Just felt nostalgic for Club Penguin today, this video was a great trip down memory lane! I have so many great memories, from playing all the mini games, going on “dates” in the game, doing chores around the house to pay for membership, and buying real life puffles that also have me rewards in the game. I still have the DS game Elite Penguin Force, sometimes I come back to get that sweet nostalgia.

I'm almost 18 years old. I've played club penguin since 2008, and I can tell you that those times were the best of all my life. Thank you club penguin, you made every kid experience so much enjoyment.

Damn watching this is a serious throwback. The nostalgia I'm experiencing right now goes unmatched. All I can think about is those wholesome ass days when nothing mattered except hanging out with friends and playing games, I love throwbacks like this because it reminds me of how I used to think I'd never grow up and would always be a kid. When that game was canceled I was actually was on the game when it shut down. When it gave me that message that the server was no longer available it felt like a part of me was gone...still sad to this day bruh

All I can say about club penguin is that it was legendary. I used to hop on my laptop when I was a little kid. I used to play around and get fashion. The game was so fun! That was all good and stuff, but the thing that really stool with me forever was the puffles. Black puffles, green puffles, even rainbow puffles for christ sake. I could only ever get the blue or red ones for a while, until there was the golden puffle came to the game. I spent a full month of my summer trying to get it. I spent so much time on my pc, I could hardly keep track of time. I was so happy to see that I actually got it, but what was it for? My summer time spent on grinding on club penguin? I knew that it was worthless irl, but by getting this really meant my whole life. The golden puffle I got from all those years ago still haunts my soul, I swear. I miss it so much, with all of that time spent for nothing. I gave it everything it wanted, and it got ended. I miss my puffle. His name was Trent. I miss him. It was so fun to see it happy and myself at the same time. Red in peace, Club Penguin, and Trent.

I met 1 club penguin celebrity when I was like 10. I was chillin in the town plaza and rockhopper spawned right next to me and started dancing. I was so excited I remember it like yesterday. It’s been 6 years since that happened lol
You can play a different version, its called Club Penguin Online and it’s basically the exact same game, but you can get everything without needing to pay for a membership. So if you wanna play CP again, then go make a new penguin on Club Penguin Online. Hope that helps
This video is literally a nostalgia train. I played the game for about 6 years, and was never a member. I used to get real happy whenever a big event came up, because that gave us non members some chance to buy good looking shit. For example, there was a Frozen event held which gave even the non members a massive ice palace as a igloo, along with some furniture, which I used throughout the game's running time. We non members used to use cheat codes so that we could get decent clothing items. I loved it when Club Penguin allowed even us non members to become Fire, Water and Snow ninjas (earlier you could only be a normal ninja as a non member). I also vividly remember using the money glitch to become a millionaire, only to realise that I couldn't use any of the money. Still, I always had something to do, and I never once found the game to be boring. I was either at the Dojo, at the EPF headquarters, or giving out tours, for the sake of it, and had something to do. Thank you Club Penguin for making my childhood so memorable. Edit: Holy shit thank you for so many likes!
I'm just seeing this video now, as Club Penguin Island will be shutting down too. I never played Club Penguin Island, but it reminds me of how sad I was when Club Penguin shut down. That game was my life when I was younger and it's sad that other kids can't experience the same thing.

the funnest club penguin things were those OLD secret agent missions and the way to go to the secret agent. You can to trick a camera and stuff, and the missions themselves were so fun(even though i couldn't solve them)
I got into Club Penguin in 2011 thanks to a friend, and when that iteration of Club Penguin ended, I died on the inside. Then I got to Club Penguin island, that’s okay. Then I got to Club Penguin online and that was the closest thing to the OG Club Penguin I could get. (EDIT: I also lost the D.S EPF game) (EDIT 2: I play Club Penguin Online until that got shutdown, now I’m on Club Penguin Rewritten)

