Best review I could find online, without being bias. Great review I already put down on a brand new 2021 GTI SE 130 that I will be getting in the Spring of 2021. Good job bro👍🏼👍🏼
That was a fair and objective overview on the main packages that Seadoo offers. I’m in the market for a ski right now and this video helped tremendously. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful! Good luck on your future purchase
Well put together video! Good job! Been looking for a good review video to make my mind up and this one totally covered all my questions!
This is an awesome video thanks for the time you put in!!!
Good review, clear, simple and honest. Good job bro!
Appreciate the kind words!!
Considering a purchase now, video really helped. Good stuff man
Glad I could help!!
Perfect video my man. These are the units I am looking at, thanks for the great content!
Glad to help!
Great video! Thanks so much for making this!!
Nice comprehensive comparison. I am interested in the Spark Trixx as I have a Kawi 300 & 250. My family is intimidated by the 300 which I enjoy for the speed however coming from the 80's and X2 650 or JS models these gargantuan boats are less playful. The Spark might fill that void. Thanks again for the sharing.
Thank you for the awesome review. I learned alot.
Thanks for the review man! This was really helpful
Appreciate it. Glad it was helpful! You gonna pick one up soon? summer is coming fast haha
Good review. I couldn’t afford a newer 4 stroke without taking a loan. I got two seadoos and they are 90s 2 strokes. I got a 96 spi and I bought a 96 gti. I love seadoo and being out on the water
This is bang on. I've owned the RXT-X, GTI, Trixx, RX-DI, GTS... etc... what did I buy in 2021? Two Trixx.... one 2up and one 3up. Never been more excited to get on the water - windy? Awesome.... calm? Awesome.... doesn't matter the weather, if you're looking for fun, the Trixx is the way to go. I still have my RXT-X for touring, but if I'm going out for fun - the Trixx is the way to go.
I was looking at the Trixx 2 up vs 3up and was wondering if the 3 up takes the sportiness out of it because I would want to be able to bring friends but if the extra length and weight takes out the fun then I would probably get the 2up so since you have both does it take away the sportiness?
@@sixfootpool4624 to be honest, I went into the purchase of the Trixx originally for just one "off the wall" fun machine to go with my RXT-X, and ended up using my Trixx so much, that I needed another one for my friends to use cause I tended to use it over my rxt-x... which isn't as maneuverable as the trixx is... so less fun for others that just want to have a good time. I went with the 2Up first, cause I felt it was the most sporty of the two. When I searched for a second one, because of the scarcity of Seadoos last year, I couldn't buy another 2UP and found a great deal on a 3UP with only 10 hours on it.... so I scooped it up. There is literally no difference between the two when it comes to anything but boarding. The 3UP is easier to board. If I had to do it over again, I'd get two 3UPs. :) Hope this helps! I've never been more excited for the summer... and it's cause of my Trixxs.
Thx 💯 Definitely needed that Tour being new to this ski world
Great review, I was on the fence about the Spark..I also saw that tuning is available which is great...I’m gonna buy 2 Sparks
Thanks
Thank you for the detailed review.
Great summary, learned a lot!
Thank you dude
Thank you so much for the videos! I have been contemplating getting one for a couple of years. I just ordered a 2022 Trixx with the sound system!! I’m excited thank you!!
Great vid! I have the front storage bin on my 19 spark. It fits rope, Gatorade, the snap in fenders and the seadoo bail bucket that comes with rope, whistle and flashlight. I keep the whistle in the little compartment and put my phone, wallet and keys in the orange bailing bucket and put that in the front storage bin. The spark gets loads of attention on the water especially if you put the trim all the way up and do quick turns and wheelies. I get more attention on my spark vs my GTX. The GTX is so boring compared to the spark. Cheaper, more fun and reliable.
Yeah I just caved in and ordered the front storage bin so I'm going to install it when it comes in. The trixx definitely gets people's attention especially with how easily it comes out of the water.
Great video that seems to cover it all. Thanks!
Thanks for the great video. Loved it!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great info man covered very well! 👍 subbed
Great review! Thanks!
Great info man - thanks for the video!
