Is it possible to use these for my ps4 if I have a converter? I play on a monitor that has no built in speakers. I’m currently some RadioShack PC speakers/subwoofer with a converter
You can only adjust the brightness of the LEDs on the speaker, you can't change the colors. But in the LGS you can normally adjust one color that you wish.
pikkon38 Z906 isn’t recognised in the Logitech Gaming Software so everything you do to adjust it needs to be done through a third party equiliezer or software. Also the Z906 has more power and deeper bass. These speakers are cool and pack a punch definitely. If you want sureound sound, go with Z906 plus with those you have 6 ways or availability to connect 6 devices. If you are more down for 2.1 system, this is the way to go plus you have these cool lighting effects that make the whole room look like you are in the game. But for the conclusion, if you are an audio lover, go for Z906. You won’t be disapointed. They do need some adjustment, but perfect sound. Hope I helped. 😉
That is some good info. Ive have watch a lot of reviews about both systems and am having a hard time deciding, as no reviews directly compare the two, since one is true 5.1 and one is simulated. I definitely want surround sound, but i also like the idea of monitor sampling on these RGBs (i have a lot of rgb lighting). I also like the idea of less cables. I currently have an older 5.1 system now and surround is definitely important to me. Have you tried the simulated surround on these?
pikkon38 Actually no, because I got these for testing as a pre-production and their software was in Beta state. As for the cables, the 2.1 have less, but for the Z906 are so thin that you can hide them easily. People don’t compare directly since one is 2.1 and the other 5.1, well that are my thoughts on it and why people didn’t do that test. 😀
Mark Vincent Arcilla It doesn’t have a special option like that, but if it shows on your monitor on the left side, the left speaker will get a glance of red, for instance. It actually all depends on what colors show on the screen.
Mark Vincent Arcilla Haven’t tested Katana so I can’t be a judge of this duel. I can only say as I do in the video that the sound is crystal clear and the bass is awesome on these ones. 😉
I don't have the speakers with me anymore, but here is the text (since I can't copy the link) of the official Logitech website where is explains how to connect your device with G560: "Bluetooth: 1. With the speakers on, press and hold down the Bluetooth button on the back of the right satellite speaker for three seconds - you will hear a tone and the LED on the top front of the right satallite will blink blue rapidly. 2. On your Bluetooth device, activate Bluetooth and find and select the G560 Gaming Speaker from the Bluetooth devices list. 3. Once your speaker is connected to your device, the LED on the top front of the right satellite will turn solid blue. IMPORTANT: You may need to select the G560 speakers as the default audio output device in your operating system's sound settings."
G560 for the price and RGB effects. Really cool! Z906 for multiple connectivity, surround, sound and bass quality (much greater than G560, even though G560 isn’t bad). I personally own Z906! 😉
How bright are the lights? I often play in a dark room when gaming and or listening to music, so I am just curious about how strong the RGB lights are. Nice video by the way:)
IBradFrazer Thank you. :) Well you can adjust the brightness. The third level is way to much for me as well, but you can lower it down with that G button on top of the right speaker. And then it won’t bother you. After all, if you get sick of the lights, you can turn them off and enjoy the quality of the speakers. 😉
hey man would you mind telling me if they have a hissing sound cause i saw on reddit people complaining of a sound when the speaker wasnt playing anything
RICH PAINO I had that problem, but this was a pre-production mode and the drivers weren’t great on Beta version of it. They said they would fix everything when production version came out. That is the information I got from Logitech.
ah that makes sense now thank you one more question sorry if i play games that are non compatible like team fortress 2 can i manually sync the lights to the gun shots and health in game from the software?
RICH PAINO Well actually, it synchronizes colors with your screen so you don’t have to worry about it. Speakers extend colors of what is shown on your screen. 😉
Cornflakes Gaming To be honest, I don’t think it is meant for consoles when talking about the RGB because you can’t install the Logitech Gaming Software on a console. 😬
Erik liljeberg Thank you very much. :) I am trying to get my English better. Thank you for the advice. And as for the subs, they will come, one day... ;)
How do you sync the lights on whats happening to the display? Mine is only customizable using logitech software but no option to mirror the monitor...
Jerson Is ur Man You customise the lights through Logitech Gaming Software. No third party software needed actually. There is an option to do so.

Graf_Nik I don’t think you will get the light effect and you need to connect it with USB so that is another question will it work. 😬
Can you keep them at just one color without them flickering through the software?
You can only adjust the brightness of the LEDs on the speaker, you can't change the colors. But in the LGS you can normally adjust one color that you wish.
In your opinion, how does this compare to your z906? I see you have the z906 control panel and I am tossing around whether to get these or the z906

im liking the walnut whip on his head
switch 😂😂😂
is there an option like when you play csgo or pubg where you're hit at the left part it will light the left side of the speaker?

so which is better? katana or this? and im a bass type of person.
Mark Vincent Arcilla Haven’t tested Katana so I can’t be a judge of this duel. I can only say as I do in the video that the sound is crystal clear and the bass is awesome on these ones. 😉
Great in depth review. Thanks. Please get a microphone for better audio in future videos. 😊
dpanch_89 Thank you. 🤗 Yeah, that is my next step. 😉

Do I need my PC on for Bluetooth connection?
G560 VS Z906 Which one will you choose?

@@PCCrazyDario Are the cables long that comes with the Z906
@@pokemonie131 Yeah, they are. Not sure exactly how long, but you'll manage nicely.

man these look nice, who would dislike???? :(
Goldz True Maybe they don’t like my video. 🤔 Or maybe they think that the RGB speakers are simply too much. Who knows... Not stressing about it 😉
hey man would you mind telling me if they have a hissing sound cause i saw on reddit people complaining of a sound when the speaker wasnt playing anything
