I actually got the platinum and Intergrade DLC for the game not too long ago, and despite and it probably overstayed it's welcome with the Dressed to The Nines trophy and Ultimate Weapon trophy (like Bahamut was REALLY difficult) I still enjoyed the game overall and when the 100% popped up, I didn't regret a single moment of it all
Literally had the same thing happen to me with pride and joy. Aerith and Cloud were down and only Tifa was left. She had like 20 HP left but i still won. Never been more focused on something in my life
It's crazy how this popped up as a suggestion right after I purchased rebirth yesterday. The interesting part is, I actually got the remake earlier this year (ff7 is my all-time favorite final fantasy). I had grand plans to platinum it, and after finishing my initial playthrough, I was so close to achieving that. I only need 17 more trophies like completing the game on hard, finishing all side quests (I made sure to do each one except the chocobo sam quests for the wallstreet section, and getting the johnny scene for the trophy), and some miscellaneous trophies like mastering all weapon abilities (that one is simple, I just loved the iron sword and stuck with it most of the game), learning all enemy skills (I was almost there, just missing like 2 or 3 more), and the dreaded darts trophy. I swear, darts is my biggest nemesis in this game. It's not that I'm bad at darts - I'm actually pretty good at it in almost every other game that has it. But in ff7 remake? It's like the game is out to get me. Even with a RUclips guide showing the easiest way to get it, I still can't hit all those consecutive shots. The game mechanics work against you, even if you move slowly. So, I had to take a break from it. But I do plan on returning someday and achieving the platinum for this game. As for rebirth? No chance. It's way too much of a grind for me to enjoy. Those mini-games give me PTSD for something I haven't even experienced yet. It's impressive that you managed to platinum both of them though, so kudos to you! Consider me a new follower of your channel.
Can't wait to see you got for the plat in rebirth also the fact that we are going to have to start at square 1 is annoying but understandable with the only thing we get being leviathan and ramuh for clear date for the base game and intergraged
That magic build for cloud and aerith with tifa being a ATB feeder actually is an amazing strat. Arcane Ward with Aerith, let Tifa True Strike for more stagger % and stuff MELTS....
For the hard mode trophy , did you start a new game or you sleeted chapter 1 on hard ? I started chapter 1 and finished it but i dont want to continue until I make sure
The trophy requirement is actually just to “complete each chapter on hard” so you should be fine and to be honest if you wanted to you could even skip around chapters via chapter select. The trophy will pop as long as each is completed on hard atleast once.
Wait you platinum the game on PS4 and it made you get it all again? When I got the PS5 version it auto imported all my stuff and the platinum before I even got off the opening screen.
I bought a physical copy of the European version of intergrade, when I did the ps4 version it was an NA copy. So I couldn’t transfer my stuff. Which is fine because I love this game and wanted to redo it anyway :P
So I am conflicted on how I feel about this game, some parts was amazing and others were so tedious and boring, so many awful in game loading screens with no voices, harsh speed crawls and hand cranes
I think all those really slow crawls and squeeze sections are definitely a product of it being a ps4 game and needing to disguise load gates. Hopefully rebirth being a ps5 exclusive is absent of those
