At first I didn’t think that someone hunting through coins would be very interesting, but once I started looking at videos of top rare objects, I started to become a collector, especially in coins. Seeing this inspires me to get a whole collection! You have some really good videos, so keep it up and don’t give up (also, nice Star Wars jumper)!
I got my £10 pocket money in 50p and I got
1 jersey fisher
6 Peter rabbits
5 squirrel nutkin
2 Benjamin bunny's
and
2 tale of Peter rabbits

The only problem we all have is: being a coin collector is an expensive hobby! I love watching your videos and seeing every possible coin that's in circulation :)

I have a question a friend of mine that lives in Europe I'm in the US. He used to like certain things that he could not get over there, certain chocolate and stuff like that. I got a bunch of stuff and sent it to him, it was more for shipping than the stuff he wanted cost. This was like 6 years ago or so he wanted to pay me back I told him not to worry about it. He had my address from sending stuff to him so he sent me a full set of Olympic 50p coins in the cardboard and a book like folder that they go into. Are those the same Olympic coins that your looking for and what kind of value do they carry new like that. I've never opened them and there's a completion coin that was a bonus or something. Sorry about the story hope you don't mind.

I have collected all the Beatrix Potter set however I am yet to get my hands on the 2018 coins . I have only just started collecting a week ago and think I am doing well considering that I never really knew about this this whole world of coins . I have managed to get most of the common ones and a Isle of Man one . That’s for getting W into coin collecting, thanks

hi chris i hope the royal mint will make more puddle duck and tailor of glos 50p coins and lots of mary shelly 2 pound coins so lots more people have a better chance of finding 1 or 2 for their collection and i bet you hope so to cheltenham chris

I must go through my huge collection of coins at some point. I have just saved basically everything that I have collected in my change since about 2010. I have: 5 genuine Kews, at least 7 puddle ducks and multiple wrestling and Judo coins along side two (almost 3) complete Olympic sets just to name a few bits... I had an EEC 50p too but I just can't place where I put it 😰

I had a pepsi coin , they were made in Argentina in the years 89-92 , if u got 5 , u won a Ford Escort Cabriolet , then they got into my house to rob it , and they stole my entire coin collection

Hi Christopher chuffed that you found that wrestling one, myself had a nightmare at the bank today, as they told me that I wont be able to take as much coins out in future, maybe only £20 at a time ,and that I have to bag the coins that I take back, no more using the coin machine,.....HELP. lol
Are you paying the coins back into the bank you take them from? I've always recommended using 2 different ones because it can annoy the staff paying it out and in but also you could end up taking the same coins out again next time
Yes Christopher I do, they mentioned about opening a Business account , which is the last thing that I want to do, have to open a account at a different bank I suppose.

well done mate I have a tom kitten and the o of Tom is half coloured in the blue with they use for his jacket on the coloured version don't know if you have seen it on your collecting mate any advice on how to get a valuation any advice is much appreciated thanks and we'll done on your collecting I got the 2018 set of Beatrix Potter and a full set of a to z in tens but I bought mine in a collection hope you start finding them soon mate

Where did you get your Collector case/wallet from? The ones I've seen online look a lot bigger. I'm after one the same size as yours.

Do u collect your coins from the bank? I didn’t know you could go in and request x amount of 50ps. Also when u get to 100 odd tom kittens etc do the extras go back into circulation ?
Yep I phone my order in once a week and find out when I can pick it up. The common ones all go back the following day haha

How do you go about getting these from the bank?
you c an go into your bank and ask them to convert notes into bags of coins.
if you want a £250 bag, they might not have one in, so will need a days notice to get one.
but if you just want, say, £100 of 50ps, then they might have enough in the safe to sort u out.

good one for the 50p the kew gardens is not the rarest 50p coin all the media lied and jumped on the story with out doing their homework if you look it up shows up on royal mint mintage the EC commemorative 50p is the lowest a only 109,000 coins made half of the kew gardens
This is true but it is a larger 50p so I don't think I'll ever get it from the bank though
