It is very essential to have effective communication across the board! Style is EVERYTHING!!! Clear is kind. We must change the old way of doing business for them to work well in the workplace. ❤

I really like your analysis of different ways of communicating within generations! Most places I've worked at where i live from 2018-2022, they don't' communicate at all. So maybe it happens in offices but I did not work in offices. Also questions are discouraged from my supervisors in both the physical /online workplace its why I am reticent to talk now. These are gen x and they just want you to do your work don't dare ask a question out of curiosity or to clarify, and that's how I learn. I do think it is based on cultural norms where one lives as well, though. In California we used fewer words and spoke super fast, here in rural Oregon there's lots of talking "around" things and they talk so slow I have to change how I speak! stay shiny

@@Mel_Flips_It In the south a lot of stuff go on that I may talk about but I have experienced the attitude of not asking questions. They just want you to do as they say and figure it out. I hope you have a great day and appreciate you for commenting Melissa. Shine Bright Always ⭐️💕🥰

Gen Zs grew up in the TikTok era and Millennials grew up in the Facebook era. Some of my Gen Zs friends couldn't really go to their prom and graduation day in 2020-2022. Having young mature adult friends kept me motivated and active too because 40 is coming around the corner for me in 2029. My friend is already in his early 40s and my sister is leaving them 20s next year. Chris Brown and Taylor Swift are my age since they're late 80s baby. Thank you again Regina, I always enjoy your channel. You have a great weekend and be safe.

1980s are what we considered Xillennials means that they're Gen X mixed with Millennial traits. 1996s are Zillennials means Gen Z with some Millennial traits in them. 1964 are basically Boomer/X means that they're Baby Boomers with Gen X traits in them. Gen Z and Millennials don't want to hear a history lesson what happened back in 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s era. We care about hear and now. I enjoyed commenting in the chat Regina.

Gen X a little further north, like DC,Md, Detroit area, is different. Many of us don’t tolerate the BS from the managers and no one else, that also includes Gen Z’s. I’ve also had many jobs, and don’t regret it, but I don’t tip toe around Gen Z’s either, because I have also worked around many of my them, I’m physically demanding workplaces, and they just cannot perform. Many that I’ve worked with in those type workplaces, that require physical work, they try and get out of it/ run from it.

I don't interact much with people in customer service, but I kept up some small talk while a store worker was ringing in my keyboard even though he had this disgusted unhappy expression & barely spoke, but he tried, this dude was younger than me but misery he looked like he saw jabba the hut when he looked in the mirror. At the end of the day, no one cares about what a certain generation "likes".... People are getting laid-off left and right... Tactful principles are across the board no matter what age... Focus on the principles and learn to coexist with each other and their differences in a tactful manner 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