Glad it was helpful!
great video, good infomation and video of the skis in use
nice video, i'm a begginer and looking to cruise so with this video I'm leaning on the 130, thanks
Ive owned 2 RXT-X 260s and an RXPX-300. The 300 is my favorite ski of all time. Ive also owned a spark and im going to pick up a Spark Trixx next week. They are seriously the funnest skis you can buy. Bulletproof motors, great on gas and you can send them to the moon when wave jumping.
What do you recommend for a beginner?
Can you pull a tube behind a Trix tho?
Matthew Kern I was gonna ask the same thing
Matthew Kern probably doesn’t go that fast with a tube tbh
yes, most states require a 3up legally though because you need a spotter on there as well. But it definitely can tow watersports no problem
Thanks for the comparison!
No problem!
the spark "convenience package" includes a front storage bin but there's definitely nothing waterproof on that ski
Sooo don’t flip it?
@Race Card I know that’s why I put a question mark obviously ur gonna flip a ski
@@knuclebros3335 I just flipped mine with my phone in the center console and it had some moister in it. Just put it in a ziplock bag and then into the center console and it’s water proof
Mines fine. If I wanna okay I take stuff out. Difficult concept I understand
Great video, just picked up the 2020 GTI SE 130 and love it! My only regret is not getting the speakers!
Good choice! Yeah I can't lie, I wish I had the 2020 and would of loved to upgrade for the speakers on the gti.
just buy a JBL charge or flip 4 model, they fit nicely on the ski handle bars with a Velcro strap. Much cheaper alternative with great sound, waterproof and Bluetooth :)
Great vid helped me make my mind up 👍🏻
Glad I could help
Great Video Bro, Appreciate Your Time.
Any time! Thank you
Great review! Just gave you your 100th like :) I can't get my Spark Trixx just yet because all it's missing is the trailer and they are backordered at the factory thanks to this friggin' Covid thing :( Water is still cold here in Quebec so it's not that bad but I just can't wait to go pick this thing up!
Thank you so much, that 100th like looks good!! That sucks that you got to wait for the trailer because of covid. I feel your pain though, my dry dock for the marina is on back order still because the factory had closed down because of covid. I recommend a nice wet suit so you can ride in the water even when it's cold because this thing is a blast.
Great video !! I'm looking the Spark .
My ALL TIME favorite is the Seadoo XP'S !! I have a 2000 & 2002 , love them . One of the all time horsepower to weight ratio !!
From Cleveland area , ride Lake Erie waves all the time ! Any others in the area ??
Right on! The old XP'S look like a great pwc. Unfortunately, I'm pretty far away from the great lakes
Just picked up a Spark 3 up. Not going to lie a very hard purchase to pull the trigger on, but your videos helped seal the deal.
Glad I can help, hope you're having a blast this summer.
I have tried like most of the sea doo scooters that are, Spark trixx, 215, 230, 260 and I now have a 300 GTX limited. The 300 is my absolute favorite and probably the most badass thing you can buy. I don't really like the spark because it's kinda uncomfortable driving because it feels very unstable in the water. But to play and mess around with the spark is great
Ohhh now this should be fun 💪💯💯
Great content all 3 jet-skis are great skis
Thanks dude!
The spark has alot of options to add storage, you can add pieces to have that front area as storage plas they have brackets where you can attach a cooler or storage on the back of it if needed that detach so you can carry stuff to your destination and take it off and go rip and come back to a cooler or what ever you decide to have, and they also have a jerry can option as well
Let's not forget the longer and more stable 3up; he has the 2up which is quite a bit smaller.,
Thanks, great information
great info man! thsnks!
Glad it was helpful!
Good video. Thank you.
great video. I got a 2020 GTI SE a few months ago. Looking for more fun. I think i wanna add a trixx to the stable now.
Great choice. I was slightly disappointed that the gti got completely redone the year after I got mine lol 😂. I think it’s great to have the option of both the trixx and gti
Great review
Thanks i learn a lot
Great video! Wish I had done more research before buying. Got the Spark 3up non-trixtrim. Wish I spent the extra for the Trix! Not a terribly expensive after market add on but not looking to screw my warranty! I’m not a speed junkie and living on a high traffic bay opportunity not really there to really open up. And to ur point probably gets boring eventually hence the trix’s popularity!
