LYRICS
Maggie, don’t you know
He’s got a real fuse about to blow
You gotta let him go
(People say, people say)
(Run away, run away)
Gilly thinks that he’s a DJ
Makes me want to slit my wrist
Breaking mirrors on the subway
No one dances to his hits
Glitter whippits on the freeway
Mamas and papas shitting bricks, yeah
Give your boy a little leeway
No one dances to his playlist
Yeah, you gotta let him go
Maggie, don’t you know
He’s got a real fuse about to blow
You gotta let him go
(People say, people say)
Maggie, the deck is stacked
You gotta hit your boyfriend back
You gotta hit him back
(People say, people say)
(Run away, run away)
God bless the doomsday scrollers
Thank you for doing all the work, oooh
God damn the holy rollers
Making the matters worse
Fourth of July and it’s snowing
(Oh yeah)
Where do you think that you’re going
(Oh yeah)
Yeah, I’ll never let you go
Maggie, don’t you know
He’s got a real fuse about to blow
You gotta let him go
(People say, people say)
Maggie, the deck is stacked
You gotta hit your boyfriend back
You gotta hit him back
(People say, people say)
(Run away, run away)

The hate for this album is so weird to me, and I'm not even a die-hard fan. I liked maybe two songs from the previous record so I figured maybe all the negative attention VLV was warranted, but no... I'm blown away by most of these tracks. I'm taken aback by how well he's captured so many different eras of Panic! in just one album... Hopefully people will come around and listen again!
As a die hard fan I appreciate this. I love this album so much. Its definitely a bit different from previous material but I feel like every panic album is completely different from any other.
I think a lot of people hate this album cause its different from the older stuff like this is a bit more pop sounding than a fever you can't sweat out and i personally love this album there's only one song i don't really like and its all by yourself its just not for me
I’m not sure if I’m still a die hard fan but whatever, this album is obnoxious to the ears with Brendon’s vocals. I personally enjoy the album just a bit but damn the vocals can make it hard to listen.
Some songs are structured very weirdly and it’s just not for me. I can only wish it was different so I could like it more
Ikr
anyone else notice how this sounds so much like a vices and virtues bonus track? I'm digging it
this is so accurate
Yesss, first 3 second and It gave me kaleydoscope eyes vibes
Dude I was literally thinking this as I was listening to it in the car, wtf.
Yes!
ooooh interesting I was thinking more of a pretty odd vibe
while im listening this i imagine some piece of musicial when people walk on streets dancing and a singer is in the middle of crowd in front of Maggie and hes singing
100%
@@AurorasEve plot twist he's already made a musical, this is the soundtrack, and that's what the concert is lol
@@AurorasEve I still have to get mine 🥲 I've got the plane ticket to Vegas, just waiting on the rest of the group to be ready for concert tickets.
My bf just read your comment to me
@@drusillastoner1396 and nobody wouldn't be surprised)
Screaming Maggie Mae from The Beatles. Just the 60s sound, name of the song, I love it
We love retro
I like this one the most so far. Which is funny, because it could easily have been on Vices and Virtues. It's got a very old school panic vibe, which I love.
.
ruclips.net/video/_asNhzXq72w/видео.html
it doesn't sound like V&V at all.
@@RJIS Sounds kinda like Kaleidoscop Eyes
Exactly.
This is definitely the most like classic Panic! song so far. I could’ve heard this on A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, Pretty. Odd., or Vices & Virtues.
Definitely reminds me of Pretty Odd
Vices i got it clearly, but AFYCSO?, no way, you need to hear the whole album again bro.
Definitely not giving AFYCSO vibe for me, but I can see Pretty Odd. personally!
Not even close to AFYSCO, but I can definitely see it on Vices!
Can't really see Fever but Pretty Odd definitely
I can’t decided whether this album is rock, pop, or Broadway but I am OBSESSED either way😂❤️
doesn't need a label. it's just Panic!
I like the line with 'Holy rollers' cuz it's a throwback to *The Good the Bad and the Dirty*
yesss! that’s what i was thinking when i first heard it! i love it
This one is what we expected this whole time
The music shifts at the end of the chorus remind me of Queen’s “bicycle” - down to the fact that it’s both jarring and catchy as fuck.
Well, one of his biggest influences was always Queen ♥ Shame on him for splitting the band up! But I bet he'll be back one day, perhaps as a solo act or he'll re-arm Panic. Who knows?
Lots of people: This isn't what we're used to.
A Fever You Can't Sweat Out: Scene, Pop punk, emo, baroque pop, electronica, dance-punk, alternative rock
Pretty. Odd.: Psychedelic pop, psychedelic rock, baroque pop, pop, pop rock, folk rock
Vices and Virtues: Pop rock, pop punk, alternative rock, emo-pop, baroque pop, synth-pop
Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!: Pop, pop rock, synth-pop, electropop, dance-pop, alternative rock
Death of a Bachelor: Pop rock, pop, rock, jazz, alternative rock, power pop, R&B
Pray for the Wicked: Pop, electro-pop, alternative rock
Viva Las Vengeance: Pop rock, glam rock, power pop, rock and roll
Me: What the fuck did you get 'used to'?
Legit, every album has been so unique, they're like siblings, they have a lot of things in common, but they are each their own person.
Source: the internet
Trashes are everywhere, ignore them
This album gets 80 on metacritic
EVERY SINGLE ONE of this Album's songs scream to me that Brendon will make a Broadway Show about his life and use some of the P!ATD discography in the soundtrack
I mean he wrote a BANGER for the spongebob musical so i really wanna see that too tbh
this song is so versatile, it could be in every panic album (not twtltrtd, like the only similarity is the Vegas theme):
Has drastic changes on the rythm in some points (people say, run away) so it reminds me of afycso, has pretty odd vibes in the instrumental, it seems to be a vices & virtues bonus track in the arrangement, has the lyrics similar to doab, and the high notes of pftw
Hell yeah this album is amazing, the fact of TWTLTRTD being the most "dark" álbum is funny tho
This sounds like a fleshed out version of Kaleidoscope Eyes. I love it!
omg i agree 100%
YEEAAHHHH
Don't disrespect Kaleidoscope Eyes like that
@@zulaiman2151 this whole album reeks of desperation.
no it doesn't
This is one of my favorite Panic songs of all time
Spill for once
lovely lovely song. I can't get the "people say, PEOPLE SAY, run away, RUN AWAY" out of my head. it's stuck there now, permanently. not that I have complaints.
literally
i think this is the most panic sounding one so far the other ones don’t really feel like panic at all imo
The instrumental does imo, but something about the lyrics in a lot of them feels like to much of a mouthful and doesn’t match
Panic has never had a strick sound so I don't know what you're trying to say
I agree. Lots or repetition so far. Really wanted more of the authentic panic sound. I'm excited to hear them live though, sometimes it hits better live
Panic! Doesn't have a "panic sound" they or he (XD) always make something different in the albums ;)
@@Nora915 The "authentic panic sound" _was_ repetitious, ever hear I write sins?
Pretty Odd vibes for sure! Theatrical but freaking catchy
bro pretty odd shits on this

