack of discipline I would lean towards a hard nosed approach..Vrabel or Flores …
Why is Gruden not on Cimini's list?
I really feel like aaron glenn is gonna be a good head coach. We cant be afraid he will be like Saleh.
Vrabel needs a qb which the jets don’t have
Brian Flores should get an interview
Can Aaron Glen put together a staff for the offensive side of the ball?
Tom Brady coaching Aaron Rodgers would be a fun(ny)
Vrabel's cool, if you think another defensive guru is the way I'd prefer an established offense guy, but Vrabel brings accountability and strong leadership. I'd take Ben Johnson or Gruden over Vrabel, but those likely aren't happening, so, yeah.

Grudy!
As long as the HC is a Offense coordinator and not a defensive Hc
It doesn't matter (we still suck) as long as Woody Johnson is involved in football decisions. All he should be doing is signing paychecks 😂
couldnt agree more re: defensive coaches
Eric Bieniemy just became available for a possible OC position. On to Miami
Glen, Ben, Flores, Vrabel are my top 4
Arthur smith, Matt Nagy, Matt Patricia, Matt Canada, Luke Getsy, Josh McDaniels, Anthony Lynn, Bill O’Brien and Joe Barry, are all hell no (have to cover the whole do not fly list)
Stefanski and McDaniel are my 2 that could be fired that i want
I think Aaron Glen would complement the locker very well. We need a younger energetic head coach to lead our young players
Get Mike
Rex Ryan he’s gonna be a hard ass on the jet❤❤
I'm sorry guys . I want a guy that wants to be here. No new guy. One that has fire... Rex WILL MAKE THIS DEFENSE TOP 5 EASILY. IT'S A NO BRAINER
Detroit is owned by Ford, they’d be crazy to let their coaches go over $ !

Brian Flores is not included? That is a mistake. They need to interview Brian Flores for the job.
Dream scenario for me is Ben Johnson hc drafting will campbell and waiting for arch manning next year
Another stupid comment and take. Do you even watch football?
Head coach ben johnson
Defensive coordinator dennis allen
If the jets hire bill, I give up on being a fan
I F Mike Mcarthy goes from the Cowboys we keep Rodgers and bring in MCarthy ! Big Reunion that would be awesome!
Please no more first time head coaches no on the job training this team needs a proven head coach
I LIKE Spagnolo, but, he's an ex- Giant dc, would that eliminate him?
We need vrabel bad
Why is nobody saying, Brian Flores?
Rex ryan or Aaron Glen should be the only options. they are vested in jets into the jets family. The have the drive to wanna win for us
Vrabel or Glen. I'd actually like to kick the tires on Flores. I'm not sold on Ben Johnson. Don't know much about the guy from the Bucs
vrabel would be a huge get
I absolutely want an offensive coach because the Jets need to develop a QB.
DROP MERCH
Ian do whatever you can to reach out to Gary vee and have him on the channel. He's been wanting to buy the team forever
bezos was also listed as a potential buyer for the team if woody decides to sell
he’s in the market for a sports franchise
Jon Gruden. I think he can reset the Jets and build them up.
Gruden is a racist
The majority of the fans want Rex Ryan, who would you say has the better defense?
Pete Carroll HC Eric beienimy OC let’s ride
I like Vrabel, playoff experience which is the goal and rebuild experience which is what we need to reach said goal. I'd prefer a offensive guy but that's unrealistic because the best offensive guys like Ben Johnson wouldn't ever come here.
Jets should be going for Kellen Moore or Joe Brady tbh if not vrabel, Glenn they literally interviewed in 2021 when he was still our dbs coach 💀
If u want someone from DA’s tree go ahead, but Glenn’s got a limited upside to him
