We are happy that you like our products! Great video 😀
Im very impressed with PB swiss quality. I have been a cabinet maker for over 26 years and recently bought a set of philips and straight. They are the best I have owned in all that time.
Mills they got you a sponsor deal yet or what??
PB is for sure the classiest act in the screwdriver universe !
I’m telling ya 😜 you ruined me man!!
@@MillisConstruction If I ever get somebody hooked , you bet it will be on the best stuff ! I’m also glad you are steering folks to PB , and The Tool Lady !
@@MillisConstruction I fear Mrs. Millis may put out a contract on me !
I have that bit set. It’s fantastic!
As someone else mentioned, the green bits are Pozidriv and are not really interchangeable with Philips. Not without risking damaged screw heads, at least. Pozidriv are really common over here in the UK / Europe. Nice that PB provided different colours in this set. Not only is it useful, it always brings a smile when you open the lid! 😁
Your enthusiasm is contagious! I'm excited to receive my first PB swiss tool (a ratcheting driver with bit holder)
Hopefully you get it quickly, a lot of things are having stocking problems with the shipping issues these days 😅 I liked that driver so much I got a second one!
@@MillisConstruction fingers crossed. (I'm in east asia so I can't use the channels you usually mention.)
PB Swiss also seems to be my favorite brand, overall. I pretty much like all the same stuff you do, which is why I enjoy watching your channel.
I don’t think Ive seen a tool roll that small before. I like that.
I find 2.5mm and 3.5 mm fit all the thermostats I’ve ever come across.
Your presentations are always excellent!
Thanks a lot! I totally missed the volume issue on this one somehow though 😅
Got my pb swiss screwdrivers about two weeks ago, and I love the comfort grip
Nice tool haul Josef 😎🛠️😎🛠️😎
Just bought the heavy duty swiss grip screwdriver set...the black striking cap type. Yep pricey at DRPD but was in stock. Hard to find what I want in PB Swiss at any of the three distributors in the states. Can't price shop, you see it in stock, better click-out. Again at DRPD bought the All Rounder screwdriver tool roll a couple of weeks ago. I need all of the VDE screwdrivers, including the slim type and I think I'll be set. Already have full set of PB Swiss precision drivers. Oh, that's right, I need both the long and shorter ratchet screwdriver handle. Yep, that's all I need, those tools and this matchbook.....and this lamp. ;-)
You sound like me 🤣🔥🔧
@@MillisConstruction ha you mean 💵🔥=🪛
@@MillisConstruction 🤣
Nice haul , I love the multibit terminal driver , I’ve used it for everything from Potts. and eyeglasses !
Sorry about the volume on this one, not sure what happened but I’ll get it right next time 😅
Here’s another great PB Swiss Haul! ruclips.net/video/WbkQ-YNfxMg/видео.html
I've got a fairly comprehensive set of PB Swiss electrical screwdrivers - I went for the slim classic style, although I also bought the 5.5mm slotted in Swiss Grip style, because the classic one tended to slip through the holster in my Veto tool pouch (can't remember what it's called - the smaller one that fastens to your belt). I'm not a massive fan of weird and wonderful 'ergo' handles so I find the simple, classic approach PB take very much to my liking! I've got an eye to the insulated electrical interchangeable blade sets too when there're some available here in the UK.
You must spend a fortune on tools--all high quality!
But I enjoy every minute of it 😁🔥🔧
Awesome review !!! Thanks
My ultimate thermostat driver is the Klein 14 in 1 precision driver. It’s like the classic 11/10 in 1’s, but there’s like 5 different small nut driver sizes, and it’s handle is larger than their other precision handles, but smaller than their regular handles
@Dan Runnheim I’m not sure what you’re asking, but it’s part # 32314, it does have a very nice slim 1/4 nut driver on one side though
I love my PB Swiss Screwdrivers, Hex Keys, and Punches/Chisels. Sure they are pricey but they are worth every penny to my mind. The bits are on a completely different level though. I bought the 10 piece E6 set a few months ago and the quality is beyond even what I had hoped for from all the reviews etc. My Wera bits are great and I have a bunch of Milwaukee Shockwave stuff that is a hell of a workhorse. But the PB Swiss bits are ...how can I put this? The Wera bits are a like a Lamborghini. Pretty amazing until you try the PB Swiss Bugatti/Koenigsegg. Seriously, once you try them it's pretty obvious why the other side of their business is making drivers etc for surgeons. And the Tool Lady is great, Kelly Ann is a rock star to us tool nerds!
Yes she is!
I have to agree, the prices seem extreme but they’re like chips lol. Can’t buy just one 😅
Love the PB Swiss brand - worth the wait on backorders. I am still waiting on a couple things I bought on Black Friday...but not disappointed on anything I have picked up from the Tool Lady. Agree on the bits - best I have ever used. Not cheap, but quality never is - plus it works out to just a few dollars per bit and they last a looong time - so not as bad when you look at it that way.
I’m jealous of all your tools man! You’ll have to let us know how the different precision drivers compare to each other. I love watching your videos.👍 I’m an electrician and do a ton of controls. So I like quality screwdrivers and strippers
You have a great screen name too 😁🔥
I sure will!
I’m working on trying to make more videos like you do but I don’t have equipment really. Just my phone and a stand that’s a bit wonky.
@@notenoughtools2260 I made my first 102 video or so with my phone and a little $25 mannfrotto tripod, it’s a journey for sure.
I’m just filming on this one here with a Canon M50 with kit lens and a Rode VideoMic NTG on top of a garage sale Mannfrotto nice tripod but I did get that part for $20 😅
Lighting and audio are the most important things. I started with jobsite lighting re purposed and then went to a cheap maybe $50 Neewer Amazon light. Now it’s an Aputure 120d MK2 with a Light Dome 150 on it.
