Thank you again. My life and shopping habits have changed for the better since I started subscribing to your magazine, and following your advice. Great work 👍🏻
Thanks for a great video, I knew about all these brands, but when you lay it out so starkly, it's a good reminder and you realise how much worse they are than you remembered! One thing I have never understood is how a company can be a B Corp when its parent company is so unethical? Doesn't it undermine the ethos of the B Corp ideals?
thank you! I didnt know that Costa Coffee was owned by coca cola! they have a foundation that builds schools in Guatemala and I thought they were good!
That's really interesting. Lots of these companies do some charitable work. But we often find issues in their core business that they really should be addressing.
The question is: can a commercial company ever be 100% ethical? They are after all run by humans who all have flaws in their characters. Whatever the answer is, i believe companies should try to be as ethical as possible without trying to always be perfect.

I never knew that about Cadbury, Coke. I knew that Unilever has had their issues. I really thought coke wouldn't be on that list. was a surprise for sure.
We completely agree, it is so frustrating. Hopefully one day, with the help of consumer action, these brands will change their practices to meet their ethical claims! We have recommended 'best buys' and hundreds of guides on our website to help - www.ethicalconsumer.org. Hope this is helpful.
Really hard to avoid plastics, now have my doubts about the biodegradable ones sold in ethical shops, shopping in the village shop - run by volunteers - is helping.
Lovely 🥰 cardigan! Where is that from? Second hand or ethical brand? Nice video!!! Please do more like these, especially with the new school 🏫 year and Christmas 🎄☃️
It's never too often to remind consumers about coca cola. Speaking of ethical brands with unethical links, who'd have thought that cola cola products are the nominated brands for soft drink supplies to Glastonbury Festival.

Agreed, companies should aim to be as ethical as possible without feeling the pressure to be perfect!

What a world we live in .
I find it frustrating when you think youre buying an ethical product only to find out its far from it seriously limits options

I buy local farmers as much I can. Also my go to hygiene brand is Urtekram which Nordic eco brand.
"Have been accused of..." isn't a very strong argument.