I'm tearing up but tears of joy
My favorite song on the album!! BEAUTIFUL!
Hearing some queen here. His voice tho..damn it's crazy beautiful 😍
This sounds like a mix of every Panic Album except Too Weird To Live Too Rare To Die. I think I like this one the most along with VLV and Middle of a Breakup. This reminds me of BGTWT, When The Day Met The Night, From A Mountain In The Middle of the Cabins and Dying In LA all at once! I feel like this could be on Broadway.
Ryan Ross is obsessed to be The Beatles
Brendon Urie is obsessed to be Freddie Mercury
Dallon Weekes is obsessed with synth-pop
such a banger, so underrated. love everything about this track
This is so "Pretty Odd". My favorite song from the album
Somewhere out in the cosmos, Freddie is giving the biggest thumbs up!! I heard the full album already..and I'm just eager to hear it all over again in the morning!
now…be ducking fr…
freddie is wishing he could die again
one of my favorite songs on the album for sure
Pretty Odd vibes on this one 😍 I love it ❤️
PEOPLE SAY RUN AWAAAAAAAAAY
THIS IS SO GOOD
This sound so high.
Just. Like. Pretty. Odd.
LOVING this!!
Aww!!! I love this song so much!!! I'm not gonna lie I'll be singing those esses all day after I hear this song!! 🤘🧡💛🤍❤️🔥
Can't wait to go to the concert!!!
" You gotta hit your boyfriend back "
Now that's an energy I strongly support. ♥
We love revenge
As she should
kind of a horrible message though? most DV resources advise against it because reactive abuse will only result in giving the actual abuser more power in their manipulation tactics (eg. abusers will often go "see how you reacted? you're clearly unstable")
giving goodbye earl by the chicks
@@rat-gang- It refers to hit someone as in poker bc of the "The deck is stacked" Yk when you tell the croupier to hit you. Like "Give your boyfriend a chance"
Masterpiece
This is actually good
The most Panic sounding song so far on the album. More if this would’ve been nice. From lyrics, to sound, to changes in tempo…
Most Panic sounding? You mean pre-split Panic?
Nah, Say it Louder sounds the most like classic Panic
Sarah smiles, now it's something about Maggie lol I love the bands new stuff n I love our vro Brendon, keep up the good work
Underrated
Yessss Maggie
This album is what I have been waiting for!!!! New favorite Playlist!!
Me too

