You can have pre set tracks that you have saved prior… but you can’t switch between them during a performance… Alternatively… you can layer a track… and then delete a layer then add it back again if needed, provided that you haven’t recorded anything again since… this has to be during a performance
You are doing the exact same setup as I have....guitar / RC505 / MPK Mini....could you do a diagram or video showing how its all connected? Sorry I'm a newbie
Looper connects to your computer, USB. Keyboard also connects to your computer, USB. Select the looper as your sound output device inside your music software and you’re sailing.
Hey mate! It s simple fix really! I run an aux chord from the computer to the 505. So all sounds from the computer come out into the 505 and I can loop them!
@@lachlancarr9860 no external sound card required? You need to connect the rc 505 via usb to the computer and mpk the same? What program do you use to sample mpk?
yea you can. I put an aux cable in the "phones" jack on the akai, and then I use an AUX to 1/4 TS converter/splitter and insert them into the L-INST-R jacks on the RC-505.
I’m beat-repeat-aholic too mate 😂 lovely little ensemble there though dude
Hahah - its such a good lil trick. Thanks man. Would love to see your stuff! Do you have a channel?
Wow! Wish I had the whole track. Gonna loop it now as close as I can..
You, like the pain in me ..
Thank you! I know… I should really make whole tracks out of these.
I’m glad you liked!

Can you save a track on the fly to free it for other loops during the performance and then reload the saved track on the fly?

Funfact: if you have the mpk mini play mk3, you don't need a laptop in your setup
Teach me your ways!
I’ll see what i can put together
Did you end up making a video of how you have everything setup ?
how do you connect the akai mpk? does it have to go to the computer first, then loopstation? Or does the mpk have a built in memory?

Hey!
So with my set up, the MPK goes into the laptop, then from the laptop is an aux chord going into the looper
how did u make the rc 505 to take inputs from your midi? can u make a tutorial

hello, i buy a midi keyboard i can ear it in my loop but i cant record loop with it, do you know how i can do ? :(
May be you plug you keyboard in aux input. Try use instrumental input ( R L input)
Can I connect akai mini mk3 to rc 505 mk2 directly ?
I’m not sure! I’m using mk1
yea you can. I put an aux cable in the "phones" jack on the akai, and then I use an AUX to 1/4 TS converter/splitter and insert them into the L-INST-R jacks on the RC-505.
