      With that disclaimer about blank username/pass, have you seen cases where High Level thinks an existing membership user is actually a new membership user? Just wondering whether I need to include it.

    Thank you, very insightful, and I truly appreciate your work, you've been a tremendeous help. I am though still kind of in the dark with the domain (10:00 within the timeline) and how would I go about giving access to my existing members that had access on another platform? Would really appreciate a response. Blessing to you mate.

      Bro For the domain setup, you’ll need to confiigure a custom domain within GoHighevel to host your membership site. As for giving access to existing members from another platform, you can manually import them or set up an integration (like Zapier) to transfer user data into GoHighLevel. You could also use CSV uploads for bulk member import.

    Thank you so much for this well detailed and explained video. However, do you think we still need this solution? There's a "Send Offer Access Email" in the product setting now. Please let me know

      We have in some cases the new offer selection does not work , so this methid still is required. @techlifetube

    Your videos are the only thing that helps me understand memberships & communities! Thank you!
    Is it possible to restrict access to some courses based on how long someone has been a member? We want to have a monthly tool/training, and only people who are members for that month can get it. But after that month is over, I want to 'archive' it and those who were members that month can access that archive. I'm having a hard time figuring out if that can work.

      Not that I know of, once a member they have access to all the of it unless you divide each moth to a seperate course but it will be a very big pain in the butt

      You should be able to remove them from the community

    How has all of this changed with the new communities stuff and the new password management? Do you still need offers to bundle products or just include them in the community?
    If the courses are only in the community, do you still need payment products for them to buy it or can we just grant the community?
    And what about when someone cancels their membership - how do they do that and how do revoke their access?

    Hi, thanks for the video, it was very helpful. However I do have one question. How do I make it so that all this process is triggered when a person clicks on a specifc button? Like, I have my official website and I have a button that says "Get the course now". I want that when someone clicks there, they're able to purchase the course (for which, correct me if I'm wrong, I believe I need to create a funnel with an Order Now and a Thank You page) and once they've done that what you've shown in this video happens. How does that work?

    Question: I want to do reward programs for restaurants, can I create a "membership" and so every person that scan a QR code and redeem the reward they can't use it again or the same phone number at least. Is that possible? or am I thinking off on something else. And if im thinking it the wrong way please guide me thankkk youuu soo much, and btw loveeeee your content

    Can you sell services in there? And therefore attach a calendar link so when people want to by a course, its payment and schedule?

      So you kinda can do it straight from the order then to a calednar after they purchase, as one way

    This is amazing until i ran into a problem. The contact password. login url, and username won't show up on emails. tried on 3 different email addresses but they still don't show up :( is this common? I don't see much of this online

      The password will only show the first time a user join the members area, after that you have to instruct them to reset thier passwod if they already are part of your members area

    do you have a video on setting up an automation to restrict membership access if a payment fails? ex: membership is $9.99 a month, system goes to bill and payment fails. is there a way to restrict access to the program until payment is received? and then optimally regain access when payment is made? TIA

      no but highlevel just released cancel and failed triggers so now you should be able to create an automation on thjat

    Hey, bro how to add the Calendly calendar to the automation (appointment confirmation, reminder, and follow-up workflow)? I have tried it but there is no option to connect the Calendly calendar to the Automation.
    I think I need to integrate Calendly into GHL using Zapier or any other software.
    Or should I use the GHL calendar for the appointments?

    Hey does this work for courses provided in a a community group?
    Trying to figure out a way to automate login details to a membership community group where inside I have the course.
    1. Does this method work for communities login details
    2. Do I need to give them membership access through the offer like you showed or will being inside a community automatically give them access to the course?

      And just to double check, so once they are granted access to the community they automatically get access the the products in the learning tab, and I don't need to grant offer access separately as shown here?

      So on the email that delivers the password you can pull the magic link, look at custom values and select course and you will see it in there

    The first purchase automation, ive done that, does it link to the new customer automation? Like when they buy the form they get a welcome email from the first automation, then does it automatically fire of the 2nd automation to send them thier password?

    I have added an option page to our courses. They sign up on the opt in. But then they get to the course sign up page. How do I edit this so that they don't double register. I sell products inside the courses

      Make sure allow for re-entry is off in the automation settings

      ​@@AutomatedMarketer Unfortunately my form wouldn't work with the automation so I had to create a very basic automation which was simply: Form submitted > add tag > Grant Access
      Not sure if it's because my course is free (lead magnet) so I didn't use a 1 step confirmation in my funnel and instead just a form haha

    I done this, I disables the option for a welcome email, BUT wheen i made my own email with the custom values for membership passwords, In the email it doesnt populate and nothing shows up! Im so confused can you help me please

      You can’t send the memberships password in the same workflow as you grant access also you can’t do a test and if you already have access you won’t send the password twice.
