One time I was waiting outside First Ave to get in for the after party of Soundset '08 and I spotted Ant having a smoke. I said hi and asked him for a photo, he obliged, and he also kinda juked his head to the beat of a song at just the right second so he's a little blurry while I'm in focus. But in the photo he looks like he's vibrating, and one of my friends said he's just that vibrANT. I think that suits him

i love it! as an Atmosphere fan since 2001 (who's attended countless shows over the years, in various cities), i feel like we never get to see much of Ant's personality. he's always a man of few words and prefers to not be in the spotlight. it's great to finally see his personality shine through, after nearly a 25-year wait. also, congrats on getting in better shape! (appears you've lost some lbs over the years)! p.s. that's funny -- my first flight ever (decades ago), i went solo to SF and happened to visit Sausalito island. i remember the tour guide mentioned it's where Otis' song was written!
I went to a show a couple years ago and he was walking around the venue unaccosted, like most the people there didnt even know who he was. Sorta a cool kind of famous - everyone is there to hear you, and a lot dont know anything about what you look like.
