      I remember when I started using PS about 10 years ago. It was so frustrating to watch these tuts. I didn't even understand foreground and background color ! LOL. Now I can watch, understand and do it without taking notes and I am a 66 yr old Grandma. You'll get it. Honest. It will just take lots and lots of practice. For beginners, I think having the instructions written out, step by step is best. Good luck! :)

    Great tutorial, thank you so much. One question only. Can we transfer this sphere out of this canvas in another photo?

    • @dacee7943
      @dacee7943 3 года назад

      you can if you select the sphere and save it as a .png

    • @187designz
      @187designz 2 года назад

      you can make a group of the sphere, with the highlights and shadows layers and drag-n-drop it to another photo. just keep in mind, you have to readjust the highlights and shadows of the sphere to match the overall lighting of the new photo.

      First he CTRL Z’d to undo the oblong blob. Then he hit CTRL and clicked on Layer 1 to make the dotted circle around the sphere. Then you do the twist.

    I had a very surreal dream. There was a thick fog but then at a height of a few meters above us the water was turning into floating water balls, much like this picture. My friends and I were touching them and they would pop like bubbles and pour water on us. I googled this toturial to be able to illustrate the dream

    I've just had a thought while watching this tutorial; it's a bit picky though... How could a sphere project what is behind it onto the front facing side? Wouldn't it look better with an image of what is behind the photographer, then place it on the sphere to create a reflection. I know that would involve using your own images, having to record what is behind you, as well as in front..... unless that is, you use Google Street View to copy the scenes using the 'Print Screen' keyboard button to get a screen grab. Other wise a great video mate, made even better with commentary!!

    I have tried to follow this over and over, I find the accent too indistinct, ( sounds Newcastle?, annoying accent), the movements of the mouse too fast so after some time I've given up in a huff. try enunciating not mumbling, show each step, each mouse movement, give the audience time to digest each step before jumping to the next step.

      LOL I didn't even know he was speaking because I had my computer on mute. This is a very straight forward tutorial. I didn't find that he rushed the tutorial. If you are giving up in a huff, the problem might be that you are not really familiar with Photoshop?
