Altra Olympus are the best! wide toe box, good cushion and great support with the Vibram soles for the rocky parts of the trails! excellent choice! great videos, keep up the great walk!
Fab video, M .... I'm thoroughly enjoying them all! ... and learning so much through your detailed filming. Sooooo helpful! I've made a folder and saving them to return to again and again, as my hubby and I are planning to walk the Way next year 🎉 Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers as you continue your journey. Wishing you a restful day of recovery. Virtual hugs, Stella 💝 xx
@@stella4281 so glad you and hubby are embarking on this incredible journey soon. It’s very special you know and the challenges are what keeps it so. I am exhausted today -24 km in the heat.
@11:13 me and one other crazy adventurous pilgrim threw ourselves in the very cold waters in April. It was a moment of pure youth filling our souls and mind you, we were the oldest ones in the bunch. It was a great experience.
Thanks for showing every emotion and trial along the way - you are really sharing the full experience, rather than the rose-tinted hindsight version! The Camino is about a personal goal, and each to their own. It’s better to get a little assistance but make the distance, than push too hard and have to give up early on (my perspective anyway).
I feel like I got a bit of a shout out as you were giving the phonetic breakdown of your name!!! Loving these videos and just so awe inspired by your grit to do something like this! You go girl!!!
Also feel like with Spanish cities, they only get going around 6-7, and then they stay open till reallllly late. I think the camino is always a personal journey, no judgement.
Incredible watching your journey and the weather in real time. Has the weather changed quickly between August and September? So many hungry kittens and cats in everyone’s vlogs. It hurts my heart. Slowly slowly. Rest those hips. Where did you stay in Zubiri?
@@JaniceKlein-lj3up I books accommodation from Australia for first 4 nights then now just a few nights ahead. It’s busy on trail so weigh up on when to book ahead accordingly once you are here to get a better Camino experience. I stayed at auberrgue plaza catedral in Pamplona
I love seeing the views from the ground. 🤣🤣 So cute. ❤️

Where did you stay in Pamplona…and did you book your accommodations before you left Australia? Thanks for your reply.