Great video, very informative! I appreciate you taking the time to do it. Little bit of a random question, but how wide is your double trailer at its widest point with both skis on it? It looks like they hang over slightly so was just curious what a real-world width looked like when its loaded.
Thank you, thank you. The trailer width is 96 inches wheel to wheel at widest point, one of the more narrow trailers for larger jet skis. There is a slight overhang on each side, maybe 1 to 2 inches on each side. If you get two sparks, they do make narrower trailers cause there smaller and lighter.
Amazing review! Does the spark trixx 3up change the way the driving feels and tricks you can do vs the 2up?
Great reviews. On the hunt for a trixx now. Hard to find. Sold out and seadoo was shut down for a bit from what I hear because of covid. Hope to tie it to my boat and have both out at the same time so I can hop on and mess around while my wife is parked with the boat and kids! Ha
Oh no! Hopefully they get some in stock soon so you can pick one up, there a blast
A good review and over look. One thing you left out that is a big feature for the 230 is the ability to tow a tube or kneeboard. Many small families might find the versatility of this work more than just cruising.
Thank you dude. You can actually tow rather efficiently on all three if the spark is a 3up variant. The gti is capable of towing water sports very well.
Shred Shack great video. Do you know what the towing capability like on the 3 up trixx? Does it have the ability to pull a skier with a driver and spotter?
@@ShredShack what’s a 3 up variant?
He did mention it has the ability to tow something.
Thanks, great info.....
great review
Great information
Glad it was helpful!
Great video very informative
Glad it was helpful!
Great video 👍🏻
Thanks dude!
Nice review. The spark storage capacity is comical! With the smaller fuel tank as well I think I'll go GTI. The rep def said the spark is not good for day long excursions with a passenger
yea the storage on the spark is just not good. It all depends on your riding style as far as gti vs spark
Great comparison, i have a sea doo spark 3 up i love it but if your after speed and storage maybe the spark isn't for you. I am from Australia i think it's a bit of a silly rule that you guys have to carry a fire extinguisher on a pwc especially the spark you have to take off the seat to get the the exstinguisher
The spark can come with a front storage bin. My 2014 would hold quite a bit of stuff however like the gti you have to lean forward.
I just bought a brand new rxpx300 two weeks ago and has been at the dealers for a week getting pulled apart to fix the carbon seal due to engine not being aligned at the factory and let me tell you I am pissed off. So now I'm thinking of getting rid of it and buying the spark trix because of watching your channel .Great review
The rxpx is a great machine for what it is. I didn't mention it, but the rxt 230 has also been recalled twice but it's been running fine since it has been fixed. The trixx is a great machine, but just know it is a different style of riding than the rxpx. You won't be dissapointed either way once you get on the water, hopefully soon!
Should've bought a Yamaha
Now with the new Spark Trixx, you can option a front storage box and you can get the LinQ attachments on them
For the storage on the trixx they have the best spark that has the storage in the front and you could add all the stuff that the trixx says so I can do tricks as well
Nice skis, good review.
Love see some maintenance vids.
@@timshull59 Thank you dude, I appreciate the support. That's one aspect that I have to get better at and learn myself. Paying to winterize cost a ton last season.
@@ShredShack I didn't even winterize mine last year, i didn't know about the anti freeze throughout flush port?.. I live in western Oregon so only dips below freezing a little at night.Nothing like what you get... I will this next year for sure!
I have owned all of these models. Each have their own benefits.. 👍
Nice info!
Love my GTI 130. We have bigger water here (Georgian Bay) so the smaller, lighter Spark means a much less comfortable ride when touring.
great vid thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
have to appreciate a fellow ct river rider
Thanks dude, not the best scenery up here but gotta make due haha
Beautiful skis. Nice lake. You must have lots of summer fun. Looks like you are near Hartford
This was at lake zoar which is in Oxford/Southbury area
Thank you!
Great job! Very, very useful for a newbie on the fence. Thank you. In my situation I would use it ONLY on the ocean off the coast and the beach. How does the TRIXX perform in this case, should I be concerned about too many waves?
