The Clover one is the best. There are others that are not so good and/or frustrating. Personally, I thread a bunch of needles at one time and just push them down the thread to use the first one.
The Clearly Perfect Slotted Trimmer is amazing. Makes that dreaded ‘squaring up’ duty less daunting. Best part is you square the HST before you iron - AWESOME!!
I also had a problem with a very slight decrease. I put the line just a hair below the sew line (if I can see the thread line, I’m good). I also had to add medical tape to the back to prevent slippage. I’ve not had to do that to any other ruler. Just this one🧐
The items I have and use are the following: Dritz Quik Turner, Desk Needle Threader, Slotted Trimmer, Simple Folded Corners and the Log Cabin Trim tool. Keep the directions for all these products to refer back to when needed. The Quik Turner seems complicated until you read the directions, but I love the 3 different sizes. Desk Needle Threader works great, but, you put the thread into the slot and then the needle. I gently hold the thread to make sure it gets caught into the needle. Size of needle eye is important. There is a desk needle Threader that has 2 different slots for different size needles, but I can't remember the name of the company that puts it out. I just occasionally see it and when I do, I will buy one. The springs will eventually break and the thread is no longer usable. Slotted Trimmer is my favorite tool when making two or more half square triangles at once from for example when using charm packs etc. I like oversized blocks and then trim them down. With this tool, you trim, then press open the triangle square. There are slots that trim the dog ears also. It really makes accurate triangle squares. I have the Log Cabin Trim Tool, but, I have not used it yet. It's on my bucket list of quilts to make. I use photo copy fabric for all my labels. It's easy to add clip art that applies to the quilt and make really great labels. I have not used the photo fabric on a roll, though. Ink jet printers are a must and heat setting the labels once the ink has dried is a must. The photo fabric sheets I use are really hard to sew with a hand needle...ask me how I know this. So I put on a 1 1/2 " border around the label and then turn and fold part enough of the border to cover the seam line on the back mitering the corners. That give me a folded fabric edge to sew to the back of the quilt that is so much easier. I usually make the border from the backing fabric that I trim after quilting. It blend in with the backing letting the label shine. I have also learned that it is easier to sew the lower edge of the label to the quilt when adding my binding. Then I only have to tack down 3 sides. Also attach those 3 sides before the final stitching of the binding. Doug Leko's Simple Folded Corners is a really great tool. There are tutorials on line to show you how to use the ruler. I actually took a class from Doug and it was our primary tool to use that day. It's great for saving fabric and if you don't like to trim, then this is the tool for you. It also eliminates the dog ears ahead of time, so you don't have to trim those. You may have a little bit to trim if you sewing is off or you are a Type A person, but, it's a great tool. This was long, but it has been my experience with these items.
Thank you so very much for sharing!!! I'm glad to hear that the purchases I made are worthwhile! I will follow your instructions as I use each one. Thank you again!
Thank you! Now I understand how to make a label and sew it on! I would not have understood how to make a border and then hand sew that to the quilt. Great suggestion!
I use the Dritz turner. I love it!!!! It’s easy to use and easy to store. I bought it because I was making some cloth animals to add to an activity quilt for a grandbaby. I was able to turn legs, tails, etc. with great ease. I’ve since used it for many other projects.
I have at least 10 unopened products, especially rulers. Thank you for the video, I plan to open and use mine in 2024. I do have the slotted ruler and have used it. I remember I liked the way it worked.
I hear you!!! I buy them because I'm POSITIVE I'm going to use it...but unless I have a current project where I could use it, I forget about it . I need a drawer for new tools - so I make sure I try them before they get tucked away! Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting!
Quilt shows are the best place to see new tools for quilting … Demo are great to see and learn from the person showing what it is and how to use it. I’m like you .. I see it .. I love it .. I buy it … months later I pull it out and wonder “what was I thinking?” Some things eventually get used.. some go back in a drawer .. I’m a huge fan of tips and tricks. Thanks to you for sharing … I appreciate you for being a tester! 🧵
Too funny. My sewing room is so disorganized and my goal for the New Year is to put up pegboards with all the hooks and baskets so I can display all my handy gadgets that I’ve purchased and haven’t used(forgot I have) and when working on something I see them, try using them. Can’t wait to hear the results of your tests with all the products!
