I like your reviewing style, you are well prepared and go straight to the point, no drama. I understand why you compared it to Fluke even though it is not totally fair but to our collective surprise it held its own and showed it can give reliable/accurate readings , a very useful tool for homeowners.
Thanks, I do try. I use the Fluke, because it can sort of set a baseline, even though this one hasn't been calibrated since it was purchased. Flukes aren't the best meters on the market, but are consistently reasonable.
Needed a second meter (two shops) and this looked like what I needed at a good price; so I got one. I like it, thanks!

This one has AC/DC clamp current measurement and really nice additional feature.
I use AstroAI CM4k0R : It's a clamp style meter that can read AC and even DC current!
Only 600v range. (says 600A max on the clamp). 4000 count, has min/max, capacitance readings, Frequency, Duty Cycle, Resistance, Diode, Continuity, AC/DC voltage, etc.. Has most of the same features including non-contact voltage, backlit screen, and even a flashlight at the clamp, etc... An AC amp clamp is common, but being able to read DC current through the clamp is awesome for only $30., You should snag one and do a review-- the clamp style current testing is always super handy. I'm not sure how precise it is measuring micro/nano range in voltage/ amps/ or even capacitance, etc. So it would be really cool to see you give it a shake down. If you don't have a clamp meter, this is a solid candidate for the money. cheers

I don't know how accurate it is, but it has some great features.
@@DudleyToolwright Yep, that's virtually the same one- if you look at the casing, they are almost exactly the same with only slight changes in the layout; but it's the same form factor. I bet it's using the same board and nearly all the same parts inside and is made in the same factory. It would be cool to peel them both apart side by side and compare the internals to see how similar they actually are.

I havent bought one or even look at whats available in a while, but that looks very decent for a daily driver.
I have several of these, non-us made multimeters and I am always surprised at the quality relative to price. I can't believe the Fluke 87 is $450+.
@@DudleyToolwright Yes, in the past 10-15 years or so the price of electronics have come way down, while the quality have gone way up. In fact for many things, mainly thanks to China. If it was left to us and Europe we would still be paying 10 times the price.
how's the backlighting if it has it. A lot of the ones I have looked at the backlighting is good for under 2 seconds and gets a lot of negative reviews due to that. I am in the market right now for a new one. My multimeter blew, and my old analog is having some issues that I have not been able to resolve.
I used the backlighting for a while and it was okay. I am sorry that I forgot to show that feature.
I think it's just fine. But honestly considering the feature set and insane accuracy, it's really hard to beat for the price.
thanks for the video now-days there's no reason to go with the high end players when you can go chines and get everything you need its not like your building a space ship lol

I use a Fluke almost every day. No way in hell would I trust the cheap multimeter at 1000 volts. How much is your life worth?
I probably would not either, especially if there was any kind of current behind it.
this is only for diyer, not for industrial use and of course no one in their right mind will use cheapo dmm on industrial environments, those are reserved for industrial dmm like flike, brymen and others. for diy, it's not worth to splurge on the fluke duhh
If you were comparing a meter to the Fluke you would be looking at BM869S BRYMEN or a Siglent but for $29 dollars it a good all round meter. Good review & a good video, I was going to joke and say did you read the user manual through & through. LMFIAO
I am familiar with the Siglent, but have never heard of the Brymen. I will have to look them up.
