I have a feeling that for the first time in RE history, Capcom is gonna break a lot of patterns in RE, so what are the RE patterns in the past RE games?: 1/ No MCs are killed off --> RE8 broke the pattern 2/ Leon & Ada mostly are in even numbered titled RE games (2-4-6) --> RE8 broke the pattern with Leon (however Ada was in as a concept art, so it only counted with Leon, and in RE1, she was kinda only mentioned but I don't know if this even count or not) 3/ No supernatural ability that can playable in RE --> Shadow of Rose DLC 4/ No FPS in numbered RE title --> RE7 slapped that So my prediction is gonna be: - Open World Resident Evil? --> I think this might be RE9, considering most RE games starting from 4 are all semi-open world. But I think it will be just semi open world again but longer (the fact that most RE games had a short period of time to beat the game) - They are gonna get the main crew *but they are old* (Chris, Jill, Claire, but this time we are gonna add Ada and potentially Rose if this took place after DLC - so this might be the first time Ada is gonna be in without Leon; Rebecca & Leon are the main in REV 3, so they are in later) - Either Eveline or Natalia Burton (Alex Wesker) back as the final boss (if both then RE9 is gonna be the begin of apocalypse) - The Connection are gonna be the main villains
@ReggiezombieHe's just a really good character, and the work Capcom did in the remakes makes his character arc the most fascinating with the most possible ways it could go. I just hope that they don't undo his complexity and return to the more one-dimensional action hero he was in RE6 (though I am hoping when and if they remake this one, they'll continue with their new trend!) and the new CGI movie "Death Island" (I was disappointed to see him back to his old action figure bravado). I also hope they bring back Nick Apostalides and keep the physical character concept (appropriately aged of course) for continuity. (And can I pray for Jolene's return...?) 🤞🙏🤞🙏🤞
@@solidmage1720 yes, Nick did the motion capture as well as RE2R/RE4R Leon's voice, if that's what you mean by "physical appearance." However, I think the former commenter on Nick's "physical appearance" meant how he actually LOOKS (which Leon was based on model Eduard Badaluta). I'd really love to see Nick do any following Leon work for consistency, and I believe he could age it up appropriately. I think he proved himself in RE4R. Realistically, I don't think the voice needs to change much more anyway. Now that Leon doesn't sound 12 yrs old (his rookie self), he sounds plenty mature as a grown man (RE4R). Men's speaking voices don't change THAT much from 27 yrs old (RE4R) to 37 yrs (RE6R, if they remake it) or middle age. It's when they get a bit older (post-middle) it starts getting raspier, and by that point I don't think he'll be doing these crazy feats anymore anyway--he'll break a hip! 😉

ada is not in re8 because i think chris stll think tht shes dead in re6. They need to add ada and leon in re9 for me resident evil is not complete without them.

i think another reason ada wasn't in re8 is because chris still thinks ada is dead and that'd also mess with his character
