Roman Gardens, Pepper Street. Chester Walls. May 1, 2024.

On a visit to Chester May 1st, 2024, I looked at the Roman Gardens just outside the city walls. They are a collection of pieces of pillars, mosaics and underfloor heating assembled together from various places in Chester. It is a very pleasant place and makes you think of our ancient history and the people who once walked where we walk now.