The Clearly Perfect Slotted Trimmer is excellent for , not only HSTs before pressing, but also for HG units before pressing. Jenny Dian with Missouri Star Quilt Company prefers this . Her daughter Natalie prefers the Bloc-Loc tools for trimming HSTs. It comes down to personal preference once these tools are used.
First time to see your channel, Mary. Thanks for the ideas. I look forward to your demos. Thanks also to everyone who offered useful comments. I don’t own even one of the products. I do love my Bloc-Loc for HSTs.
Testing quilting products is a great idea for a RUclips series. I heartily recommend the Creative Grids Log Cabin rulers which produce accurate blocks. You will not be able to use it for quilt as you go because you trim the edges of the block after adding each round of logs. The Simple Folded Corners ruler can conserve fabric when cutting triangles but not when cutting the foundation squares. I recommend it for accuracy.
I would to be able to buy the clearly perfect slotted ruler for HST's but I live in Australia. Have not been able to purchase one here. Looked on Etsy and it will cost me AU$80 by the time I pay postage and taxes. Have seen Jenny Doan demonstrate it and it looks awesome.
I’ve recently, purchased the Clearly,Perfect Slotted Trimmer - all 4 sizes - but haven’t had a chance to use them YET! I’ve been obsessed with HST lately and I’m always looking to find tools that will help me make them just the right size!!!
I have the Creative Grids Folded Corner Clipper which is similar to the one you showed and I LOVE it!! No more drawing lines, no more figuring out where to sew; just use the ruler to cut the corners off both fabrics and sew your 1/4" seam by lining up the edges with your guide and you're done.
I used this pattern design idea for a quilt for my granddaughter like the one behind you. I saw it on line, maybe here(!), and made it without pattern. It is coming out pretty well. I like yours
I use the Add a Quarter or Add an Eighth any time I paper piece. I took a class from Carol Doak on Craftsy several years ago in preparation to make a Storm At Sea quilt. She showed how to tape the top of the ruler (I used a piece of Gorilla tape almost as wide as the ruler) to the top right edge of the card stock piece that comes with it, aligning the ridge on the ruler with the edge of the card. That way you lift the ruler wit one hand, fold your paper back over the cardboard, flip the ruler back down tucking the ridge against the card and cut your seam allowance. It works great. I also use her paper (it's like the old newsprint reams of paper we had in school). The eighth ruler is great for her little card patterns or small blocks. I made my quilt and many other projects with it.. These have held up great- I've never had to redo the taping or card. I also have the tube turners, still in the packaging, so I'll look forward to see how they work. I plan to make the apron after Christmas. Diane
I have several of these that I also have not used, so will be watching to see how well they work. The Dritz quick turners work very well, especially if you baste one end closed and then just snip that little end off when it’s turned.
I have already tested several. If you check out the Daytime Live - that's where I have tried the Quick Turn, The Fussy Cutting rulers, The Needle Threader, The Slotted Trimmer, and the Add an Eighth Ruler so far. Thanks for watching!
I use the clearly perfect slotted trimmer all the time as well as the needle threader. The needle threader is a life saver for my hand quilting projects.
I love my desk needle threader when threading milliners or straw needles. When I do needle turn applique, I tend to bend my needle and then the threader doesn't work well.
I have the quick turner & love it when making art dolls. Also have the needle threader, won it at a quilt retreat, best prize ever. Have the slotted hst ruler, have 2 sizes& use for trimming hst, really like it.
