Hi, Thank you very much for making this video with good tips and tricks🙏. It helped me to pass the G test in the Mississauga location🤗. I would like to inform you that these days they're not checking the parallel parking and emergency parking. But they thoroughly checked, lane changes, blind spot checking, stop sign checking, signal light and speed sign checking.also I drove two times on highways. (West London and East Toronto). My route is Longside drive-Ambassador drive-Huraontaro-highway West london- exit Mavis- enter highway East Toronto-Exit Hurontario-skyway drive-Longside drive-drive test center. Good Luck Guys!✌️

I took the G full test today and the examiner sent me on an absolutely different route. Fyi:
Right on Maritz Dr - Left To Skyway - Right on Hurontario (WATCH OUT FOR Sign 60 when approaching 401) - 401 east - 410 North - Exit on Derry - Left on Derry - Right on St Barbara Blvd - over there I had my parallel parking, 3 point turn and parking - back to driving test.
A lot of turns, many times I told instructor that it is not safe, I passed. Good luck everyone!
Thank you for sharing this route Philip! It's the exact same one I had 3 days ago and I passed my test with flying colors! Thankfully, I was able to complete lane changes, parallel parking, 3 point turn and parking without any issues.
I'd previously taken my G test twice and failed in Brampton. Mississauga is so much easier!!

@@dharijata I didn't check the scoresheet marked by the examiner. However, I believe here are the things you get marked on:
- Moving head Left, Right and Centre upon crossing every signal
- Checking Blind spot when signalling
- Driving within speed limit
- Changing Lanes properly (as I was asked atleast 4-5 times to do this)
- Entering highway, driving within Speed Limit and exiting highway
- Three Point Turn
- Emergency Parking (mostly downhill)
- Front/Reverse Parking
- Parallel Parking
Regarding location, Mississauga is easier in my opinion than Brampton because the routes have less traffic. Plus, I live in Mississauga and I'm used to the routes myself.

@@dharijata Yes I believe these are the main things they look for. Most importantly, they want to you drive confidently and have control over the car.
Speed limits on Derry is 70km/h, Mavis is 60 km/h and McLaughlin is 70 km/h.
The route by Philip is one route. The other one is the route on the video. I think it's only these 2 that are the important ones.
Although my G route was different (401 E & 410 N), this video definitely helped and gave me tons of confidence before the test. I wouldn't have been able to practice all the available routes had I not read the comments below.

I just passed my G exam directly from G1 and I would like to thank you for making this amazing video I don't know how many times I watched this.
I just passed my G test today. Because of heavy snow, the route was different. And I was only made to do merging on the highways, no parallel parking/3 pt turn/emergency stop. Your video certainly helped me with this. Thank you for making this and many other videos for many other places.

Finally passed my G test in Mississauga location today. Thank you for your tips, it was very helpful. The route was completely different and no parkings/stops required. Watch out for the construction 🚧 signs, it was so annoying because of that. From my experience I learned that passing depends more on examiner rather than your G driving skills. If it’s bad examiner they will fail you for small mistakes, if it’s good one they will avoid small mistakes.
Totally agree! I’ve failed by test twice, going for the third one on this route next week. So they are still doing the short test? No parking?
@@soniamohsin7806 I did my test in April when they had extended the temporary rules (no parking/stops) so I’m not really sure for may. Ask your driving instructor, they should have all the updates. Good luck for you test!

I have such a bad anxiety of exams and tests. When I drive with people even experienced drivers compliment my driving. But the moment I think about the test I go into a panic mode :(
same here. Remember that you know what you're doing, you're a safe driver, breathe, you know what you're doing, it's just an instructor telling you what to do, done and dusted in 20 minutes. I have mine in a couple weeks, so that's what i'm telling myself
Picturing the examiner as your friend or whoever you’re always driving with helps. I just passed mine, it’s not as bad as you think. As soon as I got close to the the test center I started having anxiety and my stomach was hurting. But convincing yourself and encouraging yourself helps. I kept telling myself I will pass. And that God is with me

Thank you so much! Passed my G test on first try today and watched this video yesterday. I agree with others who tested on Mississauga. They didn't do 3-point turn, parallel park, and emergency stop (emergency stop still required for real emergencies of course) probably because of backlog. Just merged on highways.

I had the test yesterday. He took me through different route i.e. on 410 south and then 401 west and then to huontario. The route is on this link. ruclips.net/video/i0QpnJNGyLA/видео.html. The examiner was so good. Instead of telling me to do lane changes on spot, he was informing me in advance, before going to highway and before the intersection that do one lane change on left and then on right after the signal or after going to highway etc. Moreover be prepared to keep mask on all the time. One tip. For the signal lights on the roads, be prepared to watch the pedestrian signal on the adjacent road, when it start flashing, then ur signal is gonna turn yellow soon, so DO NOT cross on yellow !!

@@melainas8178 when I was told to drive in a residential area it was slightly different but it was a 40 zone and she quickly found some where for me to parallel park, do a 3 point turn, and emergency road side stop . Once that was done we left the residential area

@@coolgirl123452 it was pretty similar. I honestly can't remember the exact route, but I had to do everything they did in this video (just a slightly different order).

