Week 19 | Feeding a Small Family | Toast & A Big Party!

Thanks for stopping by to see what a week of realistic meals look like for a small family of two. This week has been crazy but also so much fun! I'm pretty sure I've spent about $400 in the last week and half on food, but that's ok. We hosted a huge end -of-the-school-year party on Saturday and Sunday is my husband's birthday so there has been a lot of celebrating. NO COMPLAINTS HERE. But we will be seriously eating down the pantry, fridges ad freezers in an effort to balance out the spend and not let the food go to waste.
We don't have a grocery budget but we do try to be mindful of building our meals based on what is already in the pantry. We don't like wasting food. If I have to throw food in the waste bin I see vacation dollars or gardening dollars being thrown away. I have big plans for both, because they both fill our cups❤️