I have this dritz quick turn and love it❤❤👍👍👍i would definitely recommend it to anyone that works with tubes for handles or straps. I also have the smaller fussy cutting templatesand love it it has an x you put on the center and cut around it to get the fussy block you want in your quilt
I have a different brand of tube turners that I bought years ago and mine really work. Saw them on Sewing with Nancy. Looking forward to the needle threader...I haven't figured that one out.
I did a demo on the needle threader two weeks ago - it was a Live Stream. Here's the link if you'd like to watch: ruclips.net/video/VdJhBdInVf4/видео.html
Thank you Ann! I have the exploding heart pattern and hope to do it next year. This is good to know as I have the slotted trimmer rulers. Happy stitching 🧵🪡
I, too have the Exploding Heart pattern - just have t found exactly the fabric line I want as I love the original but thst fabric isn’t available. I know, I just get too concerned about being perfect😄😄😄
I’m literally using the simply folded corners ruler right now! I use it all the time and almost never for folded corners. It is a wonderful trimming tool and to get nice cuts to prevent dog ears. Love this ruler! Probably my favorite one!
So far everything except the add an 1/8th , needle threader, creative grids I have to many rulers,my photo material is still in the plastic, the folded corners, the appliqué paper and the the fussy cut template. I love my slotted trimmer and the rest that I have used are in some hidden recess. The fussy cutting template? And clear square will do the same. Love your show
I have used the Add an Eighth for years when constructing miniature blocks. The smaller allowance is perfect for 1/4" wide log cabin strips. I've also used several variations of the Creative Grid log cabin rulers - regular, curved, and wonky. All result in perfectly sized blocks.
I have about half of these products. Found the needle threader more cumbersome than just using an inexpensive wire one. The Log Cabin Ruler is a game changer. The blocks come out so perfect and even though it is an extra step, I find a much easier process for log cabin blocks. They are my favorite too! Looking forward to future videos on these products.
I’ve used and liked the slotted trimmers and the Dritz turner which works great! Also, have the needle threader but use it mostly for the cutter. I’ve used other photo fabric but not that one. The photos turn out well but don’t last well if laundered a lot. I. Now do sublimation photo printing on 100% poly, which washes great and photos stay crisp.
Love clover desk needle threader, I use size 11 milliners needles and just couldn't thread them until I bought my clover desk needle threader I bought the small log cabin block really to use up scraps, I have only used it a few times. I love the clover soft touch thread pick.
I have THE CREATIVE GRID LOG CABIN in the 12 inch and I love it. For once my log cabin squares were right on and they fit together with great accuracy.
Have used Folded Corner ruler it works well, but I prefer Studio 180 Corner Pop….works great. I am a bit of a ruler freak, love using rulers of all kinds.
Great idea for a video. Looking forward to seeing those products demonstrated. I have used a variety of photo fabric. Years ago I bought one on a roll like that and I could never get it to straighten out and go through my printer right. Since then I either buy the flat cut sheets OR I place a piece of cotton fabric on a page size label (on the sticky side) and run it through the ink jet. Works great. I use it to add pictures and text to my fabric projects.
I only have and use the clearly perfect slotted trimmer. I’m not someone who buys a lot of gadgets or specialty rulers, so it took me awhile to decide to buy this one. I use it all the time, and wish they had one for even larger sized HSTs. Also, if you’re super accurate with your piecing, you can sometimes use it to square up your hourglass blocks - they’re just HSTs on crack.
I love the log cabin duo tool! It was hard for me to see the round 4 marking, but that was easily solved by adding some washi tape. I have the folded corner tool, with the hope that it'll help me with the stitch and flip technique, though I still struggle with it using the tool. Maybe your demonstration will help me figure out how to use it better!
Hi Mary B. I just came across your video channel today. I've watched many of them already today, subscribed and looking forward to more. However, this video is very interesting, because I have many of these items and like you, have never tried them. It will be good to see what you find out. Then I'll try them. Lol
Thank you so much Mindy! You've made my day! I have reviewed many of the items in that video - some during my RUclips Daytime LIVEs, RUclips Night Owl Quilting, as well as just general tips videos. I hope you enjoy them! Thanks so much for watching - I'm glad you found our channel!
