Archival footage shot by an amateur filmmaker while visiting Mexico in 1983.
It contains stock footage of Mexico City: traffic in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral and Plaza de la Constitución, people visiting the Museo Mural Diego Rivera, pedestrians walking in front of the Cathedral of the Assumption, the Templo Mayor (former Aztec temple), street scenes with 1980s cars driving in the city, a flower market, students visiting the Fuente Diego Rivera, the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe and people kneeling in front of it, traffic near the exit of Indios Verdes on the Mexico-Pachuca highway, the Estadio Olímpico Universitario, the Library of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the Floating Gardens of Xochimilco, and more.

Min 7:55 Es la salida de Indios Verdes rumbo a la autopista México Pachuca, por allá de 1990 es cuando ampliaron ese tramo a 5 carriles por cada lado.
