Yet another very interesting travelog on gravel. Interesting if obscure Tuskeegee history. When I was a Physics graduate student at Auburn in the mid 60's the physics dept made arangements with Tuskeegee for one of their students to come over to Auburn to study Physics. He was in the Physics lab I taught and wound up being the first Afro American Auburn graduate.
A cold December morning made warm and cozy with a hot cup of coffee and your hot weather ride in rural Alabama. Thank you! I saddened by the abandoned houses and boarded businesses in Alabama's small towns.
Those gas pumps must be worth some good coin, I'm surprised they haven't been stolen. Antique restoration would love to have them, if they haven't been restored already .

The vine appears to be Kudzu, imported from Japan, planted in the 30's in the South to control erosion. Reputed to grow as you watch it.
