Talking about the glasses, when I was in the fifth grade the same thing happened to me. Being a kid I just didn't realize I couldn't see well, but it was sure different when I got the glasses. I think gradually losing your vision it's not as noticeable. I'm glad you got that taken care of.

Here is my recipe for Chicken Tortilla Soup. I sweat some onion and garlic in olive oil then add 1 carton chicken broth or as much as you want then 1 can rotel tomatoes, 1 can chili tomatoes, 1 can sweet corn (don't need to drain just dump), 1 can black beans (just dump), optional 1 can chili beans, 1 package taco seasoning 3 large chicken breast. I will simmer for 4 hours in a crockpot or 1 hour at a slight boil on the stove. I then take the chicken out and shred and put back in. Then top with shredded mexican cheese, sour cream, fresh avocado and tortilla chip strips. It is delicious

Ok, so I make the best pumpkin bread. I don’t have a blog but it is a great recipe and my kids ask for it all the time. Try my recipe for moist and sweet pumpkin bread. It can also be topped with a sweetened cream cheese icing. Pumpkin Bread 1 cup all purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup vegetable oil 2 large eggs, at room temperature 1 cup pure pumpkin puree 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup light brown sugar Whisk all dry ingredients together. Then whisk together all the wet ingredients and combine wet to dry. Bake in a lined loaf pan at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes. I hope you try! Enjoy Magic Dads!
Great video! After hearing your story about the failed pumpkin bread reminded me about my Great Pumpkin Pie failure. I used to make pumpkin pies every year and one day a few years ago, I was making pies. I was so careful measuring my ingredients, making the crust, assembling the pies and getting them in the oven. They came out beautiful. The best pies I had ever made. All the while, I had this nagging feeling I had forgotten something. As the pies were cooling, it dawned on me. I forgot to add the sugar to the recipe. My friend and I figured, oh well, how bad could it be? Well they were AWFUL. No amount of whipped cream could save them, so they ended up in the trash. To this day, I haven't lived that one down. Every year someone always says Remember the year ... You can bet I never made that mistake again.

Omg! My boyfriend got those shredding claws several months ago. He makes shredded chicken and pork all the time. And as soon as he opened them, he held them up and said “I’m wolverine”, and I just rolled my eyes. And then he looked at the directions, the first thing it says is do not use these clause as wolverine clause. Lol boy did they know men would use them and immediately think of wolverine 😂😂😂
I feel like I'm the odd one out when it comes to Pumpkin Bread- I really really like to taste the nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon but most of the people in my family (aside from my mom) want it to be more sweet. Anyways I'm with you Mike on this being such a great food season (I don't get to do a lot of baking, but I love to make homemade candy and fudge, jams and jellies this time of year!)