So, I have a few personal stories about club penguin, but it’s gonna sound like I’m an 8 year-old making things up on the playground. I promise, both of the things I’m about to tell you are true. When I first started playing Club Penguin, I was in first grade. I didn’t have a membership or anything, but I put basically all of my time into the game, so I came to know it like the back of my hand. Club Penguin was pretty much the only thing I cared about. I made up stories about the game, I drew scenarios, I asked my parents for every Club Penguin thing I saw when we were at the store. (I actually had that same DS game you mentioned in the video.) One day, my best friend’s brother came to my house to pick him up. After telling him that we had been playing Club Penguin, he said that he actually knew someone who worked at the company. I got super excited, ran to my room and grabbed something I had drawn earlier: an idea for an Orange Puffle. (I had decided on Orange because it was the first color in the rainbow that didn’t have a puffle) The single piece of paper I grabbed listed only two things about the puffle, it was weird, and it had buck teeth. (I chose those two traits because I thought weird things were funny, and because I had seen an episode of the Disney Channel Hannah Montana show which had mentioned buck teeth one time and I thought it was hilarious) Now, even in my younger age, I didn’t actually believe that my best friend’s brother knew someone at Club Penguin. I figured he was just saying that to sound cooler to us. So imagine my surprise when later that year, Club Penguin announces that, not only are they adding Orange Puffles, but that they have Buck Teeth, and they’re extremely “Zany” as they put it. Obviously my immeadiate reaction was to buy this new Puffle I had created, but there was a problem - I wasn’t a memeber. After a while, I managed to convince my parents to buy me a membership for the game, and since the account was linked to /my/ email and not either of theirs, (they didn’t want to get any more emails than they already did) the confirmation email came to me. Now, despite performing well in school, I wasn’t actually that smart of a kid outside of numbers and letters, so upon being told by an email that I was now a member, I sent a reply saying “THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!” A bunch of times in as big of letters as the email software would let me. Luckily for me, the Club Penguin staff was excellent, and replied to my reply, saying they were happy I was so excited. From that point onward, I continued emailing back and forth with the support team, each time talking to a different person, but not really caring and continuing like we were having a progressive conversation. As new things came out in the game, I would tell them about interesting things I did or ideas I had, and I would always get pleasant reply. Then one day, I noticed that the only way to get to the Mine was through the map. I preferred to manually walk to places, so the fact that I had to open the map to get there bugged me a bit. Around the same time, one of the April Fool’s Day parties happened, and the forest area connecting one of the plazas and the beach was flipped upside-down. In an email, I proposed to the Club Penguin team that after the party was over, some of the trees wouldn’t properly flip back over, thus revealing a path between the forest and mine, and making it possible to walk there. While it didn’t happen quite as fast as I had hoped it would, within a couple weeks, some trees had been removed from the edge of the forest, and a path to the mine had been unveiled. Long story short, the Club Penguin team was an excellent group of people, and they made my experience with the game feel truly magical. Like everyone else, I was sad to see it go.
Chomuggaacapri that's so cool, I was thinking of emailing club penguin and asking if they could add a feature where you can customise your puffle's personality and features, like making a red puffle have buck teeth like an orange puffle and being shy like a white puffle. I thought this was a really good idea but I was too scared to contact them lol
The only proof that exists is years old emails on an old computer in my house, and I'm not sending you those. I would have nothing to gain from lying about this.
1.) Why would I, A High Schooler, lie about a game I played when I was 8 years old and that no longer exists? What would I have to gain from telling a bunch of strangers lies in this situation? I'm not so desperate for validation as to lie about something as trivial as a few small in-game changes like that. 2.) How exactly am I supposed to give you proof? Everything said in that comment was from mostly from memory, as well as from digging through a couple years old emails on my parents' old computer. The only physical proof that exists is that email chain, so what am I supposed to do, send you the entire thing?

