I went to Korea on a solo trip for 3 whole months about a year ago and I miss it every day. This video made me miss it even more, but inspired me to work even harder to go back faster! Hopefully I’ll be back in Seoul again soon, experiencing the nightlife I miss so much.
I find this kind of videos very amusing and relaxing if one could say, as someone who only dreams about traveling to South Korea and Japan, just being able to see the "night life" as if I myself am walking there is a such unique and great feeling, thank you so much for recording this!

Isn't this area considered the foreign area? I thought American GIs usually hang out here? Kind of like Shibuya in Japan? I've never been to either places but it seems most YT vids show these areas with plenty of foreigners.

Spent a lot of weekends on that street lol. Was stationed in Korea in 20010-2012 and took a 3 hour train almost every weekend up Seoul. God I miss that country ❤
@@michaellim4165 i was there 2013 - 2015 and we were not allowed to go outside of itewon....that does not mean we did not go lmaooooooooooooo fuck that we were at hongdae every other weekend and on 4 day weekend for sure

Honestly looks like a good time. In the city i live in (which is our state capital) there's only like 5 clubs and they are like a 10 min walk or drive away from each other and the police make the nightclubs stagger their closing times so that theres no fighting/ gun violence in the streets. It's pretty cool that here in hongdae you can just walk down the street and go in the club playing the music you like instead of having to plan out your night ahead of time.

Perhaps, behind the camera or had given up when the friend showed up to help. Just my observation.
