      HD 100546 is actually a star, not a planet. Gas giants turn into stars beyond a certain size threshold. In other words, there's an upper limit on how big a planet can be before nuclear fusion starts inside it and it becomes a star.

    • @dee-taylor
      @dee-taylor Год назад +9

      @@ThePocketMedic Without getting too nerdtastic here, HD 100546 is a star system but the exoplanet shown in this video (HD 100546 b) could be a forming companion star, a brown dwarf, a planetary disk fudging the data, or more than one planet. We aren't sure but the chances of it being one massive planet are dwindling as time goes on.

    • @rishabh7922
      @rishabh7922 Год назад +4

      You just admitted that Jupiter's core itself is more massive than earth, let alone the entire planet. So I think what you are attempting to discuss is the "density" of planets. Earth is in fact more dense than Jupiter. But saying that it is more massive would mean it had more total mass. Which is does not.

    • @maryann2628
      @maryann2628 Год назад

      Nanotubes vary in size between 0.4-40 nm
      But i will use 1 nm so its easier
      And the OBSERVABLE universe is 500,000,000,000,000,000 earths diameter
      Or 50 quintillion earth
      So if the earth is 1nm the OBSERVABLE universe is 50 million km
      And we dont know the entire universe size
      And humans would be only
      0.000001428 nanometers
      Or 0.01428 picometers
      And for a optical wavelength to see you even barely you have the be 160 nm
      So if you had a normal microscope you can't even see the sun at this scale Sirius would be barely visible
      And to be visible by a human you have to be 0.1 milimeters or 100 micrometers the object has to be 2 au so the type the star you could only see are red giant stars and blue giant star
