Why was he saying "now lets check out the nylon string guitars" after the first one? Wasn't the first one nylon stringed? It has the body, shape, headstock, etc of a classical guitar. The only thing that seems to separate it from a classical guitar is the fact that it has a truss rod and mainly, the bridge. Can anyone explain?

Nevermind, I watched the intro again and based on the sound, it's obviously not a nylon stringed guitar. Is that a common thing these days, to make classical guitar look-alikes with classical style headstocks and tuning pegs but with steel strings? Is it supposed to be kind of a hybrid Andy McKee kind of thing? I haven't followed acoustic/classical guitars over the passed few years, but I spent several years studying classical guitar and I'm looking to get back into it.

+Aaron Dragg it is parlor, it looks like nylon guitar, but see the bridge, is like a dreadnought, so it is steel...

Are Lag guitars good in the lower price ranges? When I first started seeing them, I thought they looked like very expensive like a high end Taylor or Martin, but it turns out at least some of their guitars are fairly budget and obviously most likely made in Asia or Mexico or something. I'm curious if they're good for the money, despite being lower priced non-premium guitars.

hi all i can say being a french guy, is that i played a LAG acoustic guitar once, in the 400 euros range and it was really great. LAG has been around for a while, mi 80's i think and they are well respected in electric and acoustic. you can't go wrong with one of these

Phil Maison Hmm, didn't know they have been around that long. They're pretty low-mid range priced for the most part and they just started showing up in guitar magazines in the passed several years, so I assumed they were new. I wouldn't be surprised to not hear about them if they were an expensive custom type brand, but if they're a lower priced mass produced type brand then I'm surprised I didn't low about them. They must have been bigger in other countries and not as big in the US, I'm guessing.
