when I was little, this was me and my dad's favorite ride, I literally couldn't go to BG without riding. (We're regulars) When I was 9, he died, so this ride has some really good and bad memories. 6 years later, I'm 15, last week was the first time I rode it since. They allowed me to drop rose petals into the water, and I even threw one of his fake pirate earrings that he'd always wear into the water. By the time I got out, I was nearly sobbing. This ride will always have a place in my heart.
As a kid I once jumped off this ride at the beginning. There was this little island and I got onto it only to be yanked back in my mother. I proceeded to have the worst spanking of my life haha.
@@gabbyandsky4413 Sorry for the late reply! The bar wasn't really tight or anything- I was just terrifed and slipped out as fast as I could. The ride operators were flipping out, understandably.
This was the first thing I ever rode the first time I was at Busch Gardens! It also comes with a personal memory of ours: When we went, it was August 2005, the Curse of DarKastle was new, and we all dressed appropriately for the hot summer weather. Mom was wearing a reversible bucket hat that was solid red on one side and white with pale-orangeish polka dots on the other. She wore it on the latter side. Eventually, I found Le Scoot and wanted to go on it. All three of us, Mom, Dad, and I, got in line. Since Mom saw that lots of guys who were boarding the ride had baseball caps on, she thought it was fine to wear her hat on the ride. She was sadly mistaken. When our log dropped down that final plunge, Mom's hat flew off her head to who-knows-where, and she never saw it again. (Initially, she regretted that mistake, but now she says that she doesn't miss that hat the tiniest bit anymore. Go figure!) We purchased two park-taken photos of us about to go down that plunge: one with her hat still on, and one taken mere seconds later with the hat missing.
when i was 4 we went on a really cold day in October and there was no one on the ride so they let us just stay in the boat.. i really liked water when i was 4, we rode 27 times without getting off.
This is a nice log flume ride... Clean looking and good layout of ride. Nice to have a roller coaster come by you so close as your finishing up your ride.
this ride look like such a nice one :) the atmosphere of it seems awesome and nice and relaxed. I also like the look of the white rollercoaster, this is definitely on my bucket list! thank you so much for uploading this :)
It is fantastic! I highly recommend this one, you don't get too wet, and it is a classic, and it is surely relaxing! By the way, that white roller coaster is called Alpengeist.
The second fellow employee is the best and nicest one saying "have fun". I'm from Germany and in Europa Park no one says that to you while riding cause there is no employee everywhere
I absolutely love this ride. Me and my dad always ride it whenever we go to Busch gardens. I never actually knew the real name until I watched this LOL.
I love the water rides where the boats go up a conveyor type lift. The ones that have the rollercoaster track type lift are kinda icky. The conveyor type with the fiberglass trough that it floats in are true water rides “Log Jammer” type. Wish they go back to these.
I used to go to Busch Gardens all the time until I moved to the mid west. Le Scoot is a pretty big log flume ride and Escape from Pompeii is like the best water ride I have ever been on. Love you Busch Gardens. I'll be back soon.
One of the last times my family last went to Busch Gardens, we made a point to stop here. My parents INSISTED on singing "Alouette, gentille aloutte" from Kids in the Hall the entire ride. The guy at the top before the drop got a kick out of it. It started raining as we hit the bottom, an it rained most of the rest of that trip. We got absolutely soaked and while we were miserable all day, it's still funny to tell to this day.
You guys should see this ride now. As of very recently, most of the trees around it are completely gone. On top of that, new theming was added. It's almost as if it is a totally new ride.
I remember going on this ride when we would visit Busch Gardens back in the early 1980's (I was just a child then). It was one of the few rides I could handle at the time. I don't think it was called "Le Scoot" at that time, or at least I just remember it being referred to as the "Log Flume". My wife and I went to BG just a few days ago, and we went on this one. She was nervous about riding it, but I told her if I could manage it when I was a kid, then she could easily manage it too. And she ended up enjoying it.
Yes - thank you! I have searched the internet trying to find pictures of the saw on this ride….I remember it having that too and freaking out about it at age 4. I can’t find anything about the saw but for sure it existed!
Busch Gardens Williamsberg always had great water rides with nice layouts and landscaping. They should invest in one more however because they can do a great job with the layout and theme. I would put one in the Ireland section were the motion Sim ride was.
We go here every summer!!! An in October we return for hallowscream.. can't believe that huge blade is still turning.. I like the other water ride escape from something.... Can't remember the last word
Me,my dad,and brother loved this ride so much when I was little we always got on it. Once my brother almost died on it tho he was so young and my uncle got on with him my brother was on the back seat my mom was telling "HOLD ON AND DON'T LET GO" we were so scared. But it was fun I'm 11 now. I was like 4 when I got on it
hey, is there anything special you have to do to film on-ride? I know at BG they're very strict about on-ride items, but is it illegal or do you have to sign something? I'm thinking of filming onride next year at cedar fair parks.
when i went a couple of years ago to the tampa BS they had the same ride and when my cousin and i went through the ride the person that was supposed to stop us so we could get off, didnt in time. We got to ride it again while everyone in the PACKED line was looking at us in pure shock.

