Mega u are soo awesome for sonic animations i just have a question why sonic having Pink boost color normamelly its blue (more blue then the cyan blue of classic)
This is the hyper boost that Sonic uses in the battle against Shadow when he collects two / three spheres. I decided to use it since I like the way it looks.
Гринхиллу нехватает какого-то освещения или шейдеров на мой взгляд, особенно в начале когда Соник бежит по нему, такое чувство, что графон на минималках, хотя сам соник довольно таки яркий)) А ещё не понял почу буст фиолетовый, я думал в видео где Шедоу против Инфинита, у Соника фиолетовый буст потому, что это иллюзия)
Я старался сделать освещение как в игре, даже положение солнца точно такое-же, как минимум тени у меня на много лучше, чем в игре х) Правда рендер от поверхностных теней становится гораздо тяжелее (до 7-и минут на кадр). На счет буста я отвечал ниже)
Да даже не в этом дело, скорее всего это из-за отдельного освещения, т.е. в игре используется освещение для этого места не глобальное, поэтому оно такое темное в некоторых местах и есть свет там, где его быть то и не должно, но сделано для красоты. А у меня на всей карте используются глобальные источники света. Просто хотел попробовать новый способ оптимизации карт который работает, но не так хорошо как оптимизация вручную. Просто то-же Небесное Святилище я делал и улучшал около 2-х месяцев, а грин хилл удалось сделать за неделю, но я не так кропотливо его делал.
Nice. If you were going for "gameplay style" animation then I think you've succeeded. I do have a complains though: 1. The Hyper Boost from Sonic Generations. I just don't like it. The pink doesn't go well with blue if it's covering everything. But that's an opinion of mine, nothing more. 2. 0:48 - 0:50 That's a nitpick than anything but it would be nice if you've actually SHOWN us when Sonic turns back. I can imagine him suddenly trying to slown down, forcing him to put his hand down to the ground, losing speed for couple of meters and then... I don't know enough words to decribe it precisely but I think you get the general idea. And yes, I know it's a "cheat" that allows to spare time but it kinda stings me. 3. 0:57- 0:58 That sudden lose of speed... that bugs me a lot. I'm all about fluid movement so when I see moments like this it makes me think "I'm gonna fucking tell you why I don't like it and maybe even get you some coffe so you will listen to me!". So yeah, you don't need any explaining on that one. 4. 1:00 - 1:04 Aside from the giant robot out of nowhere (would be nice to see Sonic's reaction to it, would make better transition and assiociate [I think?] with the character and with him think "The hell that thing came from?!) we got the same problem with "not showing from characters move". I repeat myself, don't I? 5. 1:14 - 1:15 Again, it's a nitpick. I think if the robot's legs went up a little upon the impact with the ground it would look stronger, like, the viewer would "feel" the power of the impact a little more. So yeah, that's all I have to say, still pretty good job and sorry if I'm too harsh, maybe I should be more understanding seeing as you're not an expert (yet). And I still remember about my promise, had to go trough some tough weeks (or months? How long has it been?) but I should be able to start analysing the rest of your videos this weekend so stay tuned!

I tried a new method with the optimization of the map for Cinema 4D, but this is still not enough, but quickly. The best thing I did was to make Sky Sanctuary, although it took more than a month to create lighting and material processing.
Huh, I didn't realise that you have some difficulties with your computer, that explains why the animation was more limited than last time (although I thought it was for a different reason). What can I say? I can just hope and wish you to get better computer at this point.
