Great video! I loved your covers of Not a Bad Thing, and Stay With Me. Both of those inspired me to implement the different techniques in my playing so it was great to see a video where you explained the techniques you used in them. Hope to see more videos like this in the future! Your style of playing and original songs have definitely made you one of my musical role models.
Hi Hannah, I've just got into this RUclips thing as a video maker but I enjoy your arrangements and easygoing approach to guitar. Keep it up and all the best!
May be outside of your what your into but Northcote (free tonight/energy), Josh Ritter (Idaho), Chuck Ragan (Califnornia burritos/camaraderie of the commons) are some pretty acoustic songs. Some are kinda downer music though. Trevor Gordan Hall's Kalimbatar is pretty great also if you ever want to drill a kalimba onto your guitar.
If I could subscribe twice I could :D I'm a musician and I'm constantly looking for new ways to play. I'm currently trying to learn fingerstyle and and how to play with open tunings. I'm mostly learning from musicians like sungha jung but I know there are other people who play that way also. I would love to see more videos like this, learning tips from the pros. I would also love to get into some of the applications to music theory if you have them
Hi Today is the first time I happen to see you here in youtube. Given the nature of your long experience in playing acoustic guitar, I would like to get a chance to watch any instrumental music in your acoustic guitar and just to inform you that I have been my acoustic guitar for the last 7 months after I left playing Guitars 28 years ago because of my profession.
Would love to hear you sing A Song to Sing by Hanson, its my fav song. To me its about all the reasons I love music and listening to it =) As for an acoustic song?? My 2 favs are Wanted Dead or Alive, but most people have heard that one. But also When the Children Cry by White Lion... Absolutely love the song and the acoustic playing in that one.
Hey! I love your voice. Maybe some song by NEEDTOBREATHE you might be interested in? Also, a cajon box with your guitar skills would be awesome. I loved your cover of Hallelujah too. I wanna learn how to do the last of your three tricks but it's kinda hard right now, maybe a tutorial further explaining that? I hope to here from you soon! Also, I'm 20 years old and have been playing guitar for a couple years now. You inspire me to get better. Thanks!
Hannah, unless I'm mistaken you've disallowed comments on your SPDSX video despite asking for comments in the video itself. Please do keep doing technique and gadget/instrument videos like this one and like your SPDSX video. Maybe a few guitar reviews?
Would love to hear you do a version of passenger's bullets from his new album, I love your voice and 9 times out of 10 I prefer your covers to the original x
That's dope! I'm just beginning to play the guitar n this'll help :) Idk if you've heard of Joshua Radin, but you should check em out, he makes really medolic music n like soft tones