you definitely need to ride apollo’s chariot, verbolten, alpengiest, and the loch ness monster first when you go! i also heavily recommend to start at either Apollo’s Chariot or the Loch Ness Monster to get used to drops (Apollo’s Chariot has a first drop of 210ft) and loops (Loch Ness has 2 interlocking loops, but they aren’t bad! they’re super quick.) ***** Thank you.
good tribute. Log flumes also remind me of my dad. First ride he took me on at Crystal beach was the log flume almost 30 years ago
As a kid I once jumped off this ride at the beginning. There was this little island and I got onto it only to be yanked back in my mother. I proceeded to have the worst spanking of my life haha.
Radical Sans dang that was mean
Wait so there is no bar or anything to protect u I have only been on this once when I was very young
Gabby and Sky it’s not a tight bar
@@gabbyandsky4413 Sorry for the late reply! The bar wasn't really tight or anything- I was just terrifed and slipped out as fast as I could. The ride operators were flipping out, understandably.
Where in the ride lol? Does not look like theres anywhere to go off the ride!

ABBAbeth the hamster This was the last ride that I rode the first ever ride i rode was the griffon
Wow what a paragraph. My best friend lost her hat when she went on this ride
My dad lost his hat too
*DON'T WEAR HATS ON LOG FLUMES!*
A GUY FROM ASIA LOST HIS HAT AND IT FLEW RIGHT BACK UP INTO THE DROP! AS THEY WERE GOING DOWN!
Idk why but i love seeing the ride operators just doing their jobs and chillin, the guy at the controls in the beginning made me smile
This is my favorite ride in the world. It’s so relaxing and the drop isn’t sickening.
Such nice, CLEAN water!
This is a very good ride
This ride does have amazing water. I've been riding so long that I just realized how clean it is.
Oh I know, it looks so refreshing..
@@ivyedan7183 it is
We always smile and wave at them. ;)
It's the "log ride" to us 757ers lol
Yes indeed, and the one at Kings is the "log flume"
Fr I have never called this "le scoot" at the park
Everyone calls it the log ride, “le scoot” is just the pretentious theme name they gave it.
Yep lol
Yes sir
when i was 4 we went on a really cold day in October and there was no one on the ride so they let us just stay in the boat.. i really liked water when i was 4, we rode 27 times without getting off.
27TIMES? I had no line too they let me stay in the boat and I got off after 4 and I had enough but 27 omg
***** *-* :0
***** your parents must have hated you during that time
We did the same thing on the log flume at Kings Dominion but it was April..
Casper Sturm like me I never got off I was with mom
The water looks so clean compared to the one in Tampa
This one also looks so much older lol
+Tampa Dashcam They revamped it last year
qq
Have you rode Griffon?
TAMPA SUCKS
This is a nice log flume ride... Clean looking and good layout of ride. Nice to have a roller coaster come by you so close as your finishing up your ride.
I have a special place in my heart for this ride. I hope it is still open. I remember riding this when I was 4 with my mom.
Good news, still open! And no plans to close it.
this ride look like such a nice one :) the atmosphere of it seems awesome and nice and relaxed. I also like the look of the white rollercoaster, this is definitely on my bucket list! thank you so much for uploading this :)

The log floom is awesome except the line is always sooo long and if you go on alpengeistt ever you have to sit in the front!!
The second fellow employee is the best and nicest one saying "have fun". I'm from Germany and in Europa Park no one says that to you while riding cause there is no employee everywhere
Lol
Why are they there at all? I would be quite worried with so much personell along the track, as if the ride is really unreliable.
@@dolphbusche is cuz to maintain it so if there is someone in front of you they can stop it so you wont hit them on the drop
Loved how u had time to capture the other coaster!! :)
I absolutely love this ride. Me and my dad always ride it whenever we go to Busch gardens. I never actually knew the real name until I watched this LOL.
Love a good ole log ride 😎👍like how you were able to get that roller coaster in there😂 thanks for sharing!
THANK YOU! I have been looking for a good video of le scoot FOR SO LONG! I love this ride!
Love all your fantastic videos, Sharp!
Love this ride! In fact, THIS was the first water ride I ever rode in my life. I was 4 when I first rode it.
I love the water rides where the boats go up a conveyor type lift. The ones that have the rollercoaster track type lift are kinda icky. The conveyor type with the fiberglass trough that it floats in are true water rides “Log Jammer” type. Wish they go back to these.