I’ve used the photo fabric and it worked great for a personalized bookcase quilt that had photo frames on some of the “shelves.” I was skeptical but pleased with the quality.
I use the Bonnie Hunter brand folded corner ruler. It works great! No more drawing lines from corner to corner. The ruler lines up to cut the corner off leaving the 1/4” seam allowance. Just sew the fabrics together with your 1/4” foot and you are done. I found it helps to move my needle a couple thread widths outwards to the corner to allow for the pressing.
I use the add an eighth ruler for paper piecing small blocks. I made some small blocks using a Carol Doak book. Loved it. Helped made my blocks have less fabric in it and made them lay flat.
I’ve used the Add 1/8 for FPP miniatures or very small blocks. I love it and I use DecoBob for the top thread and bobbin. I’ve had the needle threader since the 1990s and still use, very useful now that I’m in my 60s, but always used.
I have the desktop needle threader, and I love it. I do a lot of hand stitching and quilting and embroidery. It saves me a lot of time and aggravation that comes with threading lots of small eye needles. I also like that it has a thread cutter on it, too.
The quilt behind me is available in our Etsy store. It's called "A Boo-tiful Quilt" and the pattern shows it with ghosts and Halloween fabrics, but the one in the video simply uses red squares with black and white sashing. Here's the link: www.etsy.com/shop/JoyfulMerryQuilting?ref=shop_sugg_market Thanks so much for watching!
I have the simple folded corners ruler and have used it mainly with stitch and flip type piecing. It worked well especially when sewing small pieces on.
I have used the slotted trimmer and love it. I also have the desk threader and was successful 1 out of 100 tries. Extremely frustrated. It will be interesting to know what I was doing wrong since so many liked it.
Just put the Add an Eighth ruler on my shopping list. LOL! Curious to see how the Clearly Perfect slotted trimmer works for you. I have the Creative Grids 10" Wonky Log Cabin trim tool and love it!
Thanks a bunch! I'll do my best to demo those products! I appreciate your comment! Thanks for watching and enjoy that new ruler (you can't have enough rulers!!!).
The clearly perfect slotted trimmer is marvellous! I have also used the appliqué paper in my last two quilt tops - easy to use, I enjoyed sewing my appliqué shapes with it but have yet to wash the quilt top so don't know how soluble it actually is :)
I have the desk top needle threader and I at least find it more work than it is worth! I found a wire one with a LIGHT! that made a lot of difference! And I have used the photo fabric now for YEARS. It has held up well. Not the same company as the one you showed, but it is a fun way to add a lot. Did one quilt for a "make a quilt about your favorite book" challenge where I did my whole TOP shelf of favorite books because who can pick just one?? LOL
The needle threader is wonderful!!!! The BEST money I've ever spent!!!
That’s great to hear! Thank you!!!
I'm so glad to hear that! Thanks so much for sharing. I'm excited to give it a try!
The Clearly Perfect Slotted Trimmer has been a game changer for me. Some say their blocks come out small, I have not had that problem.
Thanks so much - I'll keep that in mind when I test it. Thanks for watching!
I've had the small issue. I wonder if a group was flawed. But I did figure out I could use my Tucker Trimmer the same way with better accuracy.
I also had a problem with a very slight decrease. I put the line just a hair below the sew line (if I can see the thread line, I’m good). I also had to add medical tape to the back to prevent slippage. I’ve not had to do that to any other ruler. Just this one🧐
One tool for multiple sizes. I get the perfect size. I tried the Loc Bloc and can’t afford multiple sizes and uses more effort.
The items I have and use are the following: Dritz Quik Turner, Desk Needle Threader, Slotted Trimmer, Simple Folded Corners and the Log Cabin Trim tool. You are welcome! Hope you are as happy as I have been with the products.
Great information. Thank you for sharing. (PS: Don’t worry about paragraph breaks.)
