Just wiring mine, same model but GT. I think I’m going to borrow your power cable routing path :) . Tried sticking a coat hanger through the firewall on the driver side, no such luck.
No, my sport came with the rear deck speaker. If yours didn’t hopefully they still ran the connector there for you to connect up to or you will have to find a different way.Unfortunately I sold my sport for a new tow vehicle a few months after I purchased it.

You didn’t have to go thru there it’s a plug you can remove on the drive side and put it thru and the rubber ring around the wire
