Grown up on a WI dairy farm 60's -90s. I know how good it could be. We have to get back to this. We were self sustaining, earning the lifestyle selling milk. Not to mention the morals and ethics that made people and America what is was.

It’s baffling how the industry has corrupted the word efficiency to mean making the most profits only for the already wealthy. Making communities self-sustaining is actually more efficient in the sense that less energy is wasted transporting materials and resources. Of course efficiency can have different meaning depending on what we want to prioritize, but the community should be the priority. 14:19

Yeah its bad, they ran out of space to dump city trash up in a NW state I wont mention here but they went out and wanted crop farmers to buy this new, lower cost fertilizer and it was a concoction of synthetic minerals with incinerated trash. Problem is people trash chemicals and batteries, etc so it basically started causing high metals in their soil. I remember my grand parents used to incinerate their own trash, the local dairy farmers had people come by to collect glass milk bottles to refill and it worked well. Today instead of pumping human waste into the ground in an expensive septic system Norway invented the Cinderella incineration toilet that gee B Gates was all over that one so Im sure the cost now is soaring ridiculous but it leaves no waste in the ground. Its interesting how quickly tech will denounce or price gouge the better things we have to keep it actually more green while I stare at miles of ugly wind mills destroying beautiful land once owned by hard working ranchers/farmers who deserve to be heard. Most I knew were all organic and produced better then newer farmers trying to utilize chemicals and crazy go..v controlled and regulated bs. I love the generational guys/gals they know their stuff, they've seen it all.

EFFICIENCY; MAKING MORE FASTER FOR AS CHEAP AS POSSIBLE. THE WORD EFFECTIVE NEEDS TO BE PART OF THAT EQUATION. THE PROBLEM/ISSUE I SEE IN ALL OF THIS IS THE URGENCY TO MAKE PROFIT "NOW". HUMAN CONSUMPTION HAS BECOME A CONTROLLABLE VARIABLE IN THAT EQUATION.