Not mad at this one. Very Pretty. Odd. vibes… ❤️
Take it step
Awesome and sweet
I feel like if this was a Harry Styles album, everyone would go crazy... Everybody is sleeping on Panic! currently and that is depressing af

🥰😍 this sounds like it could be a part of a play
GIVING PRETTY ODD VIBES+V&V

this is my fave on the album🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤
I LOVE THIS
THANK YOU PANIC AT THE DISCO
Each song I listen to keeps on getting better and better!!
Minus MOAB and SSB
Lots of Pretty Odd vibes in this one!
Panic will live forever
Glorious
This reminds me of a "silly" Beatles song, if that makes sense. Ex: Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite! for sure vibes. And Beatles always used names in their songs. The ending of this even sounded a lot like Blue Jay Way.
That's definitely inspired by that
Thx for the info
Gives Sergeant Pepper vibes
BRENDON'S HIGH PITCH IS INCREDIBLE I'M SURPRISED!!😮😮
I love this more and more each time I hear it
OMG what a journey
absolutely loving this song
This has such a musical theatre vibe. I love it.
Absolutely

Viva Panic At The Disco
You've got a real fuse 'bout to blow
I spent all day driving around doing errands, which was the perfect time to listen to this album. Fantastic work
Blast this album in your car everyday!!
As you should
Full of bangers
This is musical, i love it
Im waiting for that song
#VivaLasVengeance reminds me of the play about Green Day called American idiot, VLV could be like that because the whole album sounds theatrical, I could definitely see someone belting out these songs on stage in a play production
The whole album is giving me grease, Shakespeare, rock I LOVE IT
Great song, reminds me of classic Panic!
Stream PINK VENOM!
This is a bop
this song is stuck in my head i love it
Maggie, don't you know ..
this whole album is dope.
Yes it is dope
Agreed
this could be in pretty odd, V&V, DOAB, it just captures the P!ATD essence
This one's the bop for me
definitely one of the best songs on this album!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I LOVE THIS SONGGGG
We love this song
This song came out so recently but feels like it's been a classic for years.
This is definitely one of my most favorite songs of this album.
Nice taste
I love the groovy ones like Say It Louder and Sugar Soaker
Those are not too theatrical nor too poppy
I like those too, for the same reasons actually! You also have a great taste. I'm sure of that.
me tooo
It feels like Brendon is so obsessed with bohemian rhapsody this entire album sounds like bohemian rhapsody
Only in theatrical ones like God Killed Rock N' Roll and Sad Clown
VLV, Say It Louder, Sugar Soaker are more like 70s rock n' roll
Who isn't obsessed with Queen tho? Every bands dream to be that iconic
Yeah it's like a flashback album
But he's so underrated I feel sad he barely gets nominated on Grammy's and he deserves that
probably my favorite in VLV 🧡🧡
Beautiful. 💕
Beau chanson
Je l'adore
J'aime les paroles
I can't contain my excitement. EACH SONG IS A MASTERPIECE
I always love Panic! songs that are played in Major key but have dark themes like this and a From a Mountain in the Middle of the Cabins
I love it, i like it, i want it
Been there. Glad to be on the other end of this song now.
B’s voice reminds me of a mature version of Olaf in this song 😂
Uma vibe bem Pretty Odd❤Eu amo
What a killer of an album
Hermoso!
