  • Maravanthe Beach is a stunning stretch of white sand that extends for miles along the coast, earning it the nickname "Virgin Beach." The beach is also renowned for the stretch of the Konkan Highway that runs between the fresh waters of the Suparnika River and the Arabian Sea. Travelers from around the world regard this beach as one of the most beautiful in Karnataka.
While there are accommodations along the highway, the nearby town of Kundapura offers additional lodging options. Fishing is the primary livelihood in the area, with local fishermen using traditional boats and small diesel trawlers. During the monsoon season, seafaring is generally avoided. Agriculture also plays a significant role in the local economy, with coconut and paddy being the main crops grown in the region
