Now, when it comes to my Pelicans there is no way in the world I am giving up Brandon Ingram who is a walking bucket, he has improved every single year, and when he is not in the lineup our offense and team as a whole struggles unfortunately. Furthermore, giving up Herb Jones is also off of the table. Herb Jones has defensive player of the year winning potential, his offensive game, his jumpshot, and his playmaking abilty are all only going to get better and he is a vital part of our young core. Larry Nance when healthy can guard all five positions, he can finish around the rim, he has great athleticism and he also played a vital role in turning around my favorite team's season. Next year my Pelicans are going to be dangerous they had a great draft adding Dyson Daniels, who is going to be a problem on the defensive end as well as with his passing ability, if he can improve his shot and be a consistent shooter to go along with the rest of his overall game I loved that selection. Then they added EJ Liddell, who is another verstaile player who can come in and be a dog on defense he has a great mid range game and when he works with coach Fred Vinson on his outside shot he has steal of the draft written all over him. Now, if KD was a free agent and he wanted to come here and they didn't have to give up anything to get him I would love having KD as a Pelican because with him Brandon Ingram, Herb Jones, Zion Trey Murphy JV and CJ Mccolum that team would be a team that nobody would want to see come playoff time and we would instantly be a championship winning team with Kevin Durant who is one of my favorite players and one of the greatest basketball players to ever step foot on a basketball court. But, I am not giving up any of our young core that we will have for the next 10-15 plus seasons for somebody who never had the Pelicans on his list and then the minute that he's not happy or, if they don't win immediately he'd ask out we just got back to being a live franchise after the AD mess and what other people are missing is that for the first time in a long time we have a great deal of both depth and talent and we have players who actually want to play here for a change.