I ride almost exclusively in the ocean. I enjoy it, but it can be uncomfortable at times trying to keep up with the larger pwcs that cut through the waves easier. I love my trixx though
RXT gas cap location is much easier to access when filling up at a Marina. Also no problem at the has station. the cover I have allows you to unzip and open the compartment without taking the entire cover off
Yeah we have the same seadoo covers with zippers but I'm not a huge fan of trailering with the cover on
Great job on the video, I have a question, I got a 2012 seadoo gti130, how do you erase the maintenance from the gage??
Awesome review!
Thanks dude
Shred Shack Hey quick question do you have any suggestions for a hoist? I just got a 2009 gti 130 and i’m looking for hoists. Any brands that stick out to you? There is a craft lander at a marina near me, but not sure if it’s any good.
@@boltgaming7510 Not entirely sure, sorry. I don't have a hoist, never really needed one. What are you trying to do with the hoist?
Shred Shack I’m planning to put the ski into a lake so I need a hoist for the dock at the house.
@@boltgaming7510 Oh gotcha, I trailer mine for now, but it's going to be on a dry dock at a marina soon.
Awesome video bro..
Thanks ✌️
I have a 2007 GTI 130. It pulls a tube with 2 adults just fine. I see 91 km/h or about 55 mph on the speedometer solo. It spends most of it's time pulling 2 people on a tube or a hot dog float
What would you recommend: Seadoo gti 170 se 2021 or Yamaha vx cruiser ho 2021 for salt and rough water use only (sea, ocean) Many thanks
You actually can fit any size phone in the spark trixx little storage box you have to put it diagonal towards the handle bars and it’s no problem
Thanks
Looks like best option is buy all 3 🎯👌
I can't disagree with that haha
Hey bud how u been, guess what ive got for the season coming…. Hope your doing well man ill have to drive up to ride this summer. Getting a 2022 GTR 230 supercharged mmmm
What kind of trailer is that? I am looking for the same setup, to be able to put a spark and GTI on a double trailer. I enjoyed your video and helped me in deciding what seadoo to consider getting
Ltwcii-x triton trailer, I love the trailer much better than the single karavan I had prior. I’m glad the video was helpful
Very informative. I spent my child hood on Candlewood Lake , where did you demo?
I also spent some days on candlewood, good spot. Wasn't able to demo, just watched some videos and then bought them
Hi Buddy, great review. How is the reliability of the Seadoos. Have you had any issues ?
All 3 of them have close to a 100 hours and no issues so far aside from preventative issues like not tightening the battery. All three are running well.
I am so glad I found this video, I am completely new at this but I been thinking to get one! I have a one question as I was watching the video, is it gonna mess up the boat (the engine, or other parts) if you rollover the boat ?! Is the water gonna get inside ?
Again, I am new to this, will you recommend the gti or spark? Thank you!
To your first question, generally rolling over the jet ski doesn't cause damage. I have rolled it twice upside with no issues so far. I prefer my spark trixx over my gti but it depends, the trixx is a rougher ride, smaller gas tank, smaller machine, less stable, but more playful. They do the same speed so it is basically it is a choice whether you want comfort and stability in the gti or sacrifice some of that for the playfulness of the trixx.
Shred Shack thank you again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a great video, I’m fairly new to the jet ski game and couldn’t find a video really explaining the differences between all of the different models and the different characteristics between them. Also, not sure if you mentioned in the video but is the trixx you have the 2Up or 3Up? Thank you!
I appreciate the support dude. The trixx is a 2 up. If you have any other questions, just let me know.
You should try the the fast lane off-road channel for reviews too
@@MarlonAndGabriela I second this. They put out good information, especially early on in regards to pwc reviews.
Shred Shack 100%. By the way. I’m out at Lake Powell currently. Ever heard of it? Rented a seadoo just like yours (GTi) and man that thing has some power.
@@MarlonAndGabriela Not to familiar with it but the name of the lake sounds familiar. Yea the Gti is fun man, it's great to just get out there on the water.
Excellent review man. I really want to get a Spark in a few years then upgrade and get a trixx for a second ski.
One question, with the sparks hull being made of plastic I’m concerned with it cracking. Have you had any issues yet and how does it fair in chop?
