I had no idea this was never released for radio play because it was played on the radio all the time! Wonder is truly a wonder, a world treasure.

The same daughter Stevie’s singing about on this record is the same exact daughter that is one of his background singers. I’ve been to his live concerts and her expression when they do this song is priceless.

You can ALWAYS tell when Stevie plays harmonica on anyone else's records, and he's done plenty. His sound is unmistakable. Thank's for the show of appreciation you display for these song's. Feel's like we're all apart of a secret cub, the one's that "get it", always a good time here. Thank's!

on 10/12/77 I gave birth to my oldest daughter. This song was on in the delivery room at the exact time she was born! Dr and nurses started singing along. Back then we didn't know what sex the baby was so it was absolutely perfect for the delivery.
What great memories this song holds for me.

I was like 10 yrs old when this came out and I loved singing along to it. Yes, "Songs In The Key of Life" is one the greatest and is up there with Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" album as being among the greatest albums ever recorded and an essential part of the 70s.
I told someone one time that the 70s were hard times for many families but that the music made it easier to cope.

This album is the Masterpiece by Stevie Wonder 🙌. He composed all the songs and played almost all the instruments on the album. He also produced the album as well. Stevie Wonder is my all-time artist....I loved him from 1965 to now 2023. ❤ I am so glad you liked the album and this song. Wait until you hear my favorite song on the album entitled, "As"....it's a real banger and very deep!!!

Stevie Wonder was my first concert. Was only 8 but was totally enthralled. Same year we also went to Tina Turner...what a fabulous time to be alive.

The ending always reminds me of if someone were to be putting his heart and soul into the harmonica they are playing under their crush's window at night! 😅🎉 ❤

I was in recovery with my firstborn - I had developed toxemia and we both nearly died (I didn't know this until later). They took my son away, immediately, and I was wheeled in to meet him about 6 hours later. No joke, this was the song that was playing in the room where I was. I held him and just cried while I rocked him back and forth. A VERY beautiful song...........

This is such a sweet sentimental song. This is from his 1976 album "Songs In The Key Of Life". Stevie Wonder wrote "Isn't She Lovely" to celebrate the birth of his daughter.