I remember about a glitch that makes you have a membership forever. You have to buy 2 of this 1 year membership cards that are like XBox gold cards but of Club Penguin in a store, it must be like that because the card makes the game read the days you have left, and it will read that you have a full year of membership, if you use the monthly membership it won't work because it will only read a month of membership until you pay for the next month. The glitch happens when you put 2 memberships at the same account in less than a week. Club Penguin can only read a limit of something around 400 days of membership, so if you insert 2 full years memberships in less that a week or so it will make your account glitch out and make you have an infinite amount of days of membership. An important part was that you must let a day pass before insert the 2nd membership, that's because the game reads 365 days of membership as 1 year of membership, so if you put the two of them at the same day instead of read +400 days and glitch out, it will read 2 years, and it won't glitch. I just realized that I was an 8 year old Hackerman

10:26 Sorry to hear that, man. I actually owned both Elite Penguin Force games as a kid, and I got it to work really easily. Of course, I had my DS set up to to Wi-Fi long beforehand, so it's not like the concept was new to me. Spoiler alert, it wasn't very practical. You could only transfer up to 2000 coins a day. So yeah, it was nice, but it was nothing more than a gimmick.
This was such a big part of my childhood. Im a teenager now and when I look back, I just see fun. Im going to tell my kids that this was the best game ever created. It was an honor having this game be a part of my life

i used to use a hack where you would wait about 20 minutes and it would give you 10000000 coins per time. and the hack would let you run multible accounts at once and have them all act as a bot. so i used to have them all tell people to visit my igloo lmfao. man i kinda miss them days

Club Penguin... Played from I say 1st grade to 4th grade, a solid 4 years and then from that I moved on to CPPS's with my old CP friends (CPPS=Club Penguin Private Server- just a Club Penguin that you could swear in. Edgy.) I was introduced by my sisters friend Mary, as I was pissing them off while my sister was having a sleepover so Mary got me on Club Penguin to leave them alone. Damn, did it work. I miss Rocketsnail. His ideas for Club Penguin were golden- I played maybe a year before Disney bought it, and his party's were the best and I genuinely loved when he was in control. Disney made things a little worse in my opinion, but overall I felt they did a good job with my game. During Disney I met people. A lot older than me, yeah, but I always pretend to be a teenager too. At times I wonder if they knew how old I really was, but I actually don't think so. I went on to other chat servers with them and still remember them to this day- Hannah/Sunriseraise, ping, camp, king, tina, Q (who made this pfp i have and haven't changed since back then)... Paid for memberships for so long it's kind of funny. I seriously miss the times before school I would hop on CP half awake then come home to see my friends online. I miss eagerly waiting for Rockhopper to come to the island, seeing his boat come closer and closer through the telescope on the balcony. I miss the Herbert missions when they were super exciting (Disney somewhat ruined that). I miss the old Everyday Phone Facility and how it got blown up, I miss the daily newspapers, I miss Aunt Arctic (what a clever name). I miss grinding for the black belt, beating the Sensei, making it to the exclusivee ninja room. I miss when they updated it to have fire, water, and ice. That was so fun! I got the fire and water belts but never snow. I regret that. I remember the volcano, I would stay up until 12 begging to stay up JUST in case it exploded at midnight! I would play games in igloos to find the teleporting cardboard box to the purple dimension, I remember waiting for new puffles, I remember the different parties, the underwater party, the fiesta, the april fools days. I miss the old games, grinding forever to buy that clothing I loved. I miss finding all the tiny secrets in the gift shop. I remember back in 2011 trying to tip the iceberg, gathering people from everywhere to tip the iceberg, having the tiny hope and faith it was possible when now it was obvious they intended it to be the finale. I miss when there was a famous penguin in a room, and the room was full so you had to spam on the room to try and get in to get that stamp and to meet that person... I miss my friends whom I haven't talked to in probably 3 years. I miss Club Penguin. It genuinely enriched me. Waddle on.

