I miss SimCopter. It didn't age well, but that fact that you could make a city in SimCity and then play it in SimCopter blew my 8 year old mind.
I see no reason why this shouldn't exist for games SimCity 4 or Cities Skylines.

Darien Seminoff WHO has an control that defaults to a (F***ing) button that MOST MICE DON'T HAVE! Mouse 4 is a button that some mice have on the side! AND ive only seen the button on the side of mice that comes with only WINDOWS (F***ing) "XP" !

As bad as the game is N³ seems to be having a fair amount of fun with this it. If you skip to like halfway through the vid and just listen to his tone of voice it's pretty similar to that of a FW or plays video.
I think his only issue is the lag p, and poor optimization.
Sometimes if you dislike a game enough, it becomes entertaining.

I feel like a lot of the lag might've come from the calculation of where the trees should orient themselves. I noticed that the tree textures orient toward the helicopter instead of the camera, so they aren't actually just textures, they are full objects with their own scripts running to figure out where to face. Basically, a billion trees with a billion scripts = lag.

I don't understand the problem with the loading spinny thing. Dan kept saying it made no sense, yet I thought the only purpose of it was so you knew if your pc had frozen or whether it was actually doing something. As long as it moves it should work as a loading symbol.
Yea it works for that but the bars aren't supposed to spin like that they are supposed to do the thing where it fades and it looks like it spins but really it's just you know.

It was supposed to be implemented in the same fashion as my post, however instead they took the photo that is supposed to be radially transposed and just spun it. It's unorthodox and unprofessional.

Actually Dan, landing the helicopter there would be pretty bad, for one it's a sloped surface making it a tricky (but not impossible) landing, and you run the risk of the helicopter sliding away down the hill or rolling over because choppers tend to be quite top heavy, and a 2nd, more dangerous point, is that you don't know the condition of the ground down there, it could be marshy and your helicopter might just sink. Also it tends to be quicker irl to winch a casualty up, assuming they don't need any medical attention on the ground, than land. Though, having said all the issues with landing you could use what is know as a pintel landing, i.e you hover so that your skid is just touching the ground but not taking any weight, this takes a lot of precision and skill from the pilot, and this game from what I can see is nowhere near up to handling that level of awesome badassery.
I think Dan needs a new category, something like "they tried" or "on our way to hell" mabye? Because this game didn't have as many problems as the other hell games. Just throwing my idea out there.
Although this deserves to be in the Hell series, I do think its better than quite a lot of simulators

I will say, that this is one of the "better" simulators, better than farm simulator or snowcat simulator surely

One game I'd like to see Dan play is Demolition Company. Basically you demolish stuff like apartments, smoke stacks, train stations and it has addons. It runs on the same engine as Farm Sim, but it has really nice physics.

While it would be cool to see him try War Thunder(and it could help bolster the dying community) it's a bit of a more involved, long-term-ish game. Not really a game to just pick up and play, which is what Dan does with most of the games he does videos on. It would be cool for him to give it a go and see what he could do but I'm not sure if it would really make for a decent video, unless he put some time into it beforehand.
And should you be reading this Dan, when asked about it on a livestream you said you thought it was a tank game or something, which isn't quite correct; it's primarily a semi-realistic(depending on the mode) WW2 plane PvP(with some not-so-good single player stuff tacked on), with a somewhat good tank PvP in beta.

This would actually be acceptable at 3-5$ if you had an interest in search and rescue.
If the performance issues were resolved, if the physics were improved, if the resolution on some of the textures was increased, if it had a proper loading bar, if the controls made any sense (mouse4 to look up? i lold), if the rescue mechanics made slightly more sense, if you didn't go blind if you had both Depth of Field and motion blur on...
...i'm sure you get the point.

It is interesting to see developers using motion blur and thinking we be like: Damn, those are amazing graphics. I mean it looks kinda neat but honestly it is not changing the resolution of the textures or the details of the models.

This game is kind of sad because it really looks like someone did put a lot of time and effort into it, but just was inexperienced and beyond their scope.

This reminds me of SimCopter. A lot more modular than SimCopter, but still.
It's not too bad compared to other sims, but I think Dan might be a bit harsh on them for no reason at times. He never complained about how minecraft doesn't rain right on you, if you look up while it's raining you see the block you're on doesn't have rain.