Thank you so much for going to the trouble of sharing wonderfully helpful tips ❣️
Thank you! Now I understand how to make a label and sew it on! I would not have understood how to make a border and then hand sew that to the quilt. Great suggestion!
The simple folded corner ruler is a game changer. I use it every single day. It stays on my cutting table. I love the log cabin ruler also.
Thanks so much for the input! Thanks for watching!
I use mine on binding
My husband ordered the Clover needle threader for me. IT is wonderful. Thank you for the information about this quilting tool.
You're so welcome! It really does work well - you're going to love it! Thanks for watching!
Love the tube turner it made turning out straps so easy
I agree! Thanks for watching!
I use the Dritz turner. I love it!!!! It’s easy to use and easy to store. I bought it because I was making some cloth animals to add to an activity quilt for a grandbaby. I was able to turn legs, tails, etc. with great ease. I’ve since used it for many other projects.
Thanks so much for the tip and thanks for sharing!
Have not had luck with the folded corner ruler.
Thanks for the input! Thakns for watching!
The quick turn tool is a must when making doll clothes. Especially helpful in turning lined bodice for American Girl dolls.
Great to know!!! Thanks for sharing and for watching!
I think the folded corner ruler is one of the best ruler there is. I just love it.
I really did like it as well! Great tool! Thanks for commenting!

I use the needle threader and thread 10 needles to put into the Clover Dome threaded needle case for my EPP. Love them both!!
Thank you for the tips!!!
Cleary slotted trimmer is awesome! I use mine a lot. The quick turns are great too.
So good to know! I will definitely give it a try! Thanks for watching!
Same! I love HST's and they come out beautifully squared with this ! I highly recommendI I love it and budgeted for it.
I love this ruler, so easy to use

Yes - I love it! I demo-ed it in my LIVE video on February 21st if you'd like to take a look: ruclips.net/video/3Utrbbs02Qw/видео.html
I have used the clearly slotted trimmer, works great
So good to hear! Thank you for commenting and thank you for watching! I'll definitely give it a try!
I have the log cabin ruler. Loved it. The squares come out perfectly.
I'm so glad to hear that. I can't wait to try it!
Love the needle threader
Good to know! Thank you for commentig and for watching!
Interesting! I'll check that out! (I never turn down an opportunity to purchase a new ruler!)
I love the Creative Grid Folded Corner Clipper! I have both sizes. Use it to join binding stripes as well as borders!’
@joyfulandmerryquilting it has been a game changer for me! I really struggle with folded corners.
@nickyevans174 it's probably most loved ruler/notion. I haven't tried it with binding, but I can definitely see it being a huge help!
Good. to know. I want to get it to use on Lori Holt quilts because there are so many snow balls...Can't wait to see it in use!
The desk needle threader works like a charm. I use it all the time.
Great to know!!! Thanks for watching and for sharing!
I use this needle threader all the time. marvellous. Regards from New Zealand.
Thanks for joining us Mary!!! And thank you for the endorsement...AND for watching!

Great to hear! I look forward to tryint it!
Thread Magic will help wih threading needles, smooths the thread fibers~
Thank you!
The Simple Folded Corners Rulers are my favorite of all my rulers! I use them for flying geese and for flippy corners all the time!
Thanks so much for your input!

I have that issue as well...after a while I don't need to replace my needle because it's dull...it's because it's bent. Thanks for sharing!
The Clover needle threader is awesome. Couldn’t be easier to thread the needle, especially the older my eyes get!
Yay - so happy to hear that. I've heard positive and negative comments. I'm looking forward to trying it!
Tried a number of these and the eyes of my needles seem to be too small so wasted lots of money.
I have the quick turner & love it when making art dolls. Also have the needle threader, won it at a quilt retreat, best prize ever. Have the slotted hst ruler, have 2 sizes& use for trimming hst, really like it.
Thank you so much for commenting!
The Clover threader as recommended it to me recently and it's just great!
Good to know! Thanks for sharing!