I spent so much time on my pc, I could hardly keep track of time. I was so happy to see that I actually got it, but what was it for? My summer time spent on grinding on club penguin? I knew that it was worthless irl, but by getting this really meant my whole life. The golden puffle I got from all those years ago still haunts my soul, I swear. I miss it so much, with all of that time spent for nothing. I gave it everything it wanted, and it got ended. I miss my puffle. His name was Trent. I miss him. This video is literally a nostalgia train. I played the game for about 6 years, and was never a member. I used to get real happy whenever a big event came up, because that gave us non members some chance to buy good looking shit. For example, there was a Frozen event held which gave even the non members a massive ice palace as a igloo, along with some furniture, which I used throughout the game's running time. We non members used to use cheat codes so that we could get decent clothing items. I loved it when Club Penguin allowed even us non members to become Fire, Water and Snow ninjas (earlier you could only be a normal ninja as a non member). I also vividly remember using the money glitch to become a millionaire, only to realise that I couldn't use any of the money. Still, I always had something to do, and I never once found the game to be boring. I was either at the Dojo, at the EPF headquarters, or giving out tours, for the sake of it, and had something to do.
Thank you Club Penguin for making my childhood so memorable.

I got into Club Penguin in 2011 thanks to a friend, and when that iteration of Club Penguin ended, I died on the inside. Then I got to Club Penguin island, that’s okay. Then I got to Club Penguin online and that was the closest thing to the OG Club Penguin I could get. (EDIT: I also lost the D.S EPF game) (EDIT 2: I play Club Penguin Online until that got shutdown, now I’m on Club Penguin Rewritten)

So, I have a few personal stories about club penguin, but it’s gonna sound like I’m an 8 year-old making things up on the playground. I promise, both of the things I’m about to tell you are true.
When I first started playing Club Penguin, I was in first grade. I didn’t have a membership or anything, but I put basically all of my time into the game, so I came to know it like the back of my hand. Club Penguin was pretty much the only thing I cared about. I made up stories about the game, I drew scenarios, I asked my parents for every Club Penguin thing I saw when we were at the store. (I actually had that same DS game you mentioned in the video.)
One day, my best friend’s brother came to my house to pick him up. After telling him that we had been playing Club Penguin, he said that he actually knew someone who worked at the company. I got super excited, ran to my room and grabbed something I had drawn earlier: an idea for an Orange Puffle. (I had decided on Orange because it was the first color in the rainbow that didn’t have a puffle) The single piece of paper I grabbed listed only two things about the puffle, it was weird, and it had buck teeth. (I chose those two traits because I thought weird things were funny, and because I had seen an episode of the Disney Channel Hannah Montana show which had mentioned buck teeth one time and I thought it was hilarious)
Now, even in my younger age, I didn’t actually believe that my best friend’s brother knew someone at Club Penguin. I figured he was just saying that to sound cooler to us. So imagine my surprise when later that year, Club Penguin announces that, not only are they adding Orange Puffles, but that they have Buck Teeth, and they’re extremely “Zany” as they put it. Obviously my immeadiate reaction was to buy this new Puffle I had created, but there was a problem - I wasn’t a memeber.
After a while, I managed to convince my parents to buy me a membership for the game, and since the account was linked to /my/ email and not either of theirs, (they didn’t want to get any more emails than they already did) the confirmation email came to me.
Now, despite performing well in school, I wasn’t actually that smart of a kid outside of numbers and letters, so upon being told by an email that I was now a member, I sent a reply saying “THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!” A bunch of times in as big of letters as the email software would let me. Luckily for me, the Club Penguin staff was excellent, and replied to my reply, saying they were happy I was so excited. From that point onward, I continued emailing back and forth with the support team, each time talking to a different person, but not really caring and continuing like we were having a progressive conversation. As new things came out in the game, I would tell them about interesting things I did or ideas I had, and I would always get pleasant reply.
Then one day, I noticed that the only way to get to the Mine was through the map. I preferred to manually walk to places, so the fact that I had to open the map to get there bugged me a bit. Around the same time, one of the April Fool’s Day parties happened, and the forest area connecting one of the plazas and the beach was flipped upside-down. In an email, I proposed to the Club Penguin team that after the party was over, some of the trees wouldn’t properly flip back over, thus revealing a path between the forest and mine, and making it possible to walk there.
While it didn’t happen quite as fast as I had hoped it would, within a couple weeks, some trees had been removed from the edge of the forest, and a path to the mine had been unveiled.
Long story short, the Club Penguin team was an excellent group of people, and they made my experience with the game feel truly magical. Like everyone else, I was sad to see it go.
Chomuggaacapri that's so cool, I was thinking of emailing club penguin and asking if they could add a feature where you can customise your puffle's personality and features, like making a red puffle have buck teeth like an orange puffle and being shy like a white puffle. I thought this was a really good idea but I was too scared to contact them lol

