That was a lovely video. She was beautiful, married someone she loved, and then died horribly. Nooo! Well, her kindness, beauty, and grace will be remembere through her children and Sweden.
All her children Are dead now. Her furst born, Gustaf Adolf (in the famili Edmund) died in a plan crash 1947 when his son - whom is our king now - was only 8 month old. She was also grandma to Queen Margrethe of Denmark, as told in the video.
Princess/ Crown Princess Margaret is the paternal grandmother of our king Carl XVI Gustaf, and she was very loved in Sweden. Sadly she didn´t live to be queen. She died in 1920, and her husband became king in 1950, after his grandfathers (Gustav V:s) long rule. By then Gustav VI Adolf was since long married to another British princess -Louise of Mountbatten - who became queen alongside her husband the king. Gustav VI Adolf and Louise were the royal couple here in Sweden when I was born in 1964.💗 Margaret designed part of a large park in Malmö, (south Sweden) for the Baltic Exposition 1914. In the park is a pavilion in her memory where I one autumn night in October 2005 almost had some kind of a mystic experience. It was lit upp in the middle of the dark autumn night of the park. I was in the dark park and walked to the pavilion, and inside I think some of her dresses was on exposition. In some way it felt like she was there or not far away. It, I don´t know how to describe it, was like light and warmth radiated out of that pavilion. It felt wam and wellcoming in some way. A calm feeling, and quietness in the middle of a large city.