I have this dritz quick turn and love it❤❤👍👍👍i would definitely recommend it to anyone that works with tubes for handles or straps.
I also have the smaller fussy cutting templatesand love it it has an x you put on the center and cut around it to get the fussy block you want in your quilt

I use the needle threader all the time i would not be without it. Greetings from New Zealand.
WELCOME! WELCOME! WELCOME!!! Thanks for watching and thank you for the tip!
I have the threader I'm still using it especially with fine needle used for applique
That is so good to know! I will definitely give it a try! Thanks for commenting and for watching!
I amso impressed that I do not have any of these 10 items, lord knows I have my share of items in my sewing roo.
Ha Ha!!! Yes - and I'm sure I have many of the items you have hidden away as well! :-) Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting!
I don ‘t have those products but I am curious enough that I have subscribed! Thank you! Looking forward to your « trials » video!
You're so welcome! Thanks for watching and for commenting!
the Dritz tube turners are terrific!
Great to know!!! Thanks for sharing!
I had the Clover fabric folding pen for 8 months until I finally used it. It’s wonderful!
Great to know! Thank you!
Love the slotted rulers, used it when making the Exploding Heart quilt, saved me hours of frustration getting the pieces to match!
Great tip! Thank you and thanks for watching!
I use the needle threader all the time. Great product!
Thanks for the endorsement! And thanks for watching!
I love my triangle slotted trimmer. However I did put a non skid material on the point.
Great tip! Thank you!!!
Thanks for hinting bout adding grippers. I love the True Grips ones and they really work well.
I use the Appliqué Paper all the time for lots of different applications. A great Aussie product!
Great to know! Thanks for sharing!
I live the log cabin template I also used the pineapple template. Both quick and easy.
Thanks so much for sharing! I'm looking forward to testing these!
I have the slotted trimmer rulers and love them. I made a quilt for my room with churn dash blocks and man did this ruler cut my time considerably.
I can see how that would be a benefit! Thanks so much for sharing!
I’m literally using the simply folded corners ruler right now! I use it all the time and almost never for folded corners. It is a wonderful trimming tool and to get nice cuts to prevent dog ears. Love this ruler! Probably my favorite one!
That's so great to kow! Thank you so much for sharing!
I’ve used a tube turner and loved it. I also use the desk needle threader; I love it - can’t do without it.
Good to know - thanks for the input!
Love your show
Thanks for all the input and thank you so much for watching Judy!
I have the quick turn and it works great.
Great! Thanks for sharing!
I have used the Add an Eighth for years when constructing miniature blocks. The smaller allowance is perfect for 1/4" wide log cabin strips.
I've also used several variations of the Creative Grid log cabin rulers - regular, curved, and wonky. All result in perfectly sized blocks.
Thanks Kim!!! Great info!!!
The creative grids log cabin tool is awesome. Highly recommend.
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing! I appreciate your review - and will keep that in mind when I test them!
Thanks for the information and thanks so much for watching!
Love the Fritz turners! Game changer!
That's great to hear! Thanks for sharing!
I have used the Dritz turners and they work great…especially turning little straps for girls dresses!
YAY! I'm so excited to give them a try! Thanks for your input and thank you for watching!
Love clover desk needle threader, I use size 11 milliners needles and just couldn't thread them until I bought my clover desk needle threader
I bought the small log cabin block really to use up scraps, I have only used it a few times.
I love the clover soft touch thread pick.
Thanks so much for sharing your input! Thanks for watching!
I used the liquid vinyl on mug rugs and it worked great! Followed the directions and I think I used 2 coats.
That is GREAT to know!!!! Thank you so much for sharing and for watching!!!
I assume you used the product on the back side of the mug rug? Thanks for the !
I used it only on the front.
I bought some for making cosmetic and dog treat pouches but haven't tried it yet- following!
I have THE CREATIVE GRID LOG CABIN in the 12 inch and I love it. For once my log cabin squares were right on and they fit together with great accuracy.