1.) Why would I, A High Schooler, lie about a game I played when I was 8 years old and that no longer exists? What would I have to gain from telling a bunch of strangers lies in this situation? I'm not so desperate for validation as to lie about something as trivial as a few small in-game changes like that.
2.) How exactly am I supposed to give you proof? Everything said in that comment was from mostly from memory, as well as from digging through a couple years old emails on my parents' old computer. The only physical proof that exists is that email chain, so what am I supposed to do, send you the entire thing?

I remember about a glitch that makes you have a membership forever.
You have to buy 2 of this 1 year membership cards that are like XBox gold cards but of Club Penguin in a store, it must be like that because the card makes the game read the days you have left, and it will read that you have a full year of membership, if you use the monthly membership it won't work because it will only read a month of membership until you pay for the next month. The glitch happens when you put 2 memberships at the same account in less than a week. Club Penguin can only read a limit of something around 400 days of membership, so if you insert 2 full years memberships in less that a week or so it will make your account glitch out and make you have an infinite amount of days of membership. An important part was that you must let a day pass before insert the 2nd membership, that's because the game reads 365 days of membership as 1 year of membership, so if you put the two of them at the same day instead of read +400 days and glitch out, it will read 2 years, and it won't glitch.

I actually owned both Elite Penguin Force games as a kid, and I got it to work really easily. Of course, I had my DS set up to to Wi-Fi long beforehand, so it's not like the concept was new to me.

Club Penguin... Played from I say 1st grade to 4th grade, a solid 4 years and then from that I moved on to CPPS's with my old CP friends (CPPS=Club Penguin Private Server- just a Club Penguin that you could swear in. Edgy.) I was introduced by my sisters friend Mary, as I was pissing them off while my sister was having a sleepover so Mary got me on Club Penguin to leave them alone. Damn, did it work.
I miss Rocketsnail. His ideas for Club Penguin were golden- I played maybe a year before Disney bought it, and his party's were the best and I genuinely loved when he was in control. Disney made things a little worse in my opinion, but overall I felt they did a good job with my game.
During Disney I met people. A lot older than me, yeah, but I always pretend to be a teenager too. At times I wonder if they knew how old I really was, but I actually don't think so. I went on to other chat servers with them and still remember them to this day-

I got the fire and water belts but never snow. I regret that. I remember the volcano, I would stay up until 12 begging to stay up JUST in case it exploded at midnight! I would play games in igloos to find the teleporting cardboard box to the purple dimension, I remember waiting for new puffles, I remember the different parties, the underwater party, the fiesta, the april fools days. I miss the old games, grinding forever to buy that clothing I loved. I miss finding all the tiny secrets in the gift shop. I remember back in 2011 trying to tip the iceberg, gathering people from everywhere to tip the iceberg, having the tiny hope and faith it was possible when now it was obvious they intended it to be the finale. I miss when there was a famous penguin in a room, and the room was full so you had to spam on the room to try and get in to get that stamp and to meet that person...
