Notes:
1- Su-25 doesn't have laser pod in real life, it is just the HUD in pilot cockpit "zoomed in" when pressing toggle view button in WT, a way made by Gaijin to simulate the slewing of laser indicator from HUD. So, complaining about Sukhoi laser pod is irrelevant because it doesn't have one in real life. The pilot just use the HUD to strike big targets like hangars, factories and bridges using Kh-29\25 missiles.
2- Su-25 has landing chute but you need to activate it manually by a button in controls "chute".
3- For now you can't switch back to empty weapons pods to jettison them, you must jettison them before selecting the next weapon.
Su-25 has a nose mounted TV camera with laser. But not the model in game.

In fact here is the real story about what happened, as active small CC of WT I have the right to ask for 2 vehicles per month from Gaijin for free, so I mailed them and asked for the tech tree Su-25 variant because of 256 countermeasures, they apparently didn't read my message well haha, so they sent the premium one.
I didn't complain of course, I mean their support is great .. will unlock the tech tree Sukhoi using the premium Sukhoi :D

Hope this works. It was a pair of Su25s taking off from a Crimean air base, when one of them banked left and crashed for no apparent reason. The running theory is that it wasn’t properly maintained and there was a critical system malfunction.

This laser system is where having a good monitor and such comes very handy… it’s really hard to see at a safe distance because the zoom is so bad lol

Good deployment of air brakes entering into the attack profile; steadily scanning the surface for targets. Then hitting the deck after neutralising the target. Professional combat engagement. Nicely done.

Thanks a lot my friend, in desert storm Iraq had no good chance to use air-force, there was just very few air combat victories, maybe one by a MiG-29 and also MiG-25 Vs F-18, and I don't remember reading about significant air to ground attacks .. the gap of technology\training level was too big between the two conflicting sides, however the Su-25 saw combat during the Iran-Iraq War of 1980-88. The first Su-25s were commissioned by the Iraqi Air Force in 1987 and performed approximately 900 combat sorties towards the end of the war, carrying out the bulk of Iraqi air attack missions. The guys who made the camo did a great job, it is very beautiful but they should've used the old Iraqi flag of 80s, the one with three stars.

How do you slew the weapon/pod view so smoothly like that? I see it in all your videos. When I move my mouse even a little the designation point jumps feet instead of smoothly move. I've tried so many different mouse settings but it's always like that.

Oddly enough if you turn away plane from your locked position, the lock and laser designator stays still and Kh-25s can fly towards it. just make sure you dont accidentally switch to sight
It is wrongly designed I'm sure .. the aircraft nose should stay on target until the impact moment then pull off. It does not make sense with its current situation.

Hello my friend, personally I don't bring 9.7 jets in 11.0 .. so if I were in your situation I wouldn't get it if I have Su-7BMK or BKL, will just grind the tech tree one with more CM than premium one and same capabilites .. but if you don't have CAS jets for 9.7 then get it.

Using third person camera is way more accurate and easier to see than with the targeting camera
Yeah, you have to keep spamming "Sight stabilization" button on a moving target, I just like the smooth slewing more .. doesn't mean it is better, it is just looks more beautiful for the videos haha 😂
@@Hunter_i86 I get most of my kills on AA in their spawn, otherwise I just communicate with my team to hit targets that are being suppressed behind cover

Idk exactly where to find it but in the control setup there's a search bar at the top. Try searching jettison or something to find it

It is good when you are just gaming but as soon as when i check my shadowplay it looks bit weird on the youtube and Pr. I should find the balanced resolution between my pleasure and video quality, maybe i should try your resolution as well
Do you guide it manually or does it lock on? Because this is the first time I have seen this kind of HUD in warthunder.
This type of targetting only tracks the ground position you lock it onto.
You have to manually move the cursor to hit moving targets, the Kh29L has lots of HE so it kind of compensates for the lack of tracking.
@@dowmein Oh, I am still unlocking it. It is interesting that it has its own HUD, but no cockpit view yet.
@@chocolat-kun8689 It's like that because the standard Su25 does not use a targetting pod with a camera, the guidance view you get ingame is meant to represent the holographic HUD inside the cockpit.
Guided manually, also Su-25 doesn't have laser pod in real life, it is just the HUD in pilot cockpit "zoomed it" when pressing toggle view button in WT (While carrying laser weapons), a way made by Gaijin to simulate the slewing of laser indicator from HUD. The pilot just use the HUD to strike big targets like hangars, factories and bridges using Kh-29\25 missiles in real life. Also you can test fly the premium Su-25k with any weapon you like, carry laser missiles and press toggle view button :)

What are your keybinds for drones? I have a hard time figuring out how to use them
It’s similar to a heli rather than a plane. Unless you mean the UCAV, those are wonky like bi-planes without a vertical stabilizer so it’s almost like a mini flying wing but slower.
Same buttons for Jaguar or MiG-27 for example. Sight stabilization button.

When I empty my rocket pods, it automatically changes for the next weapon system, so I can't jettison them because as you wrote, you can't come back on an empty secondary weapon system. How can I change that ?

Hello my friend, it depends on what ground units you have .. also I heard premium A-10 might go up to 10.0 soon. A-10 has better guided weapons and Su-25 is much faster and aggressive.

I dont see how you were able to get anywhere near the objectives without getting ass blasted from 3 different AA. Def a skill issue on my end. Can you post some full gameplay? New to ground attackers but not fighters, if you can believe it I've never used one since the game has launched

This is not a pod, it is literally the cockpit HUD zoomed in and full screened.
The zoom on that laser pod is garbage,along with the angle that you must maintain to use it.
