    Ingredients:
    ready-made puff pastry
    ricotta cheese 150 g
    green pesto 4 tsp
    one egg
    poppy seeds
    1. Place dinner plate on top of puff pastry sheet (with the bottom of the plate facing up) and cut around the plate with a knife. Remove the plate and excess dough.
    2. Use a spoon or spatula to spread pesto over the puff pastry circle, top with ricotta cheese.
    3. Place second circle of pastry over the first and press slightly.
    4. Place a glass upside down in the center of the circle. Using a knife, make four cuts from the edge of the glass to the outside of the ring. Repeat step by cutting in the center of each quarter. Repeat once more by cutting in between each eighth.
    5. Gently lift the pastry segment off the baking sheet and twist the dough two times.
    6. Apply egg wash to the top of the dough and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
    7. Bake for 20-25 minutes in 180 C / 360 F until golden brown.