I fricken loved this ride and its name😂
I was at Busch Gardens yesterday ;-;
ღ Ryder ღ this is a stupid question but is the ride still there. I’m going in a couple weeks and it looks fun
That random person LOL Yes it’s actually really fun! I loved all the rides definitely to the griffon it’s the best!
Nobody ever talks about it. I remember riding it once a long time ago with my old friends, before they moved.
Le Scoot! For some reason, when I was little and I refused to ride roller coasters, I'd ride this.
This is my favorite ride in Busch Gardens I still live in the state that Busch Gardens is in
Great drop as well. Such fresh clean water.😊
that is so cool how 2 rides are close together :)
this one was amazing. I did it on my school fieild trip with my friends 20 times because it wasn't popular anymore, at least, not that day.
You guys should see this ride now. As of very recently, most of the trees around it are completely gone. On top of that, new theming was added. It's almost as if it is a totally new ride.
The Logs are better too. Just went on it today. Its like a wasteland without those trees :(
DREADN0UGHT Yeah, it did get new logs. I do miss the trees, but I think that it will be cool when it interacts with InvadR.
I just wish they didn't add the music. I work there and it sucks listening to the same 3 songs for hours at a time.
Went there this week, all the trees have been torn down to make room for the new coaster. It looks so different😕
Such great views of Alpie at the end! 😍
I'm going tomorrow and I'm going to get on this ride like 3or6 times this is 1 of my favorites rides
One of the best rides in America. The big hill is terrifying
This ride looks old but fun
+iitsme __ why😐😑
+iitsme __ why😕
It is both of those things
Tampa Dashcam it is i went on it 6 times
Tampa Dashcam I love water rides like this
i remember asking how much the sawblade was to the guy in the shed
The first ride I’ve ever rode at BG was Le Catapult
I literally have two ride photos of this ride. Way back in atleast 2007. Childhood for sure
This ride was good, but we had to wait so long for it! All the other rides at the park had a rather short wait time
He is where we want to be and remember that his spirit is still with you and your family!
Pretty cool how you got Alpengeist train in the video. :)
Me and my bff got on this ride. So much fun!
Thank you Sharp! :)
so fun to see alpengeist zoom by

This ride is so fun especially if u sit in the first seat

Back in 2007, my mom lost her sunglasses when going down the drop.
I don't know why I still remember that
I didn't know this thing used to have barrel-themed floats, when I went here over the last two years, they always had normal log-themed floats.
That was a nice added bonus of seeing the Alpengeist train go flying by there at the end! :)
I’m going there next week and we are all staying for 7 days there is 13 of us 🤟🏾😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
So, how did it go?
I went on this ride. It was worth waiting for😅😅😅
Rode this day before yesterday it was fun but I was scared before the big drop lol xD
I am going there next week really i am so happy😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😃😃😃😀😀😀

This was my favorite ride
Going back to when all the trees were still standing before invadr :)
Well I'm watching this because I might be going on this tomorrow at Busch Gardens Williamsburg
The first time I went to Busch Gardens, I was too scared to ride it. Now that I know what's in store, I'll definitely give it a go next time I go.
this is my favorite ride ever!!!
When dose it open for the season for next year
I love those old rides, especially when stoned.
I love this ride so much!!!!!!!!
Me and my family did this over and over for 1 hour when everyone left. So fun.
You should go to Go Karts Plus in Williamsburg, Virginia, and ride the Disk-o.
I dabbed in the on-ride photo XD
I'm gonna do that when I go this year 😂
Yeah some people in line will get some chuckles from you doing that lol
+Anthony Kang Teehehehe
really the four people in my boat all dabbed compair
I did too!
Cedar Point used to have one almost exactly like this... I was really sad they don't have it anymore.
Super vidéo bravo 👏
your videos are soooooooo good
How did I not see this today
I went here on a school trip from Iowa and we rode this ride 4 to e in a row
I love going on rides like this.
this ride seems really good I like it
I want to name a flume ride,”Lewis and Clark’s Tsunami Death Ride Adventure.”
wow that thing is still safe? and see how low the narrow edges.
For each lift an operator that I have never seen.
How old is this thing?

What happened to the saw? Did they get rid of it?
I was on that ride before! It's fun.
me and my class went on this a couple years ago. me and my ‘crush’ sat with each other 😭
They could add so much more to the ride like effects especially in the covering where the last drop is.
Does this ride not have restraints at all? People just got in the cars and the ride started.
Yeah, it doesn't. When I first rode it I was like "where are the seatbelts?"
being british, we dont get cool coasters like this, but recently my dad moved to williamsburg, and now i know im going next year. i cant wait to ride literally everything. any recommendations?

illegal child hentai thanks! i will follow your advice!
big frog aye no problem man, i’m just helping a fellow coaster lover out. i’m sure you’ll have a blast!
Did you go off the track at around 2:20?
I think he just went ontop of the water instead of in it lol
Come on spring I need to go there