I was very nervous about taking my G test as anyone is. Overall, great experience and I passed on my first try. I wish I remembered my examiners name, it started with an A and he was probably in his early 30's with orange sunglasses on. We didn't speak much, but did have a laugh about someone blowing through a stop sign which lightened the mood.
My entire experience was not great though. After the reviews I experienced the wrath of the lovely little Indian lady at booth 25. She was a piece of work. I got there too early, so when I checked in at the kiosk it told me to comeback no sooner than 30 minutes before my test. Fine. I come back, go to check in 30mins before the kiosk told me I already had checked in, which I hadn't. When my ticket printed out I was told to go to both 25. Walking up there I could tell this would be an interesting conversation with her as she radiated bad vibes. She told me to enter in my license number carefully, which I did and had to do 3 times because it kept saying I already checked in when I hadn't. Each time it failed she let out a louder sigh, mocking my incompetence. After the third time it didnt work she responded in the most sarcastic voice I've ever heard yelling at me "do I need to come there and do it for you?" From her booth 20ft away. People definitely heard. Even though I knew this was sarcasm for her, I replied by saying her assistance would be appreciated. She stomps over, grabbed my license from my hand and proceeded to do it herself. While doing so she punched in each digit slowly and loudly degrading my IQ a little more with each number she pressed on the screen. When she was done her obnoxious little performance that had now caught the attention of everyone around us the appointment check in screen came up. She then looked at me and had the audacity to say "how hard was that" in the most belittling voice. I told her to continue because after I selected the appointment time on the screen it says iI've already checked in which is why shes here. Since I felt like being a little petty I looked back at her and said "see" once the same screen came up for her. Once she saw that the kiosk wouldn't take her magic she said she'd fix it and to pick a number of the empty parking spot I'd like to park in, this time much quieter. Even if this were my fault and I wasn't doing it right, there is no need to be condescending like this. It was in the morning as well. Would hate seeing her before closing.
Tips for G/G2 road test. Park in one of the reserved parking spots before going in. Go to the tablet kiosks by booth 25, not the ones by the main entrance. I can't confirm this but if you're like me and hate reverse parking, reverse into the reserved spot by yourself before your test. I noticed that when the test was done my examiner told me to front park in the spot when finished. No parellel parking, no emergency stop or 3 point turns. Just the driving. Maybe I just got lucky as other recent reviews say they had to do more.

@@aryan2571 Thanks! The route was so basic that I was shocked. I don't remember exactly what streets but it was quick. I believe this was the route from the centre:
East on Longside-South on Maritz-East on Courtney Park-South on Hurontario-West on 401 (London)-Exit on Mavis-South on Mavis-East on 401 (Toronto)-North on Hurontario-West on Prologis-North on Kateson-North on Maritz-West on Longside-Back to Centre.
It did not take long at all. 20 minutes or so. Traffic was very light as well. I was concerned because of the construction on Hurontario and the 401 is a parking lot on a good day. I'd highly recommend going between 10:00am-11:00am as there will be less pedestrians as well. Turning at Courtney Park was probably the worst of it. You will likely get a red light at Courtney Park and Hurontario and because there's construction don't bother turning right at that intersection if any cars are coming southbound or pedestrians crossing the street. Wait until the light is green unless there's absolutely nothing around you. It's better to just wait. Hope this helps! Good luck!

@@Batmobileize same highway route but instead of turning right at mavis we turned left and then entered the other highway to come back. I would recommend to stay in the second left turning lane because your going to go right back on the highway on your right once you complete the turn

@@vicesmadonna8151 My route was Maritz drive- Hurontario- 401 E- 410 Exit on Derry- Lane changes- go straight to St. Barbara- crescent;Three point, II park, Emergency stop come back on Derry, Maritz Drive - Back to centre. I did all manouvres, Now they have changed. all the Best. Be Confident and do lots of practice.

at 14:02 when turning right on a signal, there shouldn't be any cars (ALL LANES must be free of cars coming from your left) when making the turn! I never read this rule in the book, is this a confirmed rule?
Can you extend your G2 if you have fear of highways?

What is the acceptable speed to merge on a highway of speed limit 100 km/h
What about using the safety aids that many modern cars come with i.e. Blindspot detector rearview camera that type of thing should you disable them for the test or do you use them but also supplement them with turning your head
Do you have to turn your wheel to the curb on a flat ground when parking? I thought this is only necessary on uphill and downhill, advise please.

update: did the g2, and the instructor said "that's not necessary", but I vocalized what I was doing, idk maybe so they know you know? but they really don't care lol

If our car is having blind spot monitoring enabled , do we have to turn that off for the exam or is it okay to keep it ?

Why would a person need to bring a driver with them if they fail the full G? They are already driving alone with a G2? Or are you referring to the G1 to G2?

What if the bus is loading in Hurontario, do you wait from the back of the bus or change lane to avoid the bus?
Tell examiner what you are planning on doing. If bus is taking time, change lanes safely and pass the bus.

When I take my first G test in Newmarket, the examiner failed me because I stick on 100 km/hr, she said that I should follow the flow to 110km/hr. This make me so confusing. What should I do?

However sometimes there are cars parked on the side or on coming traffic or stop signs but you can go a little slower depending on the road