It’s just like collecting tools, one piece at a time and it’ll keep improving 😁 keep on keeping on!! It’ll be worth it!
I'm a control technician. I work with a micro driver everyday. I've used wera, wiha, felo, and klein. For multi bit the klein 4 in 1 is hard to beats. Tons of my co workers use them. I keep one in my bag for it's versatility. The klein pocket version has a metal clip that I found annoying. Felo is my favorite. It's rebranded from bahco and we know bahco is snap-on. So theyre the exact ones on the snap-on truck. I said that to say the quality is definitely there.
That is one of maybe two Klein tools that I still use. I have it in my TP bag. Great little driver for sure!
I broke several of my Klein drivers in the couple years that I really tried them out and quickly drifted away to Wera after that. (I did not break the thermostat driver, just the standard sizes with the black grips that they have.)
I’ve heard good things about Felo, I should probably try some of theirs!
I only typically use a PH1, SL2.5, and HX2.5 so I just got those three precision drivers with Swiss grip and love them. If you don’t need tons of bit variation maybe give them a try b
Hi there from Switzerland! Love your PB unboxing videos. Have you tried the electronics screwdrivers before?
I haven’t yet
I have purchased a few PB Swiss tools to see what they are like. One of those was the small C6 set of bits and whilst the bits are fine, the case fell to bits on me after it had been opened and closed a few times. Availability on PB Swiss isn't that good in the uk either, not many sellers and limited stocks, so prices tend to remain high.
I gave you an upvote just for using the word whilst.
@@nachoisme Thanks! 👍👍
Great video but the audio is very low, just wanted you to be aware of that.
Dang. Not sure what was done different on this one.
Do you still use and like the PB Swiss 53 Teleskop set?
I like those little drivers. I picked up a black handled slotted, a set of picks and the stubby insider. The stubby is really impressive and pleasant to use. The picks are flawless and seem very strong for their size. Waiting on the ratcheting stubby and the non racheting black insider. Not sure about the racheting stubby. How have you been liking it?
I like it, it’s a bit long for a stubby but quality is definitely there like all the pb tools. I think I did a length comparison back on the Wera ratcheting stubby video here: ruclips.net/video/KBHu8jIv7yM/видео.html
@@MillisConstruction i decided to not get the ratchet stubby and got a 6510.20 instead, the 10 in 1 bit holder. Really like it, a little stiff to open and i wish it was a soft grip but really good fit and finish. The 169 is really slick and lives in my pocket now. Thanks for the suggestions!
I think the green pb Swiss bits are pozidrive not phillips.
Edit: awesome video. I’d not seen most of those precision drivers before. Do you know if they offer any of that in Swiss grip?
You’re probably right. Fortunately I finally found a use for my pozis. Never had seen one until I started a lot more commercial work, now they’re an everyday thing 😅
I’m not sure on the Swiss grip on a micro driver, I’d have to do some hunting. Right now it’s kind of if it’s in stock it gets ordered. Things are getting a bit tough to get at the moment!
Which one ended up being your go to driver for thermostats?
I've been waiting 6 months for my ratcheting screwdrivers and still haven't received them.
I think that’s about how long it’s been on my punch set. Shipping these days is a nightmare
I love the PB Swiss bits, but the handles are just way to small for my hands. It sucks.
Comfort is super important! Do you use the Wera grips or is another type better for that?
Could you tell me the width of the PB swiss blades? I'm curious if I could use the PB swiss handle with my Wiha 4mm blades.
I owned the ratcheting screwdriver and ended up selling it back in ebay for the same price i paid when used, i wasn't a big fan of the thicker than usual shaft or the feeling of the plastic bit holder in the handle, after a long time using i really missed the chunky comfortable Snap on handles, i also owned the Wera ratcheting ones and their handles are terrible on my large hands they feel like they were made for a child to hold.
To each their own for sure! I got to use some snap on drivers and wasn’t a fan of them at all. The blocky handles just aren’t my feel I guess. I do not have large hands either though so I’m sure that affects it. I never purchased one after trying them.
On the other hand this is my third pb swiss ratchet driver so I’m very unlikely to find anything I like better at this point. I do have a bunch of the Wera ones also but their ratcheting versions don’t really compare to pb swiss either unfortunately. Have a great weekend!!
@@MillisConstruction In terms of premium feel PB swiss is better then any by far, but when using it i remember going back to the toolbox a bunch of times for a thinner shaft specially when putting up curtain handles, any other ratcheting would have fitted the pb swiss was just slightly too thick in the shaft to reach the screw, also the contour lines on the magazine on the handle used to dig into my hands and i felt it after a while using, the premium feel alone wasn't enough to justify it's place in my box. Also quite interesting, i remember somebody from Pb swiss texting me on Ebay asking why i was selling it and going back to Snap on as i wrote on description and i explaned that to them, they were happy with the response and promised to take into consideration on later designs, what are the chances of that? The company really cares by the looks of it.
🤓👍
Man I'd really like to try some of PB Swiss tools but they seem pretty hard to find here in the states. I've checked KC tools and Amazon and can't seem to find the drivers I'm looking for. Been looking for PB 8510 R-100 and the new PB6464 8 in 1. Any other retailers you can point me to that carriers a large selection of PB Swiss?
They’ve gotten to be a challenge the last few months. I’ll see if I can find another supplier. I get most of mine from tool lady but she’s been out of stock on most stuff the last couple months
@@MillisConstruction Much appreciated
Am I the only one that can't hear the audio?
I boycott amazon
I recommend www.ToolLady.com for PB Swiss. That’s where I buy all mine 😊
