The Screamroller was already gone apparently before my first visit there as a kid. It looks very similar to the EXT. Can you shed some light on this? Was the EXT just a new or different version of the Screamroller?
You know the only ride on this list that I can't understand why they removed it from the park is Zambezi Zinger because it was a great family ride and the park doesn't really have anything like that nowadays, it would have been the best ride to keep around. Luckily it still operates in Colombia, so it's not completely lost, but I still wish it was in Worlds of Fun
Zinger really was/is a maintenance nightmare, I believe the park (WOF) budgeted on fixing it but when the price tag went over $2 million they decided to invest in.a new attraction instead. Knowing what we know today they should have budgeted more to save Zinger. I think some of that was based on the fact that they had just bought the park so did not fully realize the impact that taking Zinger out would be.
I just wish I was born in these years... but one of my favs was taken down in 2017.. sadly I have seen so many videos on these and once I can go to Columbia to see the ZZ I’ll be so happy!
Miss all of these coasters especially ZZ. I was very young when I rode Schussboomer but I remember it being pretty intense for what looked like a small coaster.
It didn't have any specific IP theme, it was more generic asian themed. The name of the Express came from the Agatha Christie novel "Murder on the Orient Express"
@@extremeroller That's odd, i don't know why on the logo of the coaster there's some weird Chinese like Creature i always wondered what this creature is
While the Orient Express was an impressive coaster I do not miss it one bit. First ride and it wrenched my neck on the one odd turn [half corkscrew followed buy a turn] that I'm sure injured others as well. Ruined my visit that day.
Long live the memory of The Orient Express. I miss that damn coaster.
I couldn’t have said it better myself. That roller coaster should be rebuilt.
I only been on it once and it was scary as hell...My first roller coaster I been on before I got brave to ride the others😂
Screamroller's double barrel corkscrews.
when i was a kid, it was what began my life long love of coasters.

Soul Asylum - Runaway Train Good Choice of Song
Luckily, the creators of Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun were not stupid and thought that a 168 foot tall water slide was a good idea.
amazing video! thank you for uploading this
theyre building a new version of zambezi zinger as a wooden coaster
its garbage
I rode the Zambesi Zinger in mid 1970s with my aunt. She peed her pants !!

Long live Zambezi............i know there is a new one in Columbia but old one is better 😢
It's not a new one, it's the same coaster. They just sold it to that park.
