Wow I procrastinated on every single part of this thing, I even procrastinated editing and writing this description... I started this project a full year ago and a lot of the art at the beginning was drawn last September. I gave up at around the 30 second mark and didn’t work on it until Spring and I’ve been working on it on and off since then. I’m not really proud of the final product, there’s a lot I could improve on but I’ve got other projects that I’m more excited to finish than to redo this
The “I’m a fraud I’m an imposter” parts might be a bit confusing so here’s what’s happening in those frames - Chameleon is spying on the talons of peace as Cirrus and is talking to Scarlet, the last one is him as Shapeshifter hitting Kinkajou

I love how he has dark shading under his eyes. Is that because he has trouble sleeping? Really cool detail of that's the case.
Probably. Canonically he does have trouble sleeping for extended periods of time.
yes, because of his deformed nose, he can only sleep few minutes or maximum one hour, that‘s why he have dark eye rings .

Yes! That was a great touch and its because he cannot sleep cause of his snout deformity!
The very few dislikes are from the salty RainWings who kicked Chameleon out of the rainforest.

I really love how Chameleon is Hyde and not his many forms cause, having read the book, Hyde is the villain that Jekyl turns into. This an awesome video!!!!!
Agreed, I love how it represents how he feels more comfortable with his other identities, and the villain in his mind is himself, how he hates his original form, therefore represented as Hyde, an imposter.

@@shaynes8970 Jekyll and Hyde is a book from the 18 hundreds, it has been adapted into modern language a few times. There’s a musical too, if you’re interested. :)

The song is great, the colours are bright and work together well, the art is beautiful and the editing pulls it all together so well:
It is okay to not like a final outcome, that just means that you need to work to change what you don’t like, but sometimes it is your own extreme self criticism you need to work on. It isn’t always the product you are disappointed in but yourself.
I hope you know that either way your fan base loves your work!!!

I just feel bad for Chameleon. The other rainwings did not accept him the way he was, so he just wanted to be happy. Him hurting kinkajou? I’m alright with him putting her in a coma. He didn’t know she was diffrent just like him. He just wanted to be a diffrent dragon so others would accept him. Instead, he gets fire breathed and frost breathed and a broken snout.
WHOOPS I WROTE A WHOLE PARAGRAPH-
In my opinion, he deserved getting blasted with fire and frost breath. ;w; Cause he still attacked kinkajou, he should have known it was wrong to do so. And since he also casted a spell on his own daughter he deserved that. :>
Ok, let’s review; a full grown adult, purposely injured a child, enough to endanger said child’s life. There’s no way you can tell me he “didn’t know” not to hurt a literal dragonet, regardless of who she was, I just thought that was a given.
I mean I get where you're coming from. I don't agree with the whole he shouldnt have been stopped. But you make a good point. He has a pretty sad backstory. But hopefully with Glory as queen things like that won't happen.

OKAY LET ME JUST SAY I’M NOT EVEN PART OF THE FANDOM BUT THIS IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL
Poor fellow. He had a hard life and made bad decisions, but I feel that we still might get a redemption arc for him. But injuring Kinkajou is just plain not cash money. Shapeshifting has always been one of my favorite kinds of superpower, imagine if he used it for good. Heck, he could have used the scroll to give him camouflage abilites and slipped back in with the rainwings!

honestly, I feel terrible for him. he was bullied and an outcast to all RainWings-more like he was a disgrace. I know he injured our beloved Kinkajou and tricked out really cool Peril but that started from his roots, if the other RainWings didn’t ever stare at him like that and bully him then maybe he would have been as chill as any RainWing. I love his story!

I have a love-hate relationship with Chameleon- I am loving Cirrus tho- that purple white color scheme is something you don’t see in the average Icewing-

One of my most favorite parts of the series was whenever Chameleon would doubt that he was in character as a dragon from another tribe. He'd immediately lose like all his confidence lol

Explanation to him ((SPOILERS FOR SECOND ARC)): Chameleon was/is a Former Rainwing who was banished(exiled?) After the Rainwings thought he was diseased since he couldn’t change colours, he also didn’t sleep as much. He was introduced in the second Arc in “Escaping Peril” as Soar, Perils father. Able to change into the custom made physical bodies of every single dragon tribe in pyrriah using Darkstalker scroll even though only 5 are known
His forms: Soar ((Skywing)), Bog ((Mudwing)), Cirrus ((Icewing)), Shapeshifter ((Nightwing)), Chameleon
If I could like this twice, I would.