You won't be disappointed if you get one. The Gti also has a plastic hull and I've had no issues with either cracking so far. But if you beat on the hull or jump it a lot long enough, there's definitely a chance it can crack but I've seen them take a lot of abuse and survive as well. The spark can ride in chop, but your body will definitely feel it, it won't be smooth like a larger jet ski.
Shred Shack thank you the prompt and very in depth reply my man. I will be getting the spark for sure thanks to you.
Going to put about $5k down then just pay it off in under a year. If you don’t mind me asking did you pay cash for the spark trixx if not what’s your payment? Thanks again and enjoy those toys!
Marlon Antone I had bought a 2up trailer with it but the trixx was about 7700 out the door and I pay 225 a month for 36 months.
Shred Shack you’re a life saver bro I appreciate the info be safe out there with this covid19 stuff
I have a 2019 and a 2017 RXT X with 100 hours will my supercharger be shot soon?
One more comparison..... Maintenance. The RXT is sweet buuuuuuuuut, The supercharger has to be rebuilt every 100 hours at the price of approximately $500 per rebuild. I got the GTI 130 just because of this fact. Reliability and low maintenance was a huge determining factor for a family ski.
If money is no issue, definitely get the RXT!
Can't go wrong with that choice if it suits you, it's a comfortable and fast pwc
I went with the 2019 GTX 230 which was the same as the RXT except for the color, the seat, and it comes standard with the swim step for the same price.
For the same price, that is a heck of a deal. You're going to love that Gtx 230
@@ShredShack Lucky we bought last year. Might get a second one next year.
@@ShredShack And yeah, we are enjoying the heck out of it. Great ski.
Really appreciate the review! Have you tried towing on the Spark? Curious if it can do anything in that department.
Thanks!
Jay Cantrell Thank you. I have not tried towing with the trixx cause mine is a 2 up and towing laws require 3 up where I’m from. It’s definitely capable with a 3 up, plenty of speed and acceleration.
I see people tow with 2/3 ups all day
@@Long_Island_Justin people do a lot of illegal things :) especially on small lakes. I have pulled with small skis, the spark can certainly do it, just wont go too fast but most tubes top speed is rated around 20-25 mph anyways.
I have a spark 3 up and it tows great.
@@gbaran7991 All sparks are the same hull so it should be fine with all trims. Plus even with the 60hp tune, the motor will have enough power to tow. Most tow tubes are limited to 20 mph top speed.
We have a guy with a regular 2 up and the 90 hp model, tows a 2 person tube all day long and ski doesnt even seem to struggle pulling it.
Don't forget the amount of accessories that the 2020 Spark Trixx gives......cooler in the back, sound system with 50 watts, docking etc 😆
Truu that. I didn't really get into accessories because you can add stuff to all models but the trixx can be customized a lot.
LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!! one of the best I've seen. Im looking at 2019 GTI 155 SE(15hrs) or a 2014 RXT-X 260 (56hrs).Same price. whats your choice?
I would lean towards the Rxt-x if it is good condition. You will probably have to rebuild the supercharger, but it is going to be a much faster machine
@@ShredShack looks great not a scratch on it. rebuild super charter at 100hrs right? or your saying sooner?
@@tylermoore6440 check the manual for that particular model, it could be 100 or 200 hours, but it's also recommended to be done after 2 years
Nice comparison jsk jet ski’s are literally kawasaki variety of what I think you mean too say pwc aka personal water craft
Spark trixx👍🏼
Just saw the CT on the reg.....moved from there to Florida 8 years ago ....is the footage on lake zoar?
Yea that’s lake zoar haha
The Wahhh Wahhh throttle of the spark hahaha awesome.
How does the gti cut through rough water as compared to the Spark
I think i want the spark. It's in my price range and will be doing casual riding with family. I will push its limits but nothing crazy.
It is definitely a fun pwc and you'll enjoy it and so will your bank account
@@ShredShack I'm a big guy 6'1 300lbs so hopefully I'll like it getting two of them ahahaha
with having the foam in the glove box would it cause your phone to overheat while sealed and charging?
We don’t have the charger inside but the phone does not overheat in the foam when it’s in there by itself
