    Great tips as usual! When I drive in narrow roads I do the same as you mentioned, when judging if my vehicle can fit, moving slow and looking in the middle of my lane. One thing I'd like to add that may help others is when I know I'm clear to go through, I take small looks in my side mirrors to see how close I am to some vehicles as I'm going in between these cars. It's really useful especially if you got lines you can watch, then if I see another vehicle taking up room on the side I'll know how much room I have to steer away from that vehicle. As a new driver, looking in the side mirrors has helped gauge how big my vehicle is to, so I know if I'll be safe.

    I am a learner, I just concluded my driving school and believe me your video has been the best in RUclips. Today I drove for the first time on a busy road. I drove to the mall, I parked but reversing was hell 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢.
    I am home now, i have packed in the garage, I don't know how to reverse when I intend driving out again. You've got a huge fan from Nigeria 🇳🇬

      Umm Naveed my teacher plays like I know most of the stuff! He let me reverse and turn the vehicle back to where we were coming from without watching me or instructing me!!!! I think he does this intentionally just to get my adrenaline rush and expel the fear of driving.
      I rely on training from this wonderful teacher here on RUclips and I've learnt quite a lot. I've also learnt a lot over the years from drivers in every vehicle I travel in. (the dedication and wish to drive one day)
      Now that's why my teacher just let's me drive without much instructions or over watch!
      I keep it here on this channel to keep learning until I become a pro which is through experience as our wonderful RUclips teacher always says in his videos.
      I enjoy our RUclips teacher's accent too. That's another big reason I'm his student!!

      The best thing to know is that when reversing it is not like in video games. The controls aren't inverted, so whichever way you turn the wheel is the way your car will go.

      Umm Naveed oh of course anything to make driving safer for fellow drivers.

    • @emperror85
      @emperror85 6 лет назад

      My teacher refused to teach reference points for reversing and for parking. His point was that if you can drive forwards, you can drive in reverse. There's really not much of a difference. Just turn your head, and pretend your rear window is the car's front. You still move in the direction your hands move, you still tend to swirve in the direction you look, and you still go "forwards" when pressing the gas. Once you get this concept, parallel parking and reversing around corners come naturally, without needing to rely on reference points. And as always: if in doubt, slow down.

    to stay in the center in a road where cars are parked on both sides (that never ending train of cars on both sides) , what I do is I use visual evasion or that's what I call it of the cars on the side of my driver seat (mostly left side), I simply glide closer to the left side and make sure I keep evading the car parked , by being too close to one side I guarantee I'm even farther away from the other side , so as long as I'm too close to the left side and not hitting the car, there is no way I might hit the car on the other side because that car would be farther from my car than the other car, imagine if you do this for the entire train of cars parked on both side, that's what I do, but I need to be rather slow and careful, it is working fine so far.

    • @ConduiteFacile
      @ConduiteFacile  5 лет назад

      I actually will talk about that in my next video, but in another situation.

    • @toothlessnightfury1820
      @toothlessnightfury1820 5 лет назад

      @@ConduiteFacile that would be great thank you, cause I'm sure you're probably the only person who could understand what I'm talking about , the idea is abit complicated for me to explain it in a post and you could demonstrate much better, but this technique helped me beat my fair of these long trains of cars on both sides of the road, so I believe it would help beginner.