That is so good to know! I'm getting ready to review the products on our RUclips Live sessions. I thank you for your feedback.
Have used Folded Corner ruler it works well, but I prefer Studio 180 Corner Pop….works great. I am a bit of a ruler freak, love using rulers of all kinds.
Thanks so much for the tip! I'll check that out! Thank you for watching! EDIT: OK - I ordered it! I'm also a ruler freak! Thanks again!
Thanks so much for the ideas! Thanks for watching!
I use the creative grids version of the folded corner ruler. Thoroughly recommend, I'm a beginner quilter & it works very well every time
Great to hear! Thanks for sharing!
I have the threader - it is a mixed bag - depends on the needle if you are successful in threading
That's what I wondered. I'll give it a try and see if it works with what I use. Thank you for the input and thanks for watching!
Agree. If the needle hole is too small it doesn’t work
I use the threader for smaller needles it works great with primitive gatherings binding needles.
I'm so glad to hear that!!! I will definitely give it a try! Thank you for watching and for sharing!!!
I have the log cabin 8” and the log cabin curve 8” rulers and love them!
Thanks for sharing!
Great tips! Thanks so much for watching!
There are larger ones now!!
I use a dowel and a pvc pipe for turning. I use different sizes of pvc. Works great
Great tip! I THOUGHT about that! Glad to hear that it works! Great DIY idea!
@@joyfulandmerryquilting your welcome.
I have the slotted trimmers I love them
Sounds like it's a good purchase from what the reviews have been so far! Thank you for commenting!
Thanks Carrie! I really appreciate your input and I'll do my best to come up with a helpful tutorial! Thanks for watching!
The needle threader is a must. I also use the thread cutter included with the threader to cut between chain pieced blocks. Hope this makes sense
Thanks so much for sharing and for watching!
I’ve used the photo fabric and it worked great for a personalized bookcase quilt that had photo frames on some of the “shelves.” I was skeptical but pleased with the quality.
That is so good to hear!!! I'm very excited to try it! Thanks for watching!
How’s it look (ink) after a few washings?
I hope the photo fabric works for quilt labels! Can't wait to hear what you think.
I want to check this out, sounds interesting
I've used the desk needle treader and it does work quite well depending on your needle!
Thank you! I'll give it a try!
Thanks for the tip! I will keep that in mind!
I use the add an eighth ruler for paper piecing small blocks. I made some small blocks using a Carol Doak book. Loved it. Helped made my blocks have less fabric in it and made them lay flat.
Perfect! Thanks for the tip! And thanks for watching!
I’ve used the Add 1/8 for FPP miniatures or very small blocks. I love it and I use DecoBob for the top thread and bobbin. I’ve had the needle threader since the 1990s and still use, very useful now that I’m in my 60s, but always used.
Great to know! Thank you for sharing!
I have the desktop needle threader, and I love it. I do a lot of hand stitching and quilting and embroidery. It saves me a lot of time and aggravation that comes with threading lots of small eye needles. I also like that it has a thread cutter on it, too.
Thanks for the info! I'm excited to try it out! Thanks for watching!
Hi, new, can you tell me where I can get the pattern and name of the quilt I this background. I love it.
That is so good to know! I'm looking forward to trying it! Thanks for watching!
It works beautifully to sew binding strips. and finishing the binding before sewing to the back or front of the quilt.
I have used the slotted trimmer and love it. I also have the desk threader and was successful 1 out of 100 tries. Extremely frustrated. It will be interesting to know what I was doing wrong since so many liked it.
I have heard that about the threader, but glad to see you love the slotted trimmer!
I can't wait to see how well they work. 😊 I'm excited.❤
Thank you! I'll be posting the videos in 2024! Thank you so much for watching!
Thank you so much for sharing! That is very helpful! Thanks also for watching!
LOL
Great ideas and insight! Thanks so much for commenting and for watching!
I've not used the tube turner you showed but I really like the Fasturn Tool.
Thanks for your input!
