Hey @gmoriano, the area definitely doesn't hold the size of fish of the Gold Coast south... maybe water depth... doesn't have the quality deep water spawning areas... maybe water temp or conditions. Anything 60+ is big for the area... with a few 70's and 80's caught each year. Definitely not the area to target monster flathead, but still good fun. If you're chasing the big ones hit the Gold Coast south into NSW. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin
Hey @ynots0625, Hope all's well and you're finding a fish. Yep, just a channel where Sheri and I share our adventures and sessions with friends. Stay tuned for plenty more. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin
Hey @andrewjohnson1896, hope all's well and you're finding a fish. I always stress to people techniques over spots, as fish move around and conditions and seasons change. These same techniques, as you refine them, will catch you fish pretty much Australia wide... vary the aggressiveness and speed of the retrieve and focus your attention on key structure and bait. Most of our fishing is done in the rivers and creeks from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast... but I'm happy to fish anywhere. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin
Hey @bigtrippy4970, Hope all's well and you're finding a fish. American brand, made in America, so running with how they pronounce their brand. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin
@willadventure2023 heading out soon mate going to try some of your tips ! I shouldn't let pronunciation get to me but after serving twelve years in the Army and working with yanks regularly i hate seeing Australia slowly becoming another state of America sorry for my rant.
Hey@@bigtrippy4970, no stress mate... I get it. Long time Aussie music lover and supporter... and proud Australian right here... a few of my family have served and I thank them and yourself for the service. Sending big fish vibes. Fish on! Cheers, Justin
So what’s the go with that area. Is because shallow water way or pro nettings on why there’s no proper lizards?
